MEAT YOU WILL BE GRATEFULLY MISSED,YOUR TALENT, YOUR VOICE ,AND YOUR PASSION.YOU HAVE GIVEN TO US ONLY WHAT MEAT LOAF CAN POSSIBLY GIVE AND THAT IS PERFECTION ....R.I.P. SLEEP WELL MY FRIEND.
I fell for ML almost 50 years ago. He still rocks my old lady heart. I was crushed when he passed. Even up to his last days he was empowered by his muse.😢
When I was stationed in Germany 1984-1985 I was lucky enough to see DEEP PURPLE, MOUNTAIN AND MEATLOAF AND IT WAS AWESOME.. He was a great musician and entertainer. He gave it his all at all of his concerts. He loved his fans. He is greatly missed and his music still lives on today.
Every song of his has its own energy and life of it own he put his heart n soul in his music n performance RIP meatloaf well done n well missed still a fan but hits different now , prayers to his family and friends
I'm 15 years old and I'm a huuuge fan of him. His music is the best and most brilliant, I've ever heard. He got music for every mood and situation and he gives every of his songs his own touch wich no one else can. That is what makes me fall in love with his music, art and even with his person. Thanks to my dad who showed me my first meatloaf song. Meat Loaf's music connects us so much and it means so much to me. ❤️
What a great music. It makes me young again. Rest in peace Marvin. You help me through that terrible Christmas. I play it every morning and feel fit! Thank you.
Nur für ihn und immer wieder nur für ihn, würd ich so gern die verdammte Zeit zurückdrehen können! Mit ihm nahm Gott mir einen grossen Teil meines Herzen und lies mich auf ewig blutend zurück!
Have listened to Meatloaf since the early 1980’s and have had copies of “Bat Out Of Hell” on Vinyl, cassette, and CD. His music was irreplaceable. His backing singers on this video are Patti Russo and his daughter Pearl Aday. All a musical theatrical masterpiece
Love love love this man !!!! A true Legend ! Why is he not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ? He is , was and always will be my favorite. So happy I was able to see him live many times but also makes me sad I will never get the opportunity to see him again.😢 What a legend !!! 💘💘💘
If meatloaf isn't in the RnR hall of fame, The hall of fame has become a joke. A very bad joke. The"RnR hall of fame" has inducted genres/bands that aren't even Rock and Roll. That's pitiful.
saw a GREAT/rare documentary on him. (told from his point of view) he was so much more insightful than you at 1st would think. he will be missed forever
love the way the orchestra just looks like they are having a great time, flinging their hair, moving with the music. Heard Paradise my freshman year in college (1977-78), same year I saw Rocky Horror for the first time. Been a huge fan ever since. And I just love Patti Russo. Meatloaf's music will entertain people for a very long time. Thanks for posting this!
Have adored Meat Loaf since I heard You took the words right out of my mouth n was lucky to see him in the 80’s n 90’s when he was a masterful singer, performer n showman. Took my 10 yr old nephew to c him too, his first concert n his school friends were SO envious
I've met Meatloaf, and he's a wonderful person..... That sad...I cry watching that because Patti Russo was so Much a part of the Magick he made, almost as much as Jim Steinman was......when he cut her loose, it just wasn't the same... None of the singers he's toured with can hold a candle, and Patti made Him that much better......it makes me sad..
Ryan, you need to watch the interview he did with Dan Rather, it's here on YT. HE NEVER let anyone call him a star, superstar, or legend. He said he's "just a guy with a different job than the plumber",lol. The blonde backup singer is his daughter, very pretty. I have always listened to him and always will. Goodbye and God Bless.
I'm old enough to to have been a fan of Meatloaf from day one and I've loved his later career when he went philharmonic & operatic in his performances. In all my years there's been allot of incredible music but very best in no specific order has to be , Paradise by the dashboard light, Bohemian Rhapsody, and stairway to heaven. There's been a few other close ones but ?.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I needed to hear these songs together. The first of many songs that we both loved. I love you Dan now forever and always.

This reminds me of a quote Meatloaf said about Jim Steinman songs, "You don't sing a Jim Steinman song; you live a Jim Steinman song"
What a Showman!!! NBL
The orchestra, band, Meat and the very talented female singer (so sorry I don’t m is your name) ar spot on ❤❤

Look at how the orchestra is rocking out to this.
REALLY enjoying their jobs.
I fell for ML almost 50 years ago. He still rocks my old lady heart. I was crushed when he passed. Even up to his last days he was empowered by his muse.😢
An unfortunate bucket list miss;(
I can only imagine the rush these performers (Meat) get with the fabulous accompaniment! RIP my brother !

Never listened to Meat Loaf until I stumbled upon this performance. This man is a powerhouse. Instant fan for life.
It was short

After your comment, I become just your fan🔥😅😁😍🌈🌈🌈🦄🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I was about 15 when he came out and I have loved his music for the 45 years since. I listen to him all the time.
He only sang the wonderful songs Jim Steinman wrote. Don't get pulled into the flashy showmanship. Make sure you know who's work you like
Great taste 👌😎
@@drusuph i know...rip jim steinman...
What a great music. It makes me young again. Rest in peace Marvin. You help me through that terrible Christmas. I play it every morning and feel fit! Thank you.

Yes he does!!
This is my favorite song for this band. 2021 still listening.
She is so frigging pulchritudinous!!

Watching this to remember the sheer brilliance of the one and only Meat Loaf. Rest in peace man you’ll be missed.
Nur für ihn und immer wieder nur für ihn, würd ich so gern die verdammte Zeit zurückdrehen können! Mit ihm nahm Gott mir einen grossen Teil meines Herzen und lies mich auf ewig blutend zurück!

Meat loaf and Jim Steinmann were both legendary 🙂
I love that he ALWAYS incorporated the big band/orchestra instruments to his rock songs.. before TSO did...he was groundbreaking!

If meatloaf isn't in the RnR hall of fame,

A very bad joke.
The"RnR hall of fame" has inducted genres/bands that aren't even Rock and Roll.
That's pitiful.
What a wonderful performance. 👏
This is what talent and showmanship looks like. No backing track or auto tune. Kids of today take note.
Patti Russo & Meat Loaf...GOD ...what a duo 💗💗
wauw machtig mooi
Today is a sad day. Rip Jim Steiman 🙏 Thanks for the Magic
Amen Brother, he will be missed

Just amazing, just love it. Now that’s music.
And it’s ten times better than it was yesterday!

2121 Still a super súper fan! From Argentina 🇦🇷
In 2121, you, me, everyone in the comments and even UA-cam will be dead, but Meat Loaf's music will be still sounding somewhere on the planet.
Can say what you want... be he oooozes talet... and the chemistry between two just explodes on stage with passion..
I saw MeatLoaf at a local NJ CLub back in the 1990s... the most Incredible solo Entertainer i have ever seen Live....
Thank you, Meat! Brought me back form the edge of darkness again. You have no idea the influence your music has, what a voice!!
I've met Meatloaf,and he's a wonderful person..... agreed
She is magnificent.
There will never be anyone else like Meat. Saw him live in 2007 in Howell NJ. I am 69 years old and will remember it forever
I’m assuming you meant Holmdel NJ. I assure you the only Meatloaf in Howell NJ is at the Boston Market on Route 9.
Yes you are correct. I meant Holmdel, NJ. I will check out that Boston Market!
Meatloaf had the voice, Jim Steinman had the words. Two great MEGA LEGENDS!!! RIP to both of them. ❤️
They are together again still rocking out!❤ thank you meatloaf four singing the anthems of our youth and Beyond! We miss you always❤
True. But this song and "Anything For Love" also hinge on the strength and presence of the partner singer. And Patti certainly has power and presence.
Damn his voice was on point here. RIP, till we meet again legend.
