Marvel rivals is so amazing its definatly the overwatch killer and to think its only in a Alpha and compared to overwatch. Overwatches balance is so terrible dps are too strong for one. Half the dps roster in overwatch can just hold down left click and destroy tanks. Tanks in overwatch feel like they are made of paper and get burnt down so easily where as tanks in marvel rivals feel like real tanks. I know blizzard are buffing tanks in overwatch but it will only be a matter of time before all the noobs dps players complain and blizzard might nerf it again. I honestly think rivals is going to dominate overwatch just because overwatch balance is bad. overwatches match maker is terrible and i watch all the pros they all complain about the match maker.
I think the game looks pretty fun I hope it will do well not only for us gamers to have another game to play but also to be a reason for overwatch to be better
Yeah my greatest hope that it DOES to well and OW is forced to step it up.
This is exactly what overwatch needed , a actual competitor so that they can start using their brains to actually improve the game

Bro.. been playing this non stop since the beta opened! Been playing mostly witch, star lord, mantis and having a blast doing so! Can't wait for each beta and release (prob end of year)

Other than the brainless overwatch fans hating on the game the feedback seems positive and that gives me hope that we finally have something that isn’t overwatch that has IT. That and people are already getting into format debates and saying it would benefit from “5v5” without even understanding the game balance yet. Anyways I hope we see you post more marvel rivals content
It's sad though cause I don't give a shit about marvel and any of the heroes there therefore I am not hyped about it at all. I wish it was DC instead.
@@KiraMahMan I think you should definitely have a bit more open mind and give it a shot once it opens up a little bit more, its a game at the end of the day and it really delivers the 'fun' aspect of it.
Besides, sadly, DC games haven't been too hot lately.

I'm glad to hear all the positive impressions since I am interested in this. Very interested because I want another game to play besides, alongside Overwatch since I don't feel the desire to try and "catch up" on existing games like Apex and Valo. With that said, I am very weary from the NDA that negative feedback is NOT allowed, but I hope that isn't a reflection of the final product.
They stated it was a massive translation error since the original NDA was written in chinese and translated by one too, since then they've clarified they are open to any form of criticism, regardless, I wasn't on the NDA so you heard my genuine honest thoughts.

i dont have access to this game but one thing im genuinely surprised by is the skill expression but a lot of major complaints ive heard is the optimization can be horrible and there's only NA servers atm howeveer that will most likely be addressed before launch. also one thing i dont see people giving credit for is the devs are actually willing to admit their mistakes and own up to it, in their public discord, they owned up to their negative feedback policy mistake and are looking at ways to simplify and correct what they meant since they do want feedback, just constructive criticism which wasnt translated well so thats pretty cool
As a ow fan I really hope this is good because I think Competition will be good for both games

I want to try peni Parker and she how she works. Those mines and spider bots seem cool to me as a mechanic.
Highest skill ceiling tank by far, really difficult to play
They are worried about the bugs and ping issues probablly. And they know that as the first competitior to ow it needs to have a launch that is similar. Established franchises like ow always have the advantage because at the end of the day trying something new is a risk. Im super excited because I hate a lot of the practices of ow and am a tank player.
Easily fixable, it is in alpha after all.

To add, I really appreciate how you still want to play overwatch AND marvel rivals. Most of my friends seem to despise overwatch and only play because they are "addicted" (maybe they are but how do you play a game and have ZERO nice things to say about it💀). Thus, it's refreshing that you aren't saying "finally overwatch is DEAD!" like some bitter gold digger spouse...
Yeah ofc man people gate keeping games is sooo stupid, if Im not enjoying OW a lot in a season I just bounce and play something else, if I dont enjoy that, I bounce back to OW, you can enjoy the world of gaming than just one game itself, people have such weird cult like mindsets for no reason.

Those highlight intros are so cool man. I hate how lame the new over watch ones are. They feel too basic.
OW highlight intros literally have just become "Wow watch this cool slow zoom in...." and back in OW1 we actually had personalities to them. Sigh.

There's a lot of non sense hate going on toward this game. This game feels really good. As someone who has 3000+ hours in OW and has been to GM.. this game is good, and maybe the internet won't let this game succeed, but this is easily the best rival to OW yet, and currently it feels better.. as an alpha. This is the most fun I've had playing a new multi-player game in quite some time tbh. Definitely some areas of concern balance wise, but as long as they follow through this game has a lot of potential
Its Alpha so balance being a mess is completely fine, I do think Black Panther is by far the biggest standout for worst character in the game LMAO.
I think the game is fun compared to over watch currently.

I spent this video comparing it to a lot of other games.

I was just surprised that you had so few points of criticism, even though there are some obvious weak spots which early Overwatch also had, that will become problems once people get a hang of the game and start abusing them.

Im missing some info about gameplay, gamemodes, and overall game flow. You talk waaaaay too much about skins. Remember, Overwatch was at its best without 20.000 skins and emotes.

My guy I didn't get the contract. Nor am I in the creator discord. Neither was my friend, he got it off of a content creator streaming the game, BobDuckNWeave.
This was my genuine opinion on the game, its good and they clarified that the NDA was roughly translated from Chinese and there was errors in what was said, they were open to constructive critisicms from day 1 and its even a point in their open discord to speak freely about what you like and dislike and even in the survey i filled out for playing the game they heavily emphasized "What do you dislike? What can we do better? What seems reasonable for a hero to do and not?" things like that.
If you watch the videos from other creators also not in the creator program (Bogur, Necros, etc.) The game succeeded on being fun and addicting to play, has a lot and I mean A LOT of depth.

"Useless Observations" that you'll care about when you actually sit down to play the game and use its systems, that and I wanted to address everything I could because you have to give feedback on all fronts, not just the gameplay itself.
Polishing the replay viewer, fixing and maintaining a good shop system, ironing out the presentation of the tournament system is also just as important since they want it to be a competitive shooter.
Over half the video is talking about the stuff surrounding the game and not the actual game.very telling. On top of that you act like the busted terrible balance is a good thing. The idea that people want ultimates that win team fights is insanity to me. I hated nano genji blades dictating game flow. I understand you are a genji main and want to experience that adrenaline of controlling an entire match but it absolutely sucks dick for everyone else playing the match. This game has the worst character kit design I've ever seen and people aren't discussing it at all. Too enamored by some bells and whistles to notice that half of the characters are blatant ripoffs and the others are so bad nobody plays them at all. People are discovering that black panther doesn't suck as much as they thought but the downside is his kit is fucked. Just dashes and unmissable character sized hurt boxes not to mention the characters in this game move like snails on Ritalin. Oh well enjoy your smash hit of repeated game mechanics and game modes ripped from 20 years ago. Gonna be the best overwatch team fortress and fortnite mutant of the next few years.
I didn't talk about the gameplay in depth because I literally said I'll dig deeper into the game in the videos I have coming up for it and wanted to talk about the systems and everything else around the game first because OW failed to deliver on some fronts with features that were promised, LMFAO.
I'm also not gonna jump the gun on game balance when:
Game is in Alpha, We don't know what Balance direction look like nor what they want from the game and thirdly when no one has genuinely figured out the meta yet either. I don't have people to properly scrim the game with, I said this with the Scarlet Witch example too, her ult was considered broken on day 1 and 2, by day 3 people realized it has the easiest counterplay, same goes to Hela as well if you're playing Doctor Strange, People called Ironman garbage on day 1 and 2 yet now he's being called the darkhorse pick, opinions are all over the place. Its an Alpha, nothing is set in stone, its a TEST, you're meant to get in, get a feel, give feed back, I did all of that in my survey, in the online website forum and through this video.
The only real broken standout is Loki and Groot, thats it imo.
