Yeah the quality and design of these vehicles is definitely improving. I would have no hesitation recommending this to pretty much anybody that likes the design :-)
You're doing the best reviews out there. One of the thing that kept me from buying one of these is that I already have a bunch of modded wltoys. I noticed thanks to your in depth review that new upgrades for the 1/14th and 1/12th wltoys may actually be from their development on these or maybe they just threw everything at them idk, are they really that much more solid? A 1/12th brushed wltoys (with a 550 mount) is half the price of this, you may be getting what you paid for in upgrades but for me the 2847 motor in this is not enough for me, I might only buy a body kit from them if I trash one of mine.

It's a kit you can get from PNW RC madness. Not sure exactly how often they make batches of them but it's absolutely worth getting! After probably a year of pretty frequent use I finally blew a hole in the front of it by running a car that was way too heavy on it but that's my fault :-) Thanks for watching and if you aren't already subscribed a sub is appreciated!
Yeah at that price It's hard to beat. Based on the fact that most RTRs these days don't come with batteries knocking You're looking at basically 140 bucks for the truck with the upgrades. I think you'll be happy with it!
@jrfishes It's a no-cry brand variable speed driver from Amazon. Weird name but I really like it. I'm using a MIP bit with that. It's all I'll use anymore. Good quality bits make a huge difference in not stripping out screws. You do need to be really careful with a power driver on screws this small though. I've was a mechanic for 20 years so I've got a pretty good hand for it but if you're not careful you can very easily strip them out.
I'm not sure. I don't have one to compare it to but I have had one in the past and I feel like they're probably pretty similar in chassis size. The tires on this one are a lot bigger though.
Can you recommend a wheel spacer kit? I think it’s also known as a hex wheel extension kit? These axles do not have axle pins and the kits online are incompatible with this car.
No I'm sorry Unfortunately these use a hex attachment design that I don't believe is used anywhere else and because of that I'm not sure you're going to be able to find hex extenders.
Hi ! Thanks for your video and tips! Which one would you choose between this RMAARLO and the MJX Hyper Go 14209 ? I feel like the MJX has better/tougher steering component. But the RLAARLO has a slip differential ? Thanks in advance for your reply
Unfortunately I don't have any first-hand experience with MJX vehicles so it's hard for me to make a recommendation. I have heard other people say that they are good though. Really I would just go with whichever one you like the looks of better. I think you'll be happy with either one.
It's always a good idea to go through the diffs and everything when you get a new car regardless of the brand. They are complicated electronic and mechanical beasts and are often not put together the best in the world. Thanks for watching!
Thx for your. It will be my first RC I want to do it properly. Normally I will also get the upgraded parts so I’ll do all at once. After lots of reading I went for marine grease for the diff, you concur ? I bought short Ovonic 3S 2200mah 35 lipos (short and much lighter). What proper installation do you recommend because of the size ?
@thedoomslayer14 Marine grease is fine but as long as you're not going to be running it underwater any grease will work. Since electronics aren't waterproof anyway I doubt you'll be doing that. I'm not sure about the battery. The best thing to do would be just to get it and then figure out the mounting from there. It might just work under the stock strap but you might need to get a longer strap. I would recommend as I said in the video getting rid of that little nub that's in the battery compartment as it can rub on the battery and cause problems in the long run.

Do you know what pitch they use on the pinion gear, I have heard that they use the difficult to get hold of 0.7 pitch gears that Wltoys use on there various buggys. Making it difficult if you want to fit different count pinion gears.
Yes I thought that would be the case, making it difficult to get hold of different pinion gears to possibly gear up. I understand this buggy comes with a 17t pinion stock, I know you can get 19t & 27t mod 0.7 pinions from Banggood. But if you wanted other size pinions it might prove difficult getting them in mod 0.7 pitch. I am awaiting delivery on this buggy myself from Rlaarlo.
Yeah they're pretty easy. Rlaarlo has pretty much everything on their site and a lot of the parts are shared with all the other vehicles that are based on the same platform.
