Thanks for the tutorial. After lots of attempts I’ve found using the inlay in a clear top coat gives the best result if you don’t want a wrinkly finish. I also lightly spray the paint side first.
Hi BJ, i have seen a couple "paint inlay" videos. Yours is best because you showed all the different paint inlay styles and gave the tips!!!! Thank you. Inlays seem to have grown!!!! And it looks so real. It is real! I also loved that you used "dark and decrepit" paint instead of wax or glaze products to give your piece the 'shadows". Thank you. I have been doing this myself, but the pressure was to buy other stuff. Ha, ha.
Amazing that we can use it multiple times!? How many times ya think we can stretch it. I know it's gonna fade more and more each time ❤️ thank u for sharing
Hi there Where can you buy inlays please? I have only found IDO and they only have 10 designs that I could find. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Loving your work by the way! From sally in the uk😊
Hi Sally. IOD is the only company that makes paint inlays. IOD developed and brought this concept to market. In addition to the current designs there will be two additional designs released sometime in February as part of the 1st quarter release.
Fab fab fab....your ideas are so amazing. Am so glad I've found your chanel. I cant believe that beautiful wall you showed us at the end of the video. Is that all done with the IOD Chatue transfers? I have old fitted wardrobes in my bedroom that I want to re-vamp..and want that look.. .x
Thank you for your nice words. The wall at the end is in fact the Chateau paint inlay. I didn’t do that one. It is a promo pic from IOD. I bet your wardrobes would loo amazing like that!
really cute name!
I am loving the new paint inlays. Your piece looks just like old tiles.
The inlays are pretty cool!

Great video! More please😊
I'm trying! 😊
Absolutely love how that bench came out!! Love the video too! ♥️
Glad you like it! Thank you
Great tutorial. And now I want to try one.
Go for it! They are really cool
Thanks BJ! I’m getting ready to do a project with this inlay and really like the d & d. 💕
I don't use the D&D all that often but it's nice to work with and it's perfect for an aged effect.
So happy to see your video! As always…super informative with a multitude of products and techniques! Gorgeous project!!!💗
Thank you so much!
That Moroccan blue tone inlay is gorgeous. How many imprints have you gotten out of it? And if used all up now your probably bored of it! lol!
I haven’t used it again yet but saved the sheets. I did get about three impressions from the Paradise Inlay.

I can comfortably say you can use it two times. I am sure you could also squeak out a third time but it is pretty faint at that point.

Are there any airpockers or is the bench just unlevel
There are no air pockets. What you are seeing is the uneven wood that I started with
