- In Part 2 of our Day 2 adventure in Gopeng, Perak, we headed to Agrotech Farm at Kampung Pintu Padang! The farm and petting zoo, perched on a hill, offered scenic views of rustic kampung houses and streams from the nearby whitewater rivers. We arrived around 11am, greeted by ducks and geese happily swimming in a large fish pond stocked with tilapia, patin, and other freshwater fish - a thrilling sight for the kids!
With our lunch reservation set for 12:30pm, we explored the grounds, meeting many interesting animals and birds along the way. The kids had a blast feeding the friendly parakeets and were fascinated by unique sights like the “rooster with bell bottoms,” along with camels, meerkats, and a porcupine. There were a lot of fruits and vegetables planted at the farm, some utilizing aquaponic methods, and also we saw a lot of Kyoho grapes which are delicious black grapes from Japan. To pass the time, there were foosball and table tennis tables available, making for a fun wait before our meal.
Lunch was served at nearly 1pm, and we were thankful for the reservation as the dining hall was packed. The meal was fantastic - a spread of organic farm-fresh ingredients, including kampung chicken and delicious ikan patin, with the standout being the roasted free-range chicken. Leaving was tough, but we’re already looking forward to our next visit! If you’re in Gopeng, Agrotech Farm is a must-visit!
Be sure to watch for more Gopeng adventures!

So many things to do in Gopeng
@@espymu yes, I was surprised too
Tried to go there once but gave up. It was raining and the roads were in terrible condition with poor visibility. Glad you made it and had a good time!
@@miket2737 wah I guess we were lucky. It did rain but later at night.
So much land. Gomen or whoever can easily give to open a dog and cat shelter for strays.
A good sports water rafting... 3 level rapid..I guest.
I heard there are different levels of difficulty... but at different areas. Can ask the organizers there. Looks enjoyable but I think I tak boleh hahaha
220 per pax for the chalet quite expensive oh.. but they offer free meals right?
@@espymu Yes it is inclusive of 3 meals of really good food.
