Guides for concepts would be fantastic. Stealth (and thievery and assassination), combat, health and damage, diplomacy and reputation, slavery, trade cultures and prices, weather effects and how to mitigate or use them as a benefit, you could do tons of guides.
I think I could make Kenshi guides for all of 2024, but I would hate to burn out on that. When I look at how much time I've played Kenshi, I can't help but think, "I could do this forever. That's kind of terrifying." lol
Hope to see you get big one day! Started playing Kenshi because I bought it on sale last winter sale absolutely loving it. Your videos also helped me out a lot when I started out.
I'm really glad you are trying different things (streaming) and will begin doing videos of different games. I think its really important for a content creatore to keep doing something interesting, something they like, but something that keeps the audience growing too. Becuase its important for you to keep doing this, you need to feel fulfilled by your audience and the video you make. So looking forward to 2024! (Sorry for the bad english btw)
I think sticking to games that are similar to kenshi and maybe do streams or making a second channel for like play through or just gaming with the homies. Love your stuff, keep it up
I'm approaching day 700 in my current Kenshi save. I have 41 people, 8 dogs, 4 bulls, and 2 Garru. Their stats generally range from 50-70 and have been spending a lot of time in Greyshelf and Royal Valley to train everybody up. The biggest problems I have are food and dealing with an incredible abundance of enemies (I play 4x squad spawns 1.5 population multiplier). I think guides regarding logistics and non-cheese training strategies at different level ranges would be both incredibly useful and unique in the Kenshi community. This was my strategy for Greshelf and The Royal Valley. In general, I've found building outposts with nothing but 2 hive huts, bedrolls, and basic storage around the world incredibly useful as buildings break line of sight to keep enemies from agroing on you and are of no consequence if you have to abandon them. Doing this allows me to rotate combat squads in shifts. One squad stands outside fighting until they can't while a full fresh squad is ready for when the other squad needs to heal up for a few days. For food I stuff my packs with all the food I can produce in Shem then travel to my Bonefields outpost. I fill up any leftover space in character inventories with raw meat. This usually weighs the whole party down a little bit but it's a minor stat debuff. This is actually a good thing. Debuffs in Kenshi allow you to train more effectively due to how exp is gained based on the atk/def of your opponents relative to your effective stats after buffs and debuffs, not your base stats (as far as I understand). From the Bonefields I travel into an outpost I made right on the build line of the main Southern hive and settled in for squashing ants. After 30 in game days every single person in the party had significantly increased their combat stats and not a single person was ever close to dying.
Thank you for the suggestions! I do prefer to use non-cheese strategies whenever possible. I could see some skill guides being a good fit for the channel.
Just play what you like my dude. The reason your Kenshi videos are popular is because they cover stuff that other channels didn't cover. If you do the same for other games it will probably be popular. As for games Kenshi players enjoy, as long as it got story generator elements it'll be a hit I imagine. Dwarf Fortress, Rimworld, Zomboid, Mount and Blade, etc. Maybe even some more niche roguelikes like CDDA or UNreal World.
I would like to see some indepth guids on mabe hidden/rare Bounties / Loot / Locations in Kenshi. And A Diplomatic Guide - Mabe take a look at all factions? Pro/Cons - Like allying with Shek gives you a rare Follower etc.. And for change mabe in 1-2 Weeks a PZ video or mabe Rimworld. But i would recommand that you also make there a lot of guide Videos. I think that would help to have like a "thing" going on - so one mostly knows what they will be getting by subscribing. Than youre kenshi viewers could kinda join in on lets say PZ with a Guide video.
Hey mate your content is great. dont feel like you need to explain your self or be slotted into kenshi, hell you dont even have to do gaming content at the end of the day if you start now doing lots of different content you wont get burnt out and doing your hobby wont become a job keep it up mate best of luck
Paul do you plan on making a kenshi playthrough where you try to start an early game base? Your knowledge about base building suits a playthrough with this idea.
It's possible. I think a playthrough is more feasible now that most area guides are done. To give some background info, I have different guides coming out this/next month, and I want to see how they do before I commit to the next big project.
You can branch out into mount and blade, hoi4, pz, rim world, cdda, really anything that has squad management or deep game mechanics (Great channel btw)
I think I've played Wartales! It got lost in sauce because of Kenshi things but I like the level of immersion it has, traveling with a small group just trying to make their own way.
dont you dare quit making kenshi vids before kenshi 2 comes out. im gonna need you to break new ground and tell me how to get by in Shunk when there's only the raptor rancher hut to sell my siltbark to

Couldn't agree more, even things like defensive builds for bases and general combat, all that could still be covered
There is indeed overlap between Kenshi and PZ enjoyers, me amongst them. Glad to hear that PZ might be coming to your channel aswell!
Great! I've been loving PZ so far
Hope to see you get big one day! Started playing Kenshi because I bought it on sale last winter sale absolutely loving it. Your videos also helped me out a lot when I started out.
Glad you're enjoying Kenshi! It's definitely my all time favorite.

ur quickly became one of my favorite youtubers, I will stay here no matter the game now
Thank you for the kind words. 🙏
Your support is appreciated
If you're not opposed to tier list content, I'd love to see a "Game Start Tierlist." Ranking all the the different starts in Kenshi
Huzzah! (Nothing else to say, have a good New Year!)

THE PITS, NOW! FOR THE CRABS!
I also enjoy both PZ and kenshi, along with rimworld which I love so much that I mod it
Glad to hear that! You'll probably like the new stuff on the channel in 2024 then. Rimworld definitely on my "hit" list too.

Don't feel pressured into specializing only into a single game

i would like to see you play Exanima

Where's the top 10 hottest ~~shek~~ waifu video???
You could cover Project Kathun or the Clone Wars addon for it?
Uwww, good idea!
Definetly wouldn’t hate seeing Project zomboid or semi similar games like Wartales and the like.
I think I've played Wartales! It got lost in sauce because of Kenshi things but I like the level of immersion it has, traveling with a small group just trying to make their own way.
do all of them or no prostetics
and then all again on UWE :^)

Kenshi never ends! No worries. I hope your siltbark industry flourishes.
