Big fan of the fact that all of Justine's american accents are just Forrest Gump
That’s usually how foreigners talk about us(Americans).
@@hughfuller8416 That or California surfer/girl.
Goo Goo cluster accent was Rural Georgia male born circa 1930
Makes sense because my first thought was “she’s doing Alabama”
"Th' Try Channel's a bit lahk o'box o'choc'lits..."
As a proud Southerner from Tennessee, I must say the poor lass has an accent like a drunk Texan rather than a native of Nashville. LOL
Oof..... As a Texan in going to pass that along to the Cajuns
@@AlexaMichelle07 my apologies to the great state of Texas.
LOL same... also from Nashville, also never heard anyone speak like that BUT to be fair, if I tried to do an Irish accent best case scenario it'd probably sound like the Lucky Charms leprechaun 😂😂
As a Texan I think more likely Arkansas 🤣🤣
definitely drunk anyways...
When Justine tried to do a Nashville accent she went full-on character from Deliverance. And didn't come back.
And the Goo Goo cluster was saying "You sher do have a purty mouth."
"Can you taste the Goo Goo" was just wrong, but in a good way.
"I bet you can squeal like a marshmallow"
She did it all but squeal like a hog.
Tennessee hills😂
She shur do gotta purty mouth, doe
I love that Dermot and Justine carried the caramel thing to the end. Glad we got closure on her.
Justine Stafford and Dermot are the most perfect pair for Try videos! When Justine said "these taste old" I spit out my tea! LMFAO!
Dermot is in his element, as he's finally paired with someone who has as dirty a mind as he does.
Justine, as a Tennessean, I sentence you to a serving of durian fruit for that Nashville accent.
I think Caramel Cups is Dermot's drag name.
Only because Patty O'Furniture was already taken.
The only drag name I know Dermot's used is Jamie Lee Squirtis. Good times. Gooood times.
Justine & Dermot's simultaneous joy at the "Wrapper/Rapper" joke makes me love them even more!
The second the marshmallow caramel treat came out, I absolutely knew Justine was going to pull out the classic, 'Ah caramel!' Made my day.
Random TRYer having a bad day before going to a shoot. Gets paired with Callyann and then leaves in a good mood after being saturated with the ultimate happy/cheerful aura.
Justine's accents were pretty good.
(That was Matthew McConaughey at the end)
Ice Cubes date back to 1927. Considered "penny" candies. Favorite of kids back in the day.
2:35 The "Ah Carmel !" from Justine and Dermot IMMEDIATELY brought back memories of a Try channel classic "Irish People Try Canadian Cakes". Check it out!
My reaction EXACTLY.
🇨🇦
Dermot: Not the first time I had a mouth full of caramel.
Justine: (Pause) Ah, Dermot.
"It tastes like old"😅😅😅 Justine is one of the very best...
Justine's cadence in her american accent sounds like my 8th grade science teacher. He was a Texan and she sounds like she's trying to copy a Texas accent.
Was just thinking that. Others are saying Nashville and South Carolina and I’m thinking no dear those words are laying on each other, that’s Texan.
"I like that Justine lady"
"Which one?"
"Yes"
Great pairs, excellent silliness and good laughs everyone - thanks!
*Justine:* My brain is shuttin' down
_~a Few Minutes Earlier~_
*Dermot:* _~makes amusing comments~_
*Justine:* _~head makes descents to table~_
CallyAnn, Dermot and Goo Goo Clusters? This is going to be a great video!
Edit: As a Nashvillian (adopted no less) Justine’s Nashville accent was good enough.
Grew up in the area. She sounds like a Texan and not someone from the midsouth.
She sounds like the waitresses and clerks in the touristy shops, bars and restaurants who are trying to overdo the 'southern'.
@@deborahdean I was going to come comment this. I live in Oklahoma, 15 minutes from the Texas state line and she sounds like she is from around here. Definitely a Texas/Southern OK accent.
I'm putting together a new durian treat package for your tryers. Just promise you'll have Justine there for the tasting.
Justine going all Southern Comfort on Dermi was hilarious. Yes please, may I have another thank you.
Ok this video has cemented it. Justin and Dermot are my favourite pairing, laughing the whole way through this one guys
Anthony failed to include the instructions that "ice cubes" are to be consumed whole and rapid to get the effect.
And from the fridge
As a southerner... Justine's accent has unlocked something inside me that I don't think should've been let out 😍
"You know something?" - "Caramel"
god how I love those two 🤣🤣🤣
Ice cubes were big in the 70s many times we would get them at the penny candy store. They melted in your mouth quickly and yes they were cheap chocolate but when I was a kid I loved them they are retro
With pecans, you actually have a Goo Goo Supreme.
The original candy, with peanuts instead of pecans, came out in 1912.
I'm jealous. Dermot gets to hang out with Justine.
"Are you going to do the accent then?"
"How ARRRRHHH YERRR?"
Would love to see Justine paired with Justine. Cheers....
Justine soundin like my Appalachian cousin who got kicked in the head by a mule. Not bad 🤷🏻♀️😂
Ice Cubes are my favorite!!!
They are like a solid Nutella! Chocolate and hazelnut butter, with some coconut oil so they melt in your mouth!
Yes
Them ice chocolates are supposed to be served from the freezer. Totally different experience.
At least fridge!!!
yo I'm Canadian but to me, that accent was perfect, Justine hahahaha choked on my food at alright alright alrightttt
East TN here. Her accent was fun, but it's not Tennessee. Haha
At 0:56 "who owns you?". Human beings can sometimes have an intangible connection I've noticed. They're inexplicably able to communicate. It's fascinating.
Freeze the Ice Cubes. It's been a few years since I had one, but they were really creamy.
They are!
Both Justine's were in fine form today with the jokes!
At 4:08 the most Irish ☘️ description ever, Purgatory caramels 😂.
The pretzels are American. They're a Michigan brand. The Canadian flag is likely there because of the use of maple.
Perhaps so, but this bag was sold in Canada. It has both French and English labelling.
@@encourageandrepeat8375I see. I didn't notice that bit.
@@encourageandrepeat8375 That's the standard packaging, even in the USA. The inclusion of French makes it appear more legitimate in the American market, where the public is accustomed to fake maple flavouring.
5:20 DERMOT!!!! 😳😂🤣😂
Best joke in a video with a lot of great jokes! 😂🤪
Cayllann looks lovely in this video. Justine Halpin looks like she dressed for a Rock video. The other Justine is just being weird and that's why we all love her .
Two Justines=all of my attention! 😇
3:00 Marshmallow actually come from the mallow plant, which grows in... Marshes.
😺Justine!!! 😺 Ice Cubes!!! There was penny candy and those where 3 cents and 2 for 5 cents!!! GooGoo Clusters!!! One of my Favies!!! Original was just chocolate and peanuts!
I Remember Loving ice cubes when I was a kid! They're hard to find these days
@@LindaC616 It was a hard choice! Two of thee best chocolate or 5 or more penny candy!!!
@waltw9818 oh, the days...😄
So love watching Justine and Dermot! Great Matthew McConaughey accent!
I really enjoy the combination of Cally Ann and Bláithín, they're really funny together 😂
Lmao Justine we don’t ALL sound like that 😂😂
Ice Cubes are an "old" candy for kids. We used to think they were the shizziola because they came in a GOLD wrapper.
GooGoo Clusters are another "old one", but good for munchies.
The others? Must be regional, never heard of them.
@@popsfereal3192but the original goo goo clusters had peanuts, not pecans
@@LindaC616 Yes....I know this, I have eaten them many times.
Justine Stafford, always a pro with the accents but this sounded a lot more Lily, Kentucky than Nashville if ya know what I mean.
Justine and Dermot try power duo. They’re so flipping funny 😂😂😂
“Caramel cups AND she reaches around”. Classic Dermot
If you play back the video at double speed, Justine's southern accent sounds almost normal.
What southern accents have you heard ?
Those pretzels are actually from the state of Michigan, and they are my wifes favorite.
I'm here for Justine and Dermot
Justine sounds like Rhett and Link when doing her American accent.
Always fine fun when Justine Stafford and Callyann are in the shoot 😊
I’m always happy to see Stafford and Dermot together because you know it’s going to get weird.
Au so weird
In the best way.
Mr. And Mrs. Ward are a hoot together. 😂
Ice Cubes aren't new. They've been around for years and years.
I used to buy em at the gas station as a kiddo… in 1979 😂
@@jenzerr8856 This candy's are just NEW to the TRY channel. I think all of these have been around for a long time.
@@scottmcgill2133 oh i know ♥️ I stopped for gas the other day and they had the ice cubes sitting there at the register for 75 cents now!!!! I was almost tempted to get one 😂
Too much sugar before the savory maple sticks. The laughter was priceless!
I see Stafford and Dermot, I click play.
Au CarAmel
Why is it when people from other countries try to sound “American” it’s always Deep South accents?
You folks need to have a 'Where Are They Know?' episode, for all the Tryers we never see anymore.
Leave it to Justine to steal the show 🤣
"Purgatory Caramels" was the name of my band in college!
and when we played Ireland he heard a girl named 'Goo Goo Cluster' was in the audience :o
Hey Tryers, how about you try a Boston accent? Or Chicago ("Da Bears!")?
I grew up in the town Eastman, GA where the Goo Cluster originated from a company called Stuckeys. Sadly later bought out by standard candy company. There are still acres and acres of pecan trees that were used for the company.
I.want A pecan tree
Honestly Justine's voice isn't bad, that being said that particular accent is actually fading out. Her accent is a solid 7.5/10 for sure above average.
I don't know if I just had an aneurysm or what, but Dermot is actually becoming one of my favorites to see on the channel.
LOL so do other countries think all Americans just speak southern? 🤣🤣🤣 Genuine question. Love Justine haha
I think it might be moreso that the southern accent is one of the easier American accents to mimic because it can be quite pronounced which makes it easier to pick out the differences, certainly for me as a Brit anyway. It's also just quite a fun accent 😂
Pretty much
@@adamphilip1623 Haha, definitely makes sense. I'd argue it's probably the most known accent along with New York / New Jersey accents of the US as well. 🤣
@@noahwright3n And "valley girl"?
@@michaelhoward142 Haha, forgot about that one! Very true -- why'd you have to put that "accent" in my head again? 🤣
2 Justines in 1 Try video! Yes please!
I love it when Justine and Dermot team up. I hope Justine doesn't think all "mercians, talks laih dat."
...and yes, great accent Justine.
Try'rs, y'all rock! 😂 Peace
Goo goo Clusters have been around since 1912. Made in Nashville TN. The original has peanuts instead of pecans. They also have one with peanut butter now.
My grandmother put a GooGoo Cluster in all the grandkids stockings for Christmas ever year.
Omg Ice Cubes!!!….I love them so much. I’m almost 60 years old and they’ve been around my entire life. They used to be 10 cents for 5 of them!😂 that’s so crazy to type those words!
As others have commented upon, the talent at the Try Channel is CLASS!
When are we to get a *Try Channel MOVIE!!!!!!!* Just the thought of that beats any crap that is coming out of Hollywood! Let's start the petition and make this happen!
The Ice Cubes I had years ago were MILK chocolate and were delicious. I don't know where Anthony found those things.
I think Justine needs a nap! Great video!
_Ah, Caramel..._
Iykyk
Ice cubes used to be so much bigger! Haven't had one in ages. Never heard of the marshmallow caramels or the sea salt caramels. But Goo Goo Clusters were always so good . Same as Maple Buns and Vanilla Buns. Now I want a Goo Goo.
Ah, yes. Maple Buns. So good!
New American snacks when the Goo Goo Cluster is from originally, 1912.
There is something about having Dermot and Justine together that feels illegal... REALLY FUN, but totally illegal
The Goo Goo cluster was the favorite candy of my late grandmother when she was a girl through the 1920's and 30's.
My dad loves the Goo Goo clusters
"It tastes like old."
They had a musical jingle for GooGoo Candy Clusters that goes "Go get a Goo Goo. It's Good!"
Love the TRY Channel. Everyone has a great personality and the honesty is great. Which is had to find today. Justine is extremely funny with her southern accent, just wondering if she could do an Irish accent next time… 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 enjoy the day and each other’s company.
Poor Justine sounds like if someone slapped the sense out of Forrest Gump. Truly a treat!
It's really nice to see Justine laughing and having fun.
Callyann and Bláithín and the Yin and Yang of my personal taijitu.
I love Dermot and Clare usually, but Dermot and Justine together are next level craic.
I love the OG’s plus Callyann 👍
Justine's southern accent actually was pretty serviceable
When I was a kid GOO GOO Clusters were advertised as a “Tasty lunch.”
As a Nashville native I can tell you that Goo Goo was advertised on the Grand Ole Opry hence the name. GOO = Grand Ole Opry.
Oh my ... my two favorite TRY ladies, Bla and Justine S ... in the same video! Be still my heart ...
I have to give kudos to Justine for her distinct "Southern accent". Most people end up sounding like gentrified folks from Georgia while faking a Southern accent. Hers is a Southern rural or country sounding accent. Something we true Southerners would call a "country bumpkin" accent.
Regarding Justine's attempt at a southern accent: Bless her heart. At least she's pretty!
Justine's Matthew McConaughey was spot on.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
She's ALWAYS been one of my favorite Tryers.
The beauty of an Ice Cube is to let it melt in your mouth.
All of my favorite Tryers in one video. Thank you. And I just love Justine. The outro was everything. alright, alright, alright. 😀
