I found out about his stuff just very recently also. A few weeks. The guy is goooooood! He reminded me of Warren and then minutes later I come to find out Warren is his producer!
AmericangirlKim actually Dan from The Black Keys I think is the one who signed Marcus King Band but who cares who it was thank goodness for amazing music still being made! RIP Allman Brothers Band!
Warren flicks down to the bridge and kicks it up a notch....then at 3:15 Jack, Marcus & Stephen shift that shit into overdrive!!!! Best of MKB so far. Keep it up, SC Boys!
I don't think Warren would have played louder on purpose, in fact I bet they were both playing about the same level on stage. I think the front of house or monitor mixer was to blame. At the end they're almost balanced.
Yes, Marcus is very good,...but, Warren out of respect for being a guest on stage throttled back on his playing.Have you ever seen Warren play this live with the Allman Brothers Band? I have several times and when he is in his element with the Brothers playing through his own gear it will make the hair on your head stand on end. There is nothing like seeing the ABB live when Duane Allman, Dickey Betts and Barry Oakley were with the group. However, over the last 3 or so decades when Dickey Betts, Dan Toler, Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks have all contributed it is difficult to match that intensity on stage. The chemistry between the original line up is just flat out near impossible to recreate. Having said that I do very much admire the talent of Marcus King.
Damn I love me some Warren Haynes but while Warren seems to be having some technical difficulties Marcus is just playing his ass off and keeping the groove going which any gigging musician knows is exactly what your supposed to do......
Does anybody have any killer, concise advice on vibrato technique? I've got strong hands and solid rhythm, but my vibrato technique just comes out awkward as hell lol
The Russians or maybe a Fanatic Govt Mule fan hacked King's amp. Its a conspiracy. Just joking. But....King is burning it up and the camera is on Haynes while he tries to remember how to adjust the volume on a Les Paul and an electric guitar amp.One of his 3 guitar techs must have been busy
This is great , but I think it would’ve been better if they would have had the mix right - Warren Haynes’ guitar is a bit too loud over Marcus’ - at first , but it sounds like they blend it in a bit better towards the end
What's up with Marcus constantly sliding up to the nut and back down again? He's doing it far far too much. To the point that it's seriously like "dude what are you doin??? 🤷" Nobody slides up to the nut that often.
Man, Warren is getting HUGE right at the age where carrying that kind of weight can set you to blowing valves and shorting out. There's enough MEAT up there to make four guitar players! Didn't these guys ever hear of drug abuse?
It is an art form, not a contest or race. Listen and appreciate the live music by the whole band. What ever the minor flaws this was and excellent performance by the entire band.
I love the allman bros band but i guess they all can’t be hits. This is not for public consumption, it seems more to me as a showcase for how these awesome guitars players can make non musical songs with useless phrasing.
Really really liking the Marcus King Band. One new follower right here,
I found out about his stuff just very recently also. A few weeks. The guy is goooooood! He reminded me of Warren and then minutes later I come to find out Warren is his producer!
Derek Jolliffe Yeah he's good Reminding me of nobody really, He doe's his own thing imho. he'll be around for a while.
Don't remind you at all of Warren? Either way, we agree this guy can play!
I worked a private show that Marcus King and band played - they were amazing , and he’s a real down to earth great guy
The way Marcus is chopping on those rhythms, it reminds me of The Great Terry Kath.
Uncle Warren found himself a" diamond in the ruff" to sign...sweet gig!! Truly talented!!
AmericangirlKim actually Dan from The Black Keys I think is the one who signed Marcus King Band but who cares who it was thank goodness for amazing music still being made! RIP Allman Brothers Band!
@@CardiffCaliSea Nope, Dan has Marcus’s solo material on easy eye sound. Warren was the one who got Marcus on Evil Kid records with his first album.
@@mrmapegothe13th really good to know idk why but that makes more sense:)
Killin it !! Both of them ! Thank you Warren for finding this guy !!
He plays the Bros music so goddamn good he’s a genius
Good Ol' Down Home Country Jazz-Rock!
That young Marcus King Cat reminds me of The GREAT Terry Kath.
Ridiculously rad
Best in the world, and a damn good time doing it.
Hey Marcus!! Hey Warren!!! Thank you, for being Marcus...... thank you, for being Warren.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Warren flicks down to the bridge and kicks it up a notch....then at 3:15 Jack, Marcus & Stephen shift that shit into overdrive!!!! Best of MKB so far. Keep it up, SC Boys!
never compare,it's all beautiful!?!
Jack Ryan! One of my favorite drummers! that kid is a monster :) lol
I want Mr. Marcus to play MY shanking’ rhythms he is the man ! Of course Warren kicks ass as usual
Very best music long live
thanks warren for giving me thing i learned today. markus & band rock!
it just flows!! luvin MKB !!
Marcus is burning that down
Love it !!!
I miss Greg Allman
his voice especially 😢
COOL 👍👏♥️
I wonder what was going through Warren's mind when Marcus lit the fucking stage on fire with that solo at the 2 min mark
Nothing, because he couldn't hear Marcus.Maybe Mr. Haynes should have dialed in his rig before they started the song
I don't think Warren would have played louder on purpose, in fact I bet they were both playing about the same level on stage. I think the front of house or monitor mixer was to blame. At the end they're almost balanced.
That was barely a spark. You couldn't even hear it.
Marcus needs his guitar turned up in every live clip I see of him
What was the guy with the fender shirt at 3:13 doing there? Looks out of place in this gibson maniac freakshow, which I absolutely love
Probably just there to school the uneducated that without Fender, there would be no Gibson Les Paul or SG.
Jmaccxx ??
He's probably a Bass player! Gibson basses won't hang with a Fender.
damn good recording
Man that was good. Even though the mix wasn't great we all know who killed it.
Great performance. Mix is great if you love rhythm guitar.
Not even. You mean mix is great if you love not hearing rythym guitar. Warren was drowning him out big time.
Woah.
KID, YA GOIN PLACES..LIKE...STRAIGHT TO THE DAMN TOP...DON'T GIVE IT UP, DON'T GIVE IN..LET YER FINGERS DO YER TALKIN!!!!
Say what you want, but close your eye and not know who plays and youll realize Marcus plays circles around warren
He's going to be a household name in a few years...mark my words. Marcus my words.
sanfranman242001 that is a bit much. I love both of these musicians but in MY opinion, no one comes close to Warren.
Yes, Marcus is very good,...but, Warren out of respect for being a guest on stage throttled back on his playing.Have you ever seen Warren play this live with the Allman Brothers Band? Damn!
wish we could hear the hornz....
Damn I love me some Warren Haynes but while Warren seems to be having some technical difficulties Marcus is just playing his ass off and keeping the groove going which any gigging musician knows is exactly what your supposed to do......
Is Marcus a Haynes offspring?
I am just asking
lol
Does anybody have any killer, concise advice on vibrato technique?
I've got strong hands and solid rhythm, but my vibrato technique just comes out awkward as hell lol
bend d strings like wawawawa
It's in the wrist
Nice jam what about the additional 25min
I think Santana belonged here too. It fits so well
:)
I didn't know Zack Galifinakis was such a good drummer!!
what about mister tambourien man
hehehe, Warren. He was thinking "the song is definitely shorter than this..." "It's not like we used to do...."
Glad to see the torch bearers tho.
You must be kidding me!!!!
Super Reverbs.
Jesus was at the helm on the soundboard that day? I like the mix ........Good Lord, great job!!
Jesus, turn DOWN Warren's guitar! He's drowning out everyone else!
i don't have any problem hearing everyone in this video.
The Russians or maybe a Fanatic Govt Mule fan hacked King's amp. Its a conspiracy. Just joking. But....King is burning it up and the camera is on Haynes while he tries to remember how to adjust the volume on a Les Paul and an electric guitar amp.One of his 3 guitar techs must have been busy
you can tell in a major way warren is WAY LOUD.its beyond over the top of the whole stage.
Actually, for the most part, Warren is not too loud, Marcus` amp is turned way too low for the mix.
James Brady its warrens guitar. mix sucks
This is great , but I think it would’ve been better if they would have had the mix right - Warren Haynes’ guitar is a bit too loud over Marcus’ - at first , but it sounds like they blend it in a bit better towards the end
Or maybe, just maybe the mix on his guitar too loud and Marcus too quiet ?
Geez, don't bust your gasket over a Video
Marcus needed to turn up a little?
even haynes is lookin...what da
Waren kann man noch für 50 Euro im Konzert bewundern E C für 500
mixer guy wants his ears and hands choppin orf
🍎 🍑🍎🍑🍎🍑🍎🍑🍎
is it just me or Warren lost a bit of weight? haha, not poking fun, I love warren
too bad the sound engineer didn't know what he was doing here.
Too bad the mix is...mixed up
Not bad….
What's up with Marcus constantly sliding up to the nut and back down again? He's doing it far far too much. To the point that it's seriously like "dude what are you doin??? 🤷" Nobody slides up to the nut that often.

Warren is too loud in the mix
Warren definitely seems to think he’s the center of attention. Marcus is a way better guitarist ( and singer).
you know i should answer this but im not wasting my time
Yeah me either
It is an art form, not a contest or race. Listen and appreciate the live music by the whole band. What ever the minor flaws this was and excellent performance by the entire band.
stay away from Root insurance company. A. I. surveillance while you drive is not worth any amount of money.

marcus is the king warren is his student
Maybe you shouldn't comment on something you don't comprehend ..
idiotic comment
ed dun warren is overrated
@@mercedesbentley5205 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Warren ruined it. Way too loud, mic hog.
These men are dynamite musos but they need to watch their cholesterol.
Great performance. Horrible mix.
