I would like to see Captain Britain, Dominó, Deadpool, Gwenpool, Nebula, omega red, red ghost, Cyclops, mania, black cat, Colossus, beast, The thing, human torch, invisible woman, mr fantastic, Ant man, wasp, rouge, gambit, Mistique, Psychoman, maggot, Blade, sandman, Darwin, Daredevil and madcap as playable characters
I didn’t mention characters like wolverine, moon knight and captain America because I heard that they are leaked characters for the complete game

This game may get hate for being a so called Overwatch clone but it succeeding is good for both this franchise and Overwatch because it will give both games healthy competition force the devs to improve their games

i love how in the cons the criticism is the same thing that marvel movies can get where it's like "can the characters stop yapping so much please?"
I'd assume the announcer talking could be mitigated by going into to settings in the future but I'm not sure you'd want the specific characters to talk less in that example due to each one voice lines represented an ult being used by such character, except for the hulk but that at least represents him changing forms
The fact that Yuri is voicing Spiderman automatically makes him my main
I can’t be alone in wanting a Victor Von Doom in this game, imagine if he was a strategist (healer) with crowd control and protection spells, not only a great character but would be so fun as a defensive healer who set up big plays for the team or punished greedy flankers
We prob won’t see doom as a playable character for a while as he’s the main villain for the story so they’re prob gonna have it play out before adding him. But it would be cool

I always say this: Comic book stuff like Marvel and DC have an untapped potential that I am always surprised that there isn't a single game the size of COD or Overwatch already.
There are SO many characters that have their design and backstory done that the devs don't even need to think about. There are much better characters than the shallow Captain America that 99% of the world has never heard about and would absolutely fall in love with.
And what do people love about "hero" shooters? There being a character you love playing -> variety is unlimited in comics. There is a unique hero or villain or antihero/vigilante or neutral character for EVERY person in the world.
Rhino and Juggernaut are the characters I'd love to see. Wolverine too but I hope they depict him accurately because he's actually a small guy just 5'3 but the X-Men and Wolverine movies have made people see him as this big, tall dude.
And I hope they make redhead characters actually redheads and not change them like Mary Jane and many others, although it's mostly DC who "deletes" redheads in new stuff. It's crazy how many redhead characters have been changed when their appearance is so striking and important to their character.
Is the "deleting redheads" thing just a shield to be anti-woke or is this legit?
DC had many multiplayer games projects at some point (MMORPG and MOBA from the top of my head), only Injustice somewhat took off (parallel to MvC hah), which is a shame. We now have Multiversus, which for sure will be getting more DC characters, but something else would be nice too.
Untapped potential fighting it's woke owners, and by state of Disney .... seems like losing alot

@@ForgeMakesThings I mean I'm loving it to be fair, think the game is the best it's ever been, most heros are viable, no major bugs or real issues, things get fixed fairly quickly and tweaked, whereas ow1 it took months! Brig was a issue for years, roads hook and reins charge took years to get working properly
Fun fact: Troy Baker, the voice actor for Loki in this game, has played Lego Batman in a lot of stuff.
I've heard a lot of Overwatch killers, but this one has huge potential. Especially if they price the skins right, they could easily make money. Away from that though, I'm excited to use Star Lord (me savior), Groot, and Loki. Hope to see some others on the way, like Gamora, Captain America, etc.
One of the handful of UA-camrs when I get notified they upload a video, I get excited and know I have to watch it, whatever it is

Hela is broken, it's kinda insane. She will be getting a nerf upon release. I really want to see more X-Men as they are the only Marvel comics I really read. Having Nightcrawler, Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Kitty Pryde, literally choose any of the above and I'll be happy. Plus with Kitty and Magik, you can get the shipping community talking because they are definitely a thing, the writers are just teasing us. They're definitely doing things to each other, just look at Magik's face when Kitty get's resurrected (look it up, you'll see it, that is not the face you make with your friends).

Gambit was built for this game. Honestly just any X-Men characters excite me. Seeing magik when the game was announced made me immediately hyped and I love the magneto design

I’d especially love to see more X-Men reps mostly. Deadpool, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Jubilee, etc. But there are some villains i’d also love to see like Green Goblin, Dr. Doom, Thanos, Taskmaster, and Doc Ock.

Adding characters like Magic which I’ve never even heard of, and not adding characters like captain America or Thor which are in the top 10 most famous and well known marvel characters is a serious game design flaw

Yuri and josh for spiderman and iron man respectively is huge. Both are incredible VAs and makes me so excited to try both when the game launches...

2:57 Jokes aside, I think that's the key element of this game, they develop the whole thing by using Spiderman as the bases. Seems obvious when you think about it, Spiderman is maybe the most popular superhero in the planet (surpassing both Superman and Batman), he is the main character of Marvel, everybody will try to play as Spiderman at least once... but hell, to play as Spiderman in a shooter? That's complex to say the least, but they nailed his design it seems, super hard to play (they mixed Doom, Hammond and Genji, wth, three hardest Overwatch characters in that order... into a single dude). By establishing the core of the game after designing Spiderman, here it comes the other characters. No wonder the maps are big and destructive (size to allow Spiderman to move around like a pest, then you can break walls to force Spiderman to stay quiet), third person camera because people would vomit if they were swinging in first person, pure melee characters because Spiderman himself is about sticky melee, etc.. it's the Spiderman show!
I’m a scared of genji mains in ow….cant imagine what they can cook up on Spider-Man
I think Cyclops would be a no brainier, maybe with a mechanic related to his instinctive trigonometry, where he can bounce his lasers off surfaces to catch opponents who may feel safe behind cover or around a corner
Another character I would love to see would be Dr Octopus, I imagine him as some sort of grappler support character who can throw opponents around for some good crowd control

I’ll tell you what I’ve never played overwatch but I’m hearing about and getting hyped up on this game and I’ve been a call of duty player since MW2 and halo. Valorant wasn’t captivating enough I care none about the characters, overwatch same thing, Fortnite haha tried it but quickly got over the initial dopamine hype. But marvel rivals kinda checks all of those boxes. Something competitive, takes a level of skill, and most likely a consistent stream of relevant content that will have my childhood and adulthood heroes I’ve always known and loved. This will take it out.
This game can one up over watch by giving us a story mode that they never did, maybe something to do with secret wars both for mcu synergy and the fact it already gives original secret wars vibes from the comics
I say they should have put in Ben Grimm instead of Hulk. Have him change in between his three forms: Original scaly form, classic Thing and Spiky Thing
I'd love to see Sentry as a playable character, and I'd imagine his ultimate would be something truly busted
As an overwatch and Marvel fan honestly, this looks really good

I feel like if this game does well, Deadpool will be inevitable. Personally I would flip if they added Doc Ock. Easily my favorite marvel villain and creating a unique mechanic for his tentacles could look awesome.

Ok, so I got my hands on this game 3 days before the end of the play test by a a dude named James in the discord ligit my savior, anyway as a long time over watch fan and very marvel nerd since birth I can confirm this game is so much better then just an “overwatch clone” the characters are so fleshed out and fun to learn, my favorite of which (ironic considering the name) was scarlet witch, she was so freaking over powered and could win you any game if you knew how to play her right, just like any game every character requires skill to use and it’s not like all your skill form other hero shooters such as apex or overwatch transfers right to this game.( again every character is different and has they own ups and down) at the end of the day marvel rivals is a mixture of everything I love and I hope you all love it when it officially launches as much as I do, I’d give this game a 10/10
A lot of the characters also.copy other hero shooters like paladins a bunch, they are learning from more than overwatch which is a great sign
