I was generally just looking for some full co-op gameplay for Eco and found an amazing small UA-camr! Love your voice man it’s soothing and I could totally get behind watching full hours of your content without getting bored
Some solid tips. Maybe not the things that are most logically important (ie explaining things like diet and housing) but a great list of quick tips for sure. I'd add: 1. CTRL+SHIFT+Dragging between stockpiles will drag all items of _every_ type. 2. The power requirements of a building are listed in its tooltip, so you can know what you need before you buy something. (The amount of power supplied by generators is also listed, but I don't think there's an easy way to search "electric power" to actually see all the options that generate that type of power.) 3. Pipes I do agree that multiple types is the easiest way to organize things, but personally I just have all my inputs stay ground level and my outputs go to a height of 3 (so they're never adjacent to the inputs), or vice-versa. 4. In the list of Steam Trucks in the world _you can also CLICK on your steam truck_ to center the map there. Quite handy. 5. Don't downplay Farming too much, as there are many crops like beets that you simply can't produce nonstop without the farming skill (ie you never get enough seeds from harvesting alone to replant a same-sized field). So while it's true Gathering is the main efficiency increaser, Farming enables you to seriously farm (without it, you'll always just be grazing the countryside randomly; and sure, that can be enough in some situations). 6. Mentioning the "0-skill-level" requirement for things like paper and soil samplers is a particularly great tip. (And something that's honestly hard to notice even when you're aware that's how the game works. Like some research only requires 0 skill level, so you can begin crafting that paper by reading the skill scroll (and _not_ having to invest a star in it). 7. /freecar is great to know too, but it would've also been great to show people how to recover a vehicle that's REALLY someplace bad. Meaning: place a stockpile next to it to put all the cargo there, then pick up the car with a hammer, then place it back on the road and put the cargo back in. (And probably stake a single claim on that stockpile if you're worried about someone coming along and stealing the stuff.)
1. I should have included this one 100% 2. I didn't know this, thanks for the heads up 3. Agreed, it's not necessary but it's handy to know 4. I should have included that for sure 5. I think this advice comes from personal experience because my servers always have too many farmers 6. Yep 7. I agree but I was trying to keep the video to a reasonable length
@@Loocharagaming 5. The point is crops like beets _require Farming_ to adequately farm. (Otherwise you're getting like 2 seeds per 10 harvests, which isn't sustainable.) Sure too many people choose Farming, but it's still important to let people know the actual meaningful benefit of it.
@@Axehilt one thing to think of is if TOO many people choose farming, how many actually wind up really farming in game... if i had extra points and wasn't sure what to do with them, taking farming might be good as i can go gather WILD beets for example and then use farming table to turn them into seeds.. then i could sell or trade those seeds to a farmer.. might not be ideal, but it gives something to do if your waiting for other que timers to finish up
@@mikewhitaker2880 1. Yes _any_ specialization can have "too many cooks" (so players should always check how many of a profession exist before joining it). 2. If the goal is turning a specialization into a quick buck, seeds/farming is one of the worst choices because people aren't willing to pay tons of money for food, which means cooks won't pay tons for ingredients (beets) which means farmers can't pay tons of seeds (beet seeds). Also the timing on the comment is amusing since I've been away from the game ~9 months (maybe longer, I forget if I was playing when I made that comment), and yesterday was my first time watching anything Eco related since that time (holy crap desert plants look nice now!), and today I get an Eco related comment. @Loocharagaming thanks for the tips.. I've been playing this game back in the alpha state when it was on kickstarter. Now some friends got into it on steam, so a lot of the game is very new to me again. These tips have helped a lot and I appreciate you doing these type of videos to help others.

i think my biggest issue is remembering the inventory management controls... i play many games, and each one winds up a little different, so its easy to get them mixed up or to forget them altogether....
Nice video. Thanks for the tips. Question for ya. Are you having difficulty with your stove working? Mine is always telling me the chimney pipe has to be outside, but there's nowhere to attach it. Maybe a video on it if you don't mind?
You should be able to attach a pipe to the top left of the stove. If you look at the stove from above you should see the pipe sized circle that it attaches to. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
@@Loocharagaming lol it will but I’m more interested and excited to see what they do with the roster we have I think this year and last year are two two I’m most unsure of and have to watch to get a good idea of the team
personally, the one thing i discover way too late: most server have a plant&tree co reduction cap and unless you mess up really really hard the planet, it never goes under the cap so planting tree to reduce pollution is completly useless, this is the case for most server, but some server have custom setting that make tree planting matter also, when you put 10 000 labor in a project, don't spam click for 10 min, use ctrl or shift, best quality of life tip

Hello, maybe you can help me. Previously chests could be stacked directly on top of each other against a wall. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible today, which makes no sense to me. Is there a trick to stack the chests directly on top of each other or am I just doing something wrong. It's not fun when you have a thousand chests lying around. A heartfelt thank you
