Loved sending you something! Glad you had fun!
Thanks so much for sending them in! We appreciate it! 😁
Thank for supporting my grandparents business !
Love watching Callyann trying new things that she likes, it's like watching a newborn reacting to something for the first time, full of excitement and joy !
"To be clear: This isn't good, but I like it." Bláithín encapsulates the history of Mountain Dew.
For us Dew-heads, it's not about the flavor, it's about the sensation of that first big gulp of Dew as it burns the throat on the way down. DO THE DEW! RAH! RADICAL!
It's bad, I don't like it. Stuff makes me literally throw up.
Every decade or so, I try it again. I love citrus flavors, so the alleged lemon-lime flavor draws me in. Then the first sip reminds me why I haven't had it for so long.
@@arjaygee It is objectively terrible. But some of us are addicted in ways that cannot be explained by science. I don't begrudge you your opinion.
The dichotomy that is beautiful Bla.
Love watching Callyann react to something she really likes - she's like a kid tasting ice cream for the first time. So much real joy. Gártha....
Absolutely adore Laura's enthusiastic reaction to cookie crumble XD
Just a heads up, The banana candy flavor IS the original flavor of the first mass imported bananas. The strain was the Gros Michael or "Big Mike" banana, the plants got hit by a disease and it wiped out most of the crop and the current banana the Cavendish has a different flavor. You can still obtain Gros Michael but they're very specialty and usually run about 5-10 dollars US per banana.
I so want to try one of those bananas. I love banana flavored things lol
Callyann is goodness and light. 😊 I absolutely adore Laura. 😊
Including the sender's note to share with everyone is always nice.
Good pairs and variety of reactions -and I'm down for the genius of coffee toffee corn any time!
Caramel Latte is a flavor of popcorn I've seen while at Buc-cees, so it must be out there!
Okay but... They have to call it Coffee Toffee Poppee, or don't bother at all.
As a native Minnesotan, I can assuredly state that the best popcorn is from Candyland in Saint Paul. They invented the "Chicago Mix" (odd yes, that they named it Chicago mix) which is caramel, cheese and plain popcorn mixed together. The name was so popular that Garrett's in Chicago began using the name, and Candyland sued them because they had the trademark.
My husband's favorite mix of all time is the cheddar cheese and caramel and butter flavors.
Ever see the movie Red2? Where the young woman wanders around the wear house store eating this popcorn from what can only be described as a king sized pillow bag? That's the one he buys himself every time we go. 😂
But for $6.97 usd a king sized pillow case full can ya blame him 🤣.
Me I'd rather pull the old battered whirly-pop out and just make it smothered in hot butter! Lol.
What? There's no better a way to go than a butter coma right? 😊🍿🧈
I love that movie and would eat butter popcorn out of a pillowcase
@@Emeraldwitch30
Yes, and their Chicago mix is the best I’ve tasted out of several other brand attempts at the flavor combo.
Duluth mn here gotta love that lake
That’s sounds so good.
3:24 - Paddy, my father had a saying. When someone said their farts smelled like roses, he'd say, "That's not the roses. That's the fertilizer on them." He was never wrong.
The dew segment reminded me of Danny Kaye in "Court Jester", get it, got it, good.
It's an American who has drank mountain dew I would never ever say that it tasted like lemon lime.
It just tasted like chemicals. 😂😂
HR Poppin' Snacks is from Gibbon, Nebraska, not Minnesota. And as for coffee flavor, I do believe they make a Caramel Cappuccino flavor. My wife's family is from Shelton (the next town over from Gibbon) we've gotten several bags of their popcorn for Christmas over the years from them.
Callyann ALWAYS brightens my day
Bla's laugh makes everything great ... just great!
Mountain Dew was also originally created as a mixer for whiskey. It later became a popular soda and was marketed as one.
Am I crazy, or is MD supposed to be a grapefruit and lemon flavor as a posed to a lemon and lime flavor
The first popcorn was IT! Such a fun shoooooot
Yes indeed, CallyAnn! Very kind of you to offer to fly to Minnesota and tell them, “Well done.” I always appreciate you being encouraging to others, young lady. 👏🏼
Talking about cocktail popcorn, there’s a place here in Lexington, KY that makes bourbon caramel corn… it is so freaking delicious.
Love Callyann and Laura! Lovin all you guys.
Hint: You can mix popcorn flavours together. And add nuts if you like. Nicole's pigtails make her look even more adorable than usual.
Handles for this and that😉
It bears repeating: "Nicole's pigtails make her look even more adorable than usual."
@evilshogunmaster well she has admitted being in a sex club while on a trip to Berlin 😂😂😂
They paired well with the fishnet styled shirt she had on
Chupa chups also has some rather strange popcorn variants 😄
Cola is one of them, which Nicole mentioned
Callyann look lovely and Taran looks Adorable very nice smile and very pretty nails . Glad they liked must of the Minnesota Popcorn Flavors.
God, it's so cool to see Laura again, and to pair her with Taran is gold! Callyann and Blaithin is also perfect, because Cally is perpetually sunny and happy, while Blaith is brutally honest and to the point....love 'em both. Anytime Nicole is on a video she's like a pleasant dose of sweets, and Paddy is just good ole' Paddy (the male version of Callyann).
You can tell the order of filming from the popcorn level of the bag 😂
The Callyann and Bláithín outro gave me "Irish Daphne and Velma" vibes. Paddy could be Fred. I can't think of a good Shaggy, but I bet Dermot could pull off Scooby-Doo.
I call one of the Sharpsons as Shaggy
Irish Jesus would be Shaggy if he were still around.
Irish Jesus for Shaggy maybe
Jesus!!
@@jojobar5877 My thought exactly
❤ I just love you all so much! Thank you for the fun and happiness! ❤
We have this in Nebraska. There are SO MANY FLAVORS. I love the Jerk Chicken one. Smores. Spicy Nacho...
They do have wine flavors too.
Yeah, this isn't Minnesota popcorn. This was made in Nebraska. The sender bought it in Minnesota.
Love the Try channel, always very funny, interesting and has nice people who seem to get along. Also my 5 year old grandson Logan has a crush on Callieanne and Laura because "They have funny laughs and are always happy".
Try'rs, y'all rock! Love the channel and content. Peace 🤘 💥 ✌️
Hello from Minnesota, love this!
Paddy commenting that he doesn’t care for the Dew popcorn, as he continues to snack away on it. 😂
That's how Paddy rolls.
Maybe the Dew popcorn needs some Pop Rocks mixed in.
If there are any gifted animation artists in the audience, I would simply love to see these fantastic Irish Tryers to be recreated in an animated video. Especially the Lady Tryers! Maybe Colin and Sean should ask the Tryers to draw themselves in an anime style when they're locked! An animated Nicole would be more popular than Hello Kitty!
3:18 "I'm getting the slight taste of farts" I almost choked I laughed so hard.
Let me just say that Nicole's eyes are LITERALLY on point!
Very Clara Bow
I love the varied reactions to the different flavors!
Mpls mn here! Love seeing you try our stuff!!! Love this channel as a Mayo county descendent ❤
Hello from Jersey!! Love this channel and what a line up today!!!
You guys had some excitement this norning.
I've been to that store before. It's crazy large!!
You guys should do a Mt. Dew cocktail vid. OMG there are so many wonderful alcohols that mix well with Mt Dew!!! ❤❤❤
The next time you come to America, you should go to a state fair. Lots of things to try there.
7:09 Mountain Dew is Orange, Lemon and Lime. The original formulation used actual Orange Juice and was meant to be used as a Sour Mix for cocktails.
As someone who has a crippling addiction to Mtn Dew (seriously it's a problem, send help) I'm intrigued by the idea of popcornifying it, but at the same time _JESUS NO WHY_
Kind of along the lines "you were so focused if you could, you didn't think if you should" situation?
Dew finds a way.
So sayeth Dr. Malcolm Dew 😂
Must do the Dew! With 32 flavors. You have to submit.😵💫🤤
You can pop popcorn in mountain Dew over the stove. There should be videos on UA-cam or tiktok about it.
The range of reactions are entertaining.
The more I see Laura, the funnier I find her. Please keep bringing her back!
Hello to all you beautiful people!
Never stop being a kid's show, lovely Laura!!!
Callyann and Laura I love your enthusiasm! You all are so much fun to watch! ❤😂🍿
Sometime they should try the true Original mountain dew, which wasn't the soda. (for those that don't know, mountain dew first refered to moonshine made in the mountains of the Southern U.S. before being used as a name for a cocktail mixer/soda).
Callyann is looking like she needs to go on Love Island and im here for it
😂😂😂
@@callyannbrennan9624 lol get it queen. maya jama cant handle ya.
I wish that we had banana flavored cough syrup when I was growing up in the 80s/80s
The Goddess of Joy Callyanne one weakness Mountain Dew popcorn...nooo!!!
Callyanne hates mochi even more. That video almost brought me to tears watching the depth of Callyann's unhappiness.
Well I can atleast be proud of being Minnesotan after this one, and only one comment about our normal sounding accent here😁
Oh, dose people were behind the camera, dontcha know....
Paddy:
Dew. Whacka. Dew.
Your turn!
Callyann nails on point :-)
Just here to make Tryer's parents happy.
My offer to adopt Paddy still stands - living parents notwithstanding! He is adorbs!
This is my family's Popcorn shop Hr poppin snack.. it is located actually in Gibbon Nebraska. If you would like we have over a 100 different flavors to choose from..😊
4:05 "Ouagh... oh well." KILLED ME
Never thought there'd be a MN themed episode.
Oddly, there have been a few. They had Pearson’s candy, Minnesota craft beer and Keeper’s Heart whiskey. I don’t think they liked the candy or beer, but the whiskey did well.
Irish People Try Hotdish
Minnesota Salad
@@squidundertheinfluence I haven't seen that Whiskey, but for Minnesota locals, Brother Justus has a decent Single Malt whiskey that is in a cool bottle. Not sure if it's worth the $60-$65 tag, but it does make for a neat little gift. I''ll have to try the other Minnesota Whiskeys.
@@squidundertheinfluence If I remember right, they did a Pearson's candy episode without Salted Nut Rolls, lol.
Actually what you ate originated from a company in Nebraska. HR Poppin' Snacks is in Gibbon, NE. Just if you were curious.
This stuff comes from 1 miles from my house. Angie's is so close it smells like kettle corn every morning
You missed out on showing the store. You really did 20430 Johnson Memorial Dr, Jordan, MN 55352
The weird thing about the Dew popcorn being that green is that only the Mountain Dew bottles are actually that green, which is something I sometimes forget since I seldom pour the soda into a glass. But the actual soda itself, while still kind of green, has a much more yellow tint to it.
The largest candy store this popcorn came from is reasonable driving distance from the Mall of America so you can see both on your trip to the North.
There are a couple of movie theaters in Seattle that offer chocolate popcorn.
A NYC friend of mine used to insist, every time we were watching a movie in Manhattan, on getting some chocolate peanut butter drizzle corn that she always raved about (and Rosie O'Donnell did too) but I still didn't believe her... then one night I tried it it was amazing! And they had several different flavors. It was called "Dale and Thomas drizzle corn" and they don't exist anymore ...and I don't know why! 😪
I’ve said it many a time before, but it bears repeating, Nicole is one of the most adorable young ladies trodding the planet at the moment…💛
You should try snacks kids put together like peanuts in Dr. Pepper, using twizzlers as straws, a peppermint stick in a big dill pickle, dry kool-aid with sugar in a big dill pickle, cooked macaroni with sugar and ketchup, mustard sandwiches, ketchup sandwiches, banana and mayonnaise sandwiches, candy corn and Granny Smith apples, pretzel rods in soda, etc., etc., etc..
I’m kind of wishing they had done a franken popcorn bowl. That might just be the Midwest in me though. 😛 whenever there wasn’t enough of any particular flavor, just add it to the next!
popcorn so good i love it
Lets all go to Jordan, MN
OMG - Nicole, you're a GENIUS!!! YES - Coffee-Toffee (& possibly, with the added in Choco Crumble?) Popcorn SHOULD be a flavor, and it will be THE BEST one, for sure!!! Some awesome small company better make this, ASAP, before the idea gets ruined by a big corporation.
Thanks guys for the laugs you guys rock
c'mooonnn do another try trip to america. pleeeeaaassseee
Good luck unpacking, and I hope you and your boyfriend have a good time getting settled living with each other!!
Oh, geez...another popcorn video. Guess I'd better go make a bag.😂
Cora. That's such a Minnesota name. Love it.
Very interesting. I live only a few miles from the very store where they got these. While I would say that they ARE from Minnesota, I don't know if I would call them "Minnesota Popcorn" because it's not like the local eat these. But it is a hell of a store. I will say that. But hey, we'd love to have the Try Crew here for a visit. I do believe you were here in Minneapolis before, so the candy store is just in the SW suburbs. Cheers.
Hello from California!
Hello from Indiana. I miss justine.
Callyann is sooo Loovely!
Love from South Minneapolis, MN! I know where they bought these 😂
This makes me want to try these myself.😋
9:23 I got like secondhand enjoyment from them praising someone else who isn't me
Hi Try Channel. Have you ever tried The Canadian Product "Map-O-Spread?"
Wouldn't mind trying the Banana one😊
I like the faux banana flavours, and most of the others too.(not so much fake grape though)
You should try Chicago mix. 😋
Nicole!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I lived on the island of Guam for a short time and one thing that surprised me there was they liked Tabasco on popcorn. They even had bottles of Tabasco at the movie theatre for people to put it on their popcorn. I thought it was weird at first, but now I love it Tabasco flavoured popcorn 🍿
I do too, any kind of hot sauce really, Frank's especially. I picked up the habit when I was in the navy, tajin was also popular
As a Guamanian, I must confess--it's true!
Hafa Adai!!!
@@Visitor145and chili on oranges
For a while I was really into sprinkling powdered cayenne pepper on my popcorn. Fell out of that phase since, but I'm sure I'd still enjoy it.
The candy store is located on U.S. 169 in Jordan, Minnesota.
"Gorgieboo" was the name of my band in college!
There are 2 Mountain Dew at least here in Eastern Canada as I often travle to USA but the flavor of Canada Mountain Dew vs USA Mountain Dew are 2 different formulas
Most of the kids of today have no idea what Mt. Dew used to taste like before they stated making it with corn syrup . Fortunately they have brought back Dew made with Real Sugar , when you can find it .
The US mtn dew is considered an energy drink to almost every other country. Every country limits the amount of caffeine, sugar, and dyes. Not the American philosophy, it's the more the merrier
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 most Americans I think don't know real suger like Canada is made of suger cane were as in USA its Mostly Suger beats
Thank you all for the video 👍🏻
I see Callyann I click.
Watching this while drinking my third can of Mtn Dew for the day.
Clearly, they need to try all the flavors of Mountain Dew now.
What I've heard about artificial banana flavor is that the reason it doesn't taste right is that it's the flavor of the variety banana (Gros Michel) before our current banana (Cavendish). No idea if it's true. I think I heard that on the Sci Show channel. I wonder if that's the flavoring on these bananas, although the reactions were mixed.
You guys need to try the favorite 1970 candy that's still made..Pop Rocks ! They are loaded with Co-2 gas like soda and the gas makes little pops in your mouth.😁
Boom Chicka pop is actually a Minnesota popcorn band
Anyone else notice that Blaithin's top was exactly the same shade as the Mountain Dew popcorn? Also, what you do with the overly sweet popcorn flavors is mix them with plain popcorn for balance.
I'm rather vanilla about popcorn. I prefer cheesy popcorn. A nice sharp cheddar, a cheddar jalapeno, there a nice black cherry (its too sweet, but still good), 🤣 We have one that is a chocolate covered espresso bean, its a bit confusing...
Try exotic hotdogs! Rattlesnake and pheasant is a good one 😊
HR Poppin' Snacks is made in Nebraska.
* The sender found it in MN.
