Kept it relatively affordable, nice color and it sounds great. Yea that little rev on a cold engine is cringe, but you'll have to do that hundreds of times to even worry about internal damage. The engine oil is ticker when cold so it moves slower and isn't able to lube the engine properly at higher rpms, hence dry cylinders = friction = damage. applies to anything with a internal combustion engine.

Modern engines will barely get any extra wear from revving them cold. Modern oils and oil clearances do wonders, it's not the 60s any more. And most modern cars are programmed to not let you do something that would damage them.
