I just learned that Ford won’t even build performance pack Mustangs during the winter because the summer tires get way too hard in the cold weather for them to properly safety test them before sending them to the dealerships. Crazy stuff! Enjoy your new sticky winter wheels!
If I were you, I would also pick up a set of tire cables for the rear tires. The cost is about $130 US. Keep them in your trunk; they will pay for themselves if they save you from one tow charge.
Luckily we don't usually get heavy snow here so I should have no issues. For the couple weeks it gets bad ill just use my pathfinder for a bit so the mustang doesn't have to plow through haha
When I was growing up in the 60s and 70s......very few people had 4x4s....most everyone drove family cars in the winter....we got by somehow....some people put snow tires on in the winter....btw...I am from the Great Lakes.
Can you talk about tire sensor. Should I keep it with new tire or buy new sensor for new set tire.. And what will effect to your car. It will give you engine lights for tire sensor.
If your sensors aren't there it will give you a message when the car is on because it's not picking up anything. You can use the factory ones on new wheels most of the time. I used the same wheels so mine work like they always have.
Tried to get myself to watch the video, three times. Finally getting away to catch the whole thing. Great stuff! I just finished building out a mobile tech tool set in the trunk this month with the Homedepot black friday deals on the mid and high torque 1/2's. Spent so much cash on it all. But now i'm AAA out my trunk. lol
@@CanadianCruisin Exactly. Plus even have some instacoffee for a bad time sam incident. Just incase they need some joe. I don't drink coffee but it's good to have.

Interesting video. You should remind your viewers you live in the Vancouver area because you cannot drive a Stang with 275 rear tires in real winter conditions like we have in the rest of Canada. I drive mine with 18" blizzak and even with this far better set-up it remains tricky at times. I also think you should have gone 255 all around. At least you have that option because a couple of years ago that was not even an option and Mustangs with the perf. pack had to be stored here due to no winter tires being available where winter tires were mandatory .
I disagree. I have friends in Ontario that use their mustangs year round. Doesnt matter where in the world the snow is as long as your not plowing through it and know how to drive you will be fine.
Hey man, I’ve been watching your videos for a while since I purchased a 2019 premium pp1 mustang gt! Almost identical to yours but I have slightly more options. It’s almost winter season here in Pennsylvania and I’ve been looking for winter tires. I am waiting for you to review those Nexen Winguard Sport 2s!
