I love how forgiving the paint is, how you don’t have to be so be to exact with the paper. Two, three applications mind blowing. Job well done ladies!!!!
These Transfers look beautiful! I thought they were too expensive for me because they're $86.00 per pack here in Melbourne, Australia, but really they're well worth the price because you get 8 large sheets of the Transfers. I love how you can wet the paint and rework it, in fact I love everything by IOD.
This reminds me of tissue paper transfers used for pottery (wet stage, before firing) - the design is painted on the paper with paint and is released onto the surface when water is applied to the front. Really cool to see you using it for furniture too.
This grandmother loves you both.. im so excited for these new things coming out ..rub ons, were popular way back in my grandmother's day ..there were cherries 🍒 like this on cabinet doors and other things..your creations have evolved for a whole newer generation of crafters with amazing talents !
WoW! I've been gone from your channel for a hot minute & am thrilled by all the excitement here on your new pain inlays, their versatility & re-use. You both look great! Thank you.
How ingenious is this! I hope you will be offering more motifs than just these flowers as I’m a boho kind of gal and like your rub on transfers, just not funky enough for me. I’d like to see pretty paisleys and lotus flowers and Indian elephant designs. Any chance I will. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰
Oh. Em. Gee. I’m mesmerized!! That second application has me ***Swooning*** for REAL!!! Wow… y’all have outdone yourselves!! LOVE. LOVE. LOVE!!!!!! Can’t wait to try it!! ♥️♥️♥️
WOW! I saw this in one of your videos within the past couple of weeks. I was thinking “what the heck was that”. Such a tease. Miraculous! You blow me away with your creativity! Congratulations. ❤️
I love, love this concept! I think this is a wonderful idea! I have so many projects I didn’t have ideas to make them special, now I do! I love all of your products. Quality is the only way to describe them, best on the market! Heading to my stockiest next week, can’t wait to try both of these! You go ladies you are the best designers, I feel like we are partners in creating beautiful things!
Absolutely amazing! Great how-to video! Beautiful, vibrant colors, forgiving, not too complicated. I can't imagine what you two lovely and creative ladies will come up with next!
WOW!! This is def a really cool way to apply a new technique to projects!! I so can’t wait to see when my stockist gets it!!! Thanks gals….you truly are totally innovative in your thinking and approach to ‘creative’!!! LOVE ❤️ ❤️👏🏻😍
I just love this as someone who decoupage's almost all of my projects. I would love to give this a go. However, I live in the UK and it's impossible to find a stockists. I've been looking for your other products. Do you have anyone over here that stocks your goodies? In the mean time, I continue to watch your amazing creations xx

@@IronOrchidDesigns Great but how about in Greece? I am dying to use this & the transfers as well as your gorgeous moulds & stamps. The cost of postage from the U.S. makes it impossible to order. And since July, we have to pay customs duties on everything that comes from outside the European Union& that now includes the U.K. 😱😱. We love watching your vids and all your products but it is almost torture knowing we can not buy them in the E.U. 😢😢😢😢😢
Looking forward to using this beautiful new product! Question- can this be used on canvas, and with other media, I.e., moulds, transfers applied over the inlay?
Hi Pamela! Very late response on our end, so I'm sure you've got your answer, BUT they can be used on canvas! You will want to seal it before trying to add anything over top of it though😊❤
Wonderful video! Thank you for including so many examples and answering a lot of questions I know I would’ve had! 😊 I hope I get to try these, I love mixed media projects and seeing how many different effects products can give and these will surely not disappoint!
Oh my goodness. This is so very cool! Can’t wait to try this! Can these be used on other surfaces? Also, you say chalk style paint, if you use mineral paint (say Fusion for example) will that work as well?
Hi there! So sorry for the late response. People have had success using the paint inlays with different types of paint, just be sure to check that dry time! Chalk type paints can stay on longer past the dry time, but others it's usually best to pull shortly after it's fully dry. You may have already tried, but just in case you haven't yet🤗❤
My mind just exploded with ideas!! Very, very excited!! Love, new love of my life!! ❤❤❤❤ Question.....I love using crakle, then I go back in with DECREPIT dust......what stage do you apply it? I usually use it, as a next to last step. The wrinkles, would add great character, just in my opinion. Love it all!!
@@IronOrchidDesigns after I ddcoupage, and its dried, I use crackle medium, ap ppl Lyon as little heat, so it will crack, then I use a dry brush and put decrepit dust on it, swirl it around so it gets in the cracks. It doesn't change the color. Just gives a vintage feel. When all that is DC one, I use a spray sealant. I'm just curious if I use it the same here as I usually do, next to last step.
This is really cool!! Wonder if I can use this on fabric? I am thinking to paint my dining chair seat. If we can use it for fabric can you pls show us a video. Thank you for sharing...
Beautiful! Can it be used over mineral paint? Is the 50/50 top coat spray step necessary or can we just wait until the next day and brush on the top coat?
Hi Girls. Love your videos.. I recently purchased these paint inlays. I finished my little unit a few weeks ago. So today I went to protect with a top coat from Frenchic and it started to smudge.. Why do you think this is happening. ? Many thanks Angela xx
Hi Angela! The paint is active until it is sealed! We recommend adding your top coat to a spray bottle and giving it a little spritz before brushing it on so it doesn't smudge. Hope that helps!!❤
Thank you for the great video! I paint a lot of decorative finishes so I'm disappointed to see I would have to add paint before I could add the inlay. Is there any way around not adding that coat of paint before placing the inlay? Maybe adding clear coat and then placing it so it imbeds into the clear coat? Thanks again!
Hi Josie, do you remember the old iron on designs used in embroidery? Why dont you do something like that so that people can paint in their own colours? I would absolutely love that.
Yes, I do remember Barbara and you've got our number... stay tuned for more Inlay designs to come... so you can say "I told you so!" Big hugs to you creative lady!
Thks. Very informative. This reminds me of the little Cracker Jack box. Small tattoos. We would lick or wet our arms then hold that lil tattoos on. Wah LA WE THOUGHT WE HAD TATOOS. LOL
Please come out with designs that have room to create a picture like your transfer. These are lovely kind to a wallpaper effect. I'm sure you'll create more of an art piece design paper to cut out portions to make a composition like the transfers. You guys are genius.
I guess as long as a surface has paint on it to grab to it can be used on many surfaces? Ex. Clear coast on glass. Now we can do mirrors or windows with design on back side to protect image. Would that sound doable?
Hi girls. Hope you are well, I just painted a piece of furniture with Annie Sloan SILK paint and want to know if I can do an INLAY using silk paint. Help please. Thanks. Diane ❤
Hi Diane! Yes! You can use silk paint, just be sure to read the drying time and be cautious with how long you leave the inlay on the paint. You may want to pull it right before it's fully dry🤗❤
I tried this on the lid of a galvanized pail on top of Champagne Pink Dixie Belle paint. OMG what a mess. I will be sanding it down and starting over again with hand painted roses. I may try again on something with a flat surface.
I would be very interested in this product if the paint went all the way on the furniture, instead of just partially on. Would more water or pressure make all of the paint stay on the furniture instead of so much being pulled off when removing the paper?
I love how forgiving the paint is, how you don’t have to be so be to exact with the paper. Two, three applications mind blowing. Job well done ladies!!!!
