    Hey Isaiah, really nice video! I have a question which I am curious to hear your opinion on: What is your opinion on barefoot training (especially for people who train for vertical jump), do you think the benefits of it outweight any of the potential downsides/risks; Thank you kindly and keep up the good work man!

    Hi, Hello (Isaiah Rivera)
    I'm from the Philippines,
    I have height of 5'3 or 5'4,
    And our Rim height are between 9'7 or 9'8,
    At age of 30 right now I can only touch and grab the rim Ang hanging on it.
    .
    Actually way back 2 months from now, I can't reach the rim, but when I see you I got motivated and start jumping exercise like you that's why after 2months I already touch the rim.
    .
    Question, can I improve my vertical and can I dunk some day?

    Great vid Isaiah!
    Interested in your opinion on if Olympic lifts ( hang clean/ Power cleans) are necessary if an athlete is already doing front squat, back squat, dead lift, Bulgarian split squat, ect. (and progressing in all of those lifts)
    The reason why I avoid Olympic lifts is because I believe the risks of shoulder injuries are not worth it, especially because they don't really have anything that the other exercises don't.

    • @explainingstuffsteven8996
      @explainingstuffsteven8996 Рік тому +1

      imo , power cleans are great for triple extension and force production. As long as your are doing the exercise with a reasonable weight and from its good.

      You exposed yourself buddy😆. But good your doing quarter squats instead of being an idiot and effecting your back. @@woodyboy6493 My guy he is doing those workouts to increase vertical jump and enhance lower body performance and overall jumping coordination. How can you say that they are wrong, they are literally backed up by science and since I'm also doing his workouts I know for a fact that they are not bogus since they were effective for me thus far so I really don't get what you're getting at.

      @@clintguia7984 if you really followed Isaiah you would know he's on a plateau in dunking. Just look at the boys legs😆😆 I know your not gonna tell me he could legitimately squat what he's doing as he must be using his back and it gets me nauseated looking at his back curl 😬😬 yikes. And it's backed by science just cause those idiots say so🤦🏼‍♂️. True successful vertical programs don't instruct you to do weights but yeah maybe some squats but not squat with what you can't rep with.
