  • Join us for Day 2 of our Penang to Gopeng adventure! After a cozy night at our homestay, we started the morning with a hearty breakfast at Gopeng Hawker Center, right by the town’s wet market. Here, we discovered the famous Sister Kuok's Lai Fun No. 8 Stall, where we ordered both the curry and clear soup versions of lai fun noodles, along with some tasty yong tau foo and their unique “Char Kuen.” The kids and our friends enjoyed sampling dishes from other stalls too, including chicken rice, curry mee, and wanthan mee. The flavors here have a special local twist, different from what we’re used to in Penang, but that’s all part of the experience!
After breakfast, we stopped by a lively morning market near Lawan Kuda, where the kids picked out some fun souvenirs. We then headed back to the homestay to prepare for our next stop: Agrotech Farms, which we’ll cover in our next exciting video. Stay tuned!

LOL I don't think I will crave for it, but the curry laifun was my favorite. Th texture is similar to laksa bihun but I don't think it is made from rice.
