I just love you girls. I just tried my first inlay project and it turned out so so, I am going to keep trying until I get this down pat. Can't wait to see the new winter line of products.
So good!! I just love you two ❤ You have such a great way of explaining how to best use your products and showing just how special they are. Thank you 😘
Hello Ladies, I was so amazed when I came across your products. I went straight to your website and placed my 1st order. I had such a hard time trying to pick out item’s because they are so all amazing. I can’t wait for them to arrive this week so I can start creating. I am most excited about the rub on transfers, I’m sure my small clientele are going to be very happy with all my new items that I will be creating with all my new IOD products.
I think our both look so funky and beautiful, no matter what your hair color is. You can pull anything off. I love your inlays and wonder if you would ever create art in a 5x7 or 8x10 inlay for canvases, or smaller areas.
Wow thank you for such kind words🥰 A lot of our inlays can be cut to size and our new Malange inlay has a lot of smaller pieces that you could make work for 5x7 or 8x10 canvas. I'll still add it to our suggestions list though for the team to go over ❤
Hello, I am from Spain and I would like to know what type of paint is used to make these transfers, I bought some in the US and I don't know how they are used. Thank you.
It can work, however it sticks best to a painted and sealed surface. If you choose to apply it directly to a surface without painting, the more porous the surface the less likely the transfer will stick/stay. You can apply them to glass without prep and they will stick wonderfully. When it comes to a wood furniture surface, it should be prepped correctly. It also will not stick to a dirty surface, or furniture that has any type of oil based cleaners that were being used on it. Let us know if you have any other questions🤗❤
Hi there! We are a wholesale company, you can purchase from any of our approved stockists. I'll link our store locator for you here: ironorchiddesigns.com/retailers/
Hi Mary! While this is considered off label use, you can certainly try it! I'll link a video of our stockist Michelle, at Serendipity House LLC doing this😊 ua-cam.com/video/RutMyji5bzw/v-deo.html
Hi Milagros! When you first purchase your inlay, you really can store it anywhere as long as it's not sitting somewhere in extreme temperatures. After your first use, you could store it in a plastic storage bin, or you could try putting it back into it's original packaging. Really anywhere as long as it won't get wet or anything like that😊
Hoping to finally get an answer I keep asking different stockists . If you use an inlay, say on blue paint, you remove it and there is blue paint on the sheet….on your 2nd use does the blue also transfer to your new project?
I have used the inlays 4 or 5 times now and I can’t get a consistent result. I’m using Annie Sloan chalk paint. I’ve been painting furniture for ten years. I’ve used transfers, stamps, and now inlays. I am really not thrilled with forking out $40-50 for a total failure. It’s either too much paint, or not enough paint. Too much water, or not enough water. Every single piece I’ve done has to be passed off as heavily distressed and antiqued to cover all the failures. Can you add some dupes to your sets and raise the price or something?
Hi Christine! I'm sorry for the frustration. One of the beautiful things about the inlays is the uniqueness of them. Each project will vary a bit depending on if you smoothed the inlay out, how much paint you used etc. I can definitely add that to our suggestions list for the team to look over though! ❤❤
I had no idea the paint inlays could be used more than once. That's amazing.
Yessss🙌
Sisters 👯♀️…. Thank you 🙏 for this video. It’s appreciated and absolute MUST watch. ❤❤❤❤❤❤🇨🇦❤️

Thank you.
Hi there! We recommend using chalk type paint with our products, though you can use any type of paint that you enjoy🤗❤❤
Does it always have to be painted? What if I don't want to paint the furniture?

Great video. Was your surface wood or a canvas?
Thank you, Lisa! This was on wood😊
Hi ..where can I find your products? You don't have any orders section in your website!

Can you lay an inlay on a mirror?
Hi Mary! While this is considered off label use, you can certainly try it! I'll link a video of our stockist Michelle, at Serendipity House LLC doing this😊 ua-cam.com/video/RutMyji5bzw/v-deo.html
Wait...it sounds like the INLAY is embedded in the paint you put down...NOT the fabric. Am I wrong?
Yes, the inlay is paint and is embedded into the wet paint that you place it in. Then they will dry together and become one painted piece🙌🤗
How do you store and how long can they store for please?
Hi Milagros! When you first purchase your inlay, you really can store it anywhere as long as it's not sitting somewhere in extreme temperatures. After your first use, you could store it in a plastic storage bin, or you could try putting it back into it's original packaging. Really anywhere as long as it won't get wet or anything like that😊

Hi Kelli! Great question! It will slightly transfer that blue paint onto your next project!
Hi, Can IOD PAINT INLAY be used on milk paints?
Hi Joan! Yes, you can totally use milk paint with paint inlays! The drying time just might be a little different than if you used chalk paint❤

Goodness girls, you sure have some interesting hair dos. Everytime I see you I'm not sure it's the same woman. 🤣😂
