These grinders are super cool to use! I would compare the difference in these salts to the difference in cheap chocolate and high quality chocolate. There’s an obvious difference in quality, but that won’t stop you from buying a chocolate bar. This Osmo salt is superior, but it won’t stop you from buying regular salt. Just depends on what you’re willing to spend. Still worth trying!
the way i use salt and pepper , one jar could probably last me the whole year , so spending a little bit extra on it , doesn't really matter imo. i can see if you have a big family and need several things of salt and pepper a year , it might be a little too much for bulk buying.
I've seen this stuff on Instagram, I've been curious. Thank goodness there's so many new products coming out constantly, there should never be an excuse for boring BBQ. Endless experiments.
Just came across a 3 pack of these seasonings at Walmart on clearance for like $10 bucks. Kinda looking forward to trying them..... I see alot of that nick guys vids on my feed so hope its good 👍
Taste wise, yes I think so. It’s high quality salt for sure. Now as far as the health benefits, I’m not sure. I’ve heard the health benefits of pink salt are very good!
Hey, big news: NaCl is NaCl. As soon as you remove the texture component (as in grinding and literally melting while cooking), you can't tell the difference, given you use the same amount by weight. Either you're dishonest or you fell for this snake oil bs big time.
Thank you. I had to consult the Dad Joke manual to see if this type of pun was allowed. And thanks for doing this review! I've been seeing Osmo everywhere and had the same questions that you answered with this video. Appreciate you!
I wanna use these on the Prime Brisket I'm going to make on my birthday. But I did the math and the salt + pepper would wind up costing almost as much as the Brisket lol. Price is really out of wack but for a finishing salt it's passable. Was surprised to see the grinders are only $30 each. Which tells me they probably aren't great
Lol, it’s definitely expensive. I truly do like it and we use it a lot! You’re correct on the grinders. I really loved them initially but they’ve both already cracked 😩
HAHAHAHAHA UR NEXT SENTECE DIDNT HELP - Hey are these good grinder sets? Ive been looking @ reviews for hours on others like the Cuisinart duo rechargable or the peugeot brands - they say they last about a year which is unacceptable - how are these buddy? & yes Im trying the salt n pepper too!!!! thank you!
osmo is really bad lmao, the reason yall americans like it is because you haven't had anything other than NaCl. Osmo for the price of it should be literal damn gold flakes. to tell good salt apart you need to be able to physically taste an difference than the salty flavour with just plain salt. I source mine from the Aegean and you can tell its "fresh". this concept is really hard to understand if you haven't had good salt before but trust me osmo isn't worth it.
How about doing a blind taste test. So it's "saltier"? Then add more of the other salt and it will taste just as salty. By not doing a blind test, his whole opinion is invalid.
80 Gramms of salt for 14 dollars? That’s just a ripoff. You get more if you buy it from a store than ordering this overpriced salt that’s no different to any other salt that contains sodium chloride, which is all salt. Maybe the pepper is worth it, but again too pricey
@@GulfCoastSmoke pit it against some serious competition like maldon or any nice quality salt. Because $18 dollars for a shiny jar is nuts. Maldon is crystal salt used by the queen of England and thats £2.50 for double the ammount. When i hear "Michelin quality" or the location a dried herb comes from. I question the legitimacy of the product
@@richard-gn3es Bro, I am baffled how somebody thinks how different types of salt can have more or less flavor. Of course nice rock salt with minerals might change the flavor a bit, but osmo is just plain sea salt. Paying 14 bucks per jar (75g) is absolute robbery. The salt maldon you were talking about, does it make a difference compared to table salt? I am curious
Really glad you liked it! Thanks so much for trying them out :)
They were delicious! Almost out, time for more soon!
Nick better late than never lol, just ordered two of your salts and I’ve yet to try them but I have high hopes
Any one try them you will comment on his video

Two times the salt but four times the price 🙄
