Pulau Tikus Hawker Stalls & Bonjour Garden at Gurney Paragon: Koay teow th'ng and chicken chop!

Join us for a great start to our Deepavali holiday in Penang! We kicked off our first day with breakfast at the Pulau Tikus Market hawker center. Though a few stalls were closed, we still enjoyed tasty dishes like koay teow th'ng and char koay kak, which hit the spot for our morning cravings. After breakfast, we headed to Gurney Paragon for a movie Isaac had been excited about - Venom: The Last Dance. I got tickets online since he's a huge Spider-Man fan, although he might not quite know Venom’s connection to Spidey just yet!
The movie was thrilling, and after that, we were hungry again! We headed to Bonjour Garden in the basement near Jaya Grocer, which serves delicious Western dishes. This time, we ordered steak and chicken, which came with soup and a drink. We tried both the mushroom and pumpkin soups, and everything was really good. It was the perfect, filling meal to wrap up our outing.
