Hello and welcome to a special episode of the youngfolk knits podcast. Today I’m going to take you through an entire project - from cast on to cast off - while I make the Sheer V sweater designed by Jessie Mae. I’ll also be reviewing some gifted Hobbii yarn. Oh my goodness …Love Love this on you. It does seem it was a dream to knit as well to wear. It looks fabulous on you. I really enjoyed the in-depth talk about this knit. As well I plan to look at the site you purchased the beautiful yarn from. Thank you for sharing all the facts. When one knits a pleasurable piece you just get all the happy feels. Looking for similar feels with next project. ( like a good book). I do like to journal my Daily Devotional - Bible Study as it is helpful to refer to. I best do this with my knitting as the “ little sticky notes” I do use are falling out of my binder…. Looks a mess. Just thank you for this most enjoyable time today watching you ! Take care.

This sweater has been on my radar for awhile, and seeing yours renews my interest in it - it's SO gorgeous! Yours fits and looks just beautiful on you... I've been wanting to order from Hobbii for awhile now. As I was watching your video (on my laptop) I put the Hobbii app on my phone because I've been hearing about their Monday Bingo - what fun right? So now I have more than a few things in my Hobbii cart LOL - thank you for your inspiring video - sometimes seeing someone complete a project from start to finish is just what we all need for knitting motivation :)

I’m just catching up on your episodes just now. I really enjoyed the format of this episode (I love all your eps), and found it super interesting to follow the project from start to finish, and hear your thoughts about all aspects.
And I have to say, when you put the finished product on, I gasped and said out loud to no one, “Oh! That’s so pretty!!” It’s a gorgeous, feminine pattern, and I’ve been tempted to knit it up, too. After seeing you in yours, I think I’m going to have to add this to my cue. :)

LisaR: Love your finished Sheer V ! It's what I'm working on now and think I'll do same as you did with sleeves:) lesson learned about the alpaca also ( I left mine in project bag a week and some stitches slipped off needles- yikes! Agree , Hobbii has nice alpaca !

I used the alpaca blaze to make laura penrose's souffle earlier in the year and absolutely loved it. It's so hard to find a decent affordable suri or mohair and finding hobbii was a blessing
You've got me sold. The sweater is so pretty and looks so pretty on you. I'm a 2x as well and like the look with a skirt as that's all I can wear due to a disability.

Hello from Mounds Illinois. I have purchased from Hobbii several times, I just received another order from them, my orders comes from Denmark and sometimes it takes a little longer for me to receive it. You could knit the Love Note in that yarn. WOW! Love your sweater and the fit is perfect. You did an awesome job knitting it. I have some of the same yarn in a different color after I finish the Love Note that I am knitting for my granddaughter, I might knit the sweater that you knitted.

I like to use Suri as a substitute - so
I like this Hobbii Alpaca Blaze, I’ve used cumulus from cyberspates and also farmers daughterfibers oh dang. I like them all!
