- It's fianlly here, the follow up to the Rlarrlo 917 that we loved. This new desert buggy takes styling notes from the Losi Lasernut with the proven Chassis of the WL Toys. We unbox it, give it a speed run and take it out for some bashing and see how it holds up!

Hey fellas, Dumbo RC makes these transmitters for Rlaarlo, check out the small writing on the label on the battery tray cover on the bottom of the TX, also the receivers are are stamped X6F just like the original Dumbo RC receivers 👍 late last year i actually made a video testing if the original Dumbo X6F TX would bind and run the AMX12 buggy with the included Rlaarlo branded X6f RX and it worked perfectly
Yeah that's what it seems like! I have an X6F that I use on my brushless 144001!
I love these cheap rc's cos you just bash the hell out of them without being bothered what happens unlike the more expensive ones.

This looks like a good one , kinda like a lasernut . Call it lasernot. I think they’re first non wl toys chassis is the Omni cf terminator . It’s awesome , the 1/14 is good too brushless .

The light bars are decorative on your free model. But the actual purchased one has brite leds on the light bar! 👍🏻
The light bar absolutely works, the light pods are fakes.

What 3s battery should we run on this thing, and is the metal spur and Pinon combo available fir this car worthit or does it have it already, gotta get the fan and metal parts, but the question is where do you stop getting the metal parts the got mounts, rear support, and turn buckles etc... what's worth and what's not?

Can you recommend a wheel spacer kit? I think it’s also known as a hex wheel extension kit? These axles do not have axle pins and the kits online are incompatible with this car.

How does it handle compared to the WL Toys?
Some PSAs because I love both brands so I feel like I gotta defend my babies. 1.) The brushed 124018 had no issues with cogging. 2.) The 124016 cogged horribly so they released a version 2 which alleviated all the issues and was a fantastic little buggy. 3.) As someone who has sorta worshipped the 124016 v2 for a couple of years now as the best sub $200 experience in RC, I'm really excited to get this Rlaarlo delivered as it seems like a next step in that platform.
2 months on, what are your thoughts?

Hi there i have this Rlaarlo Am-D12 been trying to run 3s on it. But it trashes the 17t pinion gear twice. Have you ran it on 3s yet?
Nope. I’d change the gearing before I went with a bigger battery.
@@10thScaleGarage ok thanks i figured that because that pinion gear is really cheap looking compare to the spur gear. Thanks though.
Use the droop screws and lower it
I am new to RC cars. I just received my Rlaarlo and when i reduce the throttle switch... the car's reverse function no longer works. Can anyone help and tell me how to fix this problem?
I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking, but the manual has instructions on how to set up the ESC and receiver.
The directions suck. It honestly doesnt explain anything about the problem im having. The car is for my young son.... he isnt able to control the car full throttle yet so I lowered the throttle to 25% or 50% using the dial on the remote like the directions said. Wheb i lower the throttle the car is no longer able to reverse. Car will only go forward not backwards...HOW DO I MAKE THE CAR DRIVE FORWARD AND BACKWARDS IN 25% or 50% THROTTLE
What causes coging? Relatively new to brushless
It’s usually related to the esc so may not need to replace the motor the esc controls what the motor does.
@Casitascrawlers so the problem is my esc ,any good replacement recommendations for my arrma senton ? It's still factory ,
Before you replace anything check the solder on the motor wire connectors. I would reflow the solder joints on the motor bullet connectors. A bad factory soldering job can cause cogging. Also, see if the ESC has a manual. If it does see if you can program the timing or startup power. If none of that works then consider changing the esc to a hobbywing.

Instead off road,ger some on raid tires n start building a speed buggy,see what it will do
Sri You can buy a good brand 200 like a Arrma boot... And to enter to a club or for races they don't take this Chinese cars... Why wasting money on this for that amount you can buy a better brand and when Chinese they do something they don't continue with the product they just do it for the money because I know I'm from Asia... But when the professional will be great company do something they know how to continue the the product but these people they're doing just for the money Believe me
2 runs for me then receiver is dead and rlaarlo support not answering anymore... lots of advertising for this cheap chinese car...
That sucks. Mine is still going strong. I think I’m going to pull the receiver out of mine and bind it with my FlySky Transmitter.
