Great channel, your work oozes quality I'll reference my own story with games. I had a pretty good PC as a kid, and no internet. Still remember installing Test Drive Unlimited off of four disks! Some other personal highlights were Battlefield 2 with bots, Cossaks Back to War and 2, C&C Generals, COD MW and MW2 As I went to Uni I had to switch to a laptop, and learn software dev with it. With it being weaker, I went for some of the less demanding games and ones I was missing out on, like Portal, HL2, Nova Drift, Wizard of Legend, Stardew Valley. For a few years got addicted to warthunder, dropped it when I saw them support occupiers. But the laptop did not do well when russian bombings started to cause blackouts. That's when I learned about steam deck, and got it soon after. Controller was an interesting experience that I got used to for some games, but not RTS nor FPS genres. Not only does Deck last me whole planned outage, but also performs better than old laptop, so I switched over pretty much completely. Got a cheap dock, 1080p display and keyboard for it. That is how I played through ARMA 3 for the first time, and I loved it. Though I did still want a PC, the outages ended and I went ahead with planning my build. Wanted it for more demanding games and PC VR Ended up settling on used 3090, Ryzen 5 7600 and 2Tb SSD. And soon after CDPR released 2.0 update with Ukrainian localization. I was hesitant, as my go at Fallout 3 made me sceptical of FPS RPG games. But I am so glad I did. Played half the game with RT, ended up turning it off as I don't notice the benefits but do feel the input lag. Did not get a VR headset yet, as I still hold hopes for Deckard - but I got into making FPV drones, and Deck runs Liftoff FPV drone simulator with real RC on external display pretty damn well. Also ended up getting into movement shooters, highly recommend Titanfall 2 and The Finals. Also highly recommend Nova Drift, lovely indie roguelite Best of luck to you and success to your channel!
1st off sorry it took me so long to reply normally I try to be faster on it also I really really appreciate the support and everything also what is crazy about PC (not in a bad way) is I didn’t realize how much learning is behind it like I didn’t realize that so much plays a factor for having a good PC experience I been learning so much and it’s been a pretty fun ride I also turns off RTS on games like Cyberpunk myself and a few other games and didn’t see a difference but then games like dragons dogma 2 I had to turn off 4K normally didn’t have to do that but it ran much better with it turned down….i make have went down to 2k vs 4 don’t remember but I’m loving learning more and more…but like I said again thank you for the support
Thank you for the update bro I legit bought it in steam…I think you can see it in one of these videos but I have not played it yet but was wondering if it was fixed…really appreciate the update!
I just got my new Series X 2TB edition because my old Series X wasn’t working, and immediately I went back to PC mainly again😂 But I will be using my Xbox for certain games
@@DenofOkami Oh yeah I’m keeping it I was thinking to try Xbox as my main again but I didn’t, I need it for GTA 6 and the old CODs when it comes to gamepass
There is something that is also should be mentioned a bit more but old games, man, if you want to play some gold from the past most of the time PC will help you with that. So many gems you can just download on the internet and spend some evenings playing something like American McGee's Alice or buy for less than a dollar Deus Ex 1 from 2000 and pour 25 hours into it. And don't get me started on emulation, you know that Silent Hill 2 remake is coming but if you want to experience the originals you either have to go through hoops of buying old consoles and copies of these games or you can just get a PC, set up an emulator for PS1, play through Silent Hill 1 with better than ever graphics (only a couple times you may have to turn off enhancements because they crash a game but just for a minute) then get better versions of SH2 and 3 and play them too. I also relatively recently found out about a little app called x mouse button control which allows you to bind keyboard keys and even combinations of them to mouse buttons and it can help a lot with some older games without proper full on mouse support.
Bro I love this comment and it’s 100% what I’m talking about…I can’t remember if I showed it in the video but there was a deus Ex sale that was going on and I got every single game in the franchise for a couple of bucks that’s what I’m talking about….i also been thinking about emulating some old games and stuff. It’s hard because the nostalgia makes me wanna get the old system and play it like it originally was, but I do recognize how easy it is to just emulate some of the stuff. But again yes to everything you just said 😂
@@DenofOkami Old games can look quite stylish when launched in modern resolution. The Unreal Engine aesthetics on full HD and more is something that I just like
Yeah I’m sure because even playing on the Xbox and it has a resolution boost HDR and increase frames makes the game so much more fun to play so I can only imagine what it’s like on a PC 😂
@@DenofOkami don't forget most of the time 60+ fps in these games unless it breaks them. If I made a suggestion for an old game to play I would suggest to try out Rune from 2000. Very neat Norse mythology hack'n'slash 3rd person adventure with very fluid oldschool combat. Don't know how it can be played with gamepad today but with KBM it's a very solid experience. You can patch out the Steam version to restore cut levels and if bugs won't get too wild you will do just fine. And I've beat it on Hard, quite a challenge later into the game it was
For me there has never been a reason to get a console, I can count the games I play and could play on console two hands, and half of them I wouldnt play unmodded or without second monitor running other stuff. KB+Mouse is simply better in all that are left, if I really wanted to I could get a controller for pc. None of the current exclusives are worth getting a console over, besides them coming to PC either way or getting emulated with 1-3 gen delay, even stuff like GTA isnt as big without mods. I dont have a TV that could take advantage of modern consoles, and especially playstation controllers are known to break regularly. Compared to PC monitors who are dirt cheap for 1440p 144+Hz and the longevity of mechanical keyboard I will never have to swap, only mice break every 5-8 ish years. If you count TV and additional controllers into the hardware cost, PC is as expensive as consoles for the same/better performance. Another big thing is backwards compatibility, when a new console gen comes out you gotta pray your old games work on it, on PC its just a matter of does it work with the new windows? No? Emulate or VM with older windows then. You can upgrade hardware independant of your game library. PC has better backwards compatibility for console games than modern consoles do. Especially with the addition of steamdeck you can even have your portable device to play modern games on and you can emulate GBA, DS, PSP,.....anything you want, even if your old hardware doesnt work anymore, while having full access to your steam library. Most of the arguements I see console fanboys bring against switching to PC are simply sunk cost fallacies and inability to really understand technology. Stick drift shouldnt be an issue for a 100+$ controller but PS knows they can milk their consumers, so they do, same with subscriptions for online play. That shit wont change anytime soon unless people start looking over the wall and see the other side not having to shovel shit all day.
I feel you and agree with most points you have there..one of my biggest issues that I still have not found a fix for is game sharing PC game sharing is close to nonexistent and the family stuff steam has does not help at all…the fact that I can get a copy of a brand new game for 2 people for one price…that reason alone will stop me from fully dropping console because I’m paying for me and my wife…now things like GTA she doesn’t care about at all or warhammer 2 that dropped so I didn’t have to worry about paying 2 two copies anyways but the vast majority of the games I do buy she does play or tries out but I’m so with you on mods lol and also the keyboard and mouse! I just dropped a video on me switching to that and my experience lol
Im 19 should i get a ps5 pro or a 4080 super build im still in uni what would be ideal to get for me ??? I have a th 120hz oled and rhats it whatever it get ill connect that to my tv but ill be spending 4x the money on the pc than the ps5 pro
Personally….i would go with the 4080 super..you have many many more options on PC and a lot of the PS5 games are coming to PC anyways also keep in mind it cost more but will last longer meaning when the PS6 drops you more then likely will still not need to upgrade your PC
The only reason I game on pc is repacks. Dodi and fitgirl has just about everything. No patches, no crack files… if all I had was steam, I’d be on my ps5
Yeah pretty much like the other guy said I only really use it to game on and it’s just out the box ready to go…maybe I will try gaming on a Linux again I did one times before and I got stressed out trying to use wine 😂
Personally I need to see if hands on myself but I don’t see the justification if you already own a PS five maybe if you don’t have a system already but spend a $700 and the PS six is probably gonna come out in the next couple of years 2 to 3 roughly I don’t know
i just upgraded my gpu and it has me enthralled. from a 2060 to a 3080 it’s incredible how it makes my PS5 look like last gen (maybe a stretch but the gap is so big). i also love sailing the open seas for 🏴☠️ and im big into emulation. i don’t always but having the option to scale to 4k and dl hd texture packs is incredible too. with the addition of front ends it can be a semi-seamless experience for TV gaming too.
The only thing that concerns me about GTA6 on pc. Whenever it comes out. I wonder if the devs will leave the online behind like they did GTAV. Gtav gets constant updates since forever ago. Last time i checked gtav online on pc. It was way and i mean way behind. The Cash cow for rockstar is console.
Yeah, that’s something I try to keep telling people is you can switch to PC but just know games like GTA six aren’t gonna be there at drop when the rest of the world is having fun and loving it you may feel a little left out

Great channel, your work oozes quality
I'll reference my own story with games. I had a pretty good PC as a kid, and no internet. Still remember installing Test Drive Unlimited off of four disks! Some other personal highlights were Battlefield 2 with bots, Cossaks Back to War and 2, C&C Generals, COD MW and MW2
As I went to Uni I had to switch to a laptop, and learn software dev with it.
Wanted it for more demanding games and PC VR
Ended up settling on used 3090, Ryzen 5 7600 and 2Tb SSD. Also highly recommend Nova Drift, lovely indie roguelite
Best of luck to you and success to your channel!
This channel is going to blow up bro keep at it. Just subscribed.
Thanks bro I really appreciate that man!! And best believe as I learn more it’s going to get better!
Batman Arkham Knight on PC is fixed in case you want to play it.
Thank you for the update bro I legit bought it in steam…I think you can see it in one of these videos but I have not played it yet but was wondering if it was fixed…really appreciate the update!
Great video. You brought up the reason I don’t play on pc. I work all day on pc and when I’m off I like to chill on my Xbox.
Yeah when I was behind a computer all day last thing I wanted to look at was a computer 😂 and that’s one of the best parts of console gaming
I just got my new Series X 2TB edition because my old Series X wasn’t working, and immediately I went back to PC mainly again😂 But I will be using my Xbox for certain games
Wait didn’t that come out a day again LOL but I understand you as well there is just so much PC has to offer
@@DenofOkami Yeah I felt the difference with the latency and the graphics, and the headset I use isn’t available for Xbox so I switched right back
Fully understandable…you keep the Xbox at least?
@@DenofOkami Oh yeah I’m keeping it I was thinking to try Xbox as my main again but I didn’t, I need it for GTA 6 and the old CODs when it comes to gamepass
@PhoenixDS717 lol that’s smart plan lol
And I've beat it on Hard, quite a challenge later into the game it was
@@DenofOkami oh god I LOVE Deus Ex... all of it.. hell I even enjoyed The Fall (dont play the fall. XD)
Chiiiiiiiiil....Delete this...Kids can't be quiet about sh*t.
😆😆😆
pc gaming is the future
It’s the present
@@hvdiv17 excuse me!?
The question is how to get EA app to run the games batelfield 2042
What’s going on exactly?
@ every time I launch a battlefield game it opens I hit play then tdm then it crashes to the Home Screen
Steam is perfection. But...
Why Windows?
You do your gaming in Linux?
For all regards to other OSes Windows is THE gaming OS. Everything just works or can be made working here
Yeah that’s why I using windows not that it’s my favorite OS but I don’t have to do anything extra to get it to work
@@DenofOkami
yes
Yeah pretty much like the other guy said I only really use it to game on and it’s just out the box ready to go…maybe I will try gaming on a Linux again I did one times before and I got stressed out trying to use wine 😂
Welcome to the fold
Appreciate it!!
What do you think about the Ps5 pro ?
I’m looking to upgrade my card next year myself something in the 40’s
@@DenofOkami right on! i’m hoping to get my hands on a 4080 or 4090 next year myself.
Yeah, that’s something I try to keep telling people is you can switch to PC but just know games like GTA six aren’t gonna be there at drop when the rest of the world is having fun and loving it you may feel a little left out
Console gamers want to stay ignorant and loyal to their favorite console..when they go pc you cant go back.
I would fully switch if it wasn’t for game share lol
Not true. The ignorant person is you. You can´t accept that people want the console experience. And many switched from PC to console for this reason to just play games in a simple and fast way. The conosle does everything for you, the ability to sell and trade games...
@ConsolePeanut7 yeah it does everything..can it run rdr2 at 60fps?
@@c523jw7 What i mean by everything is, it updates automatically, i can jump into games fast, (also no shader loading) shows me games on my wishlist on sale... it just works. No fidding with settings or fixing issues (stutter, driver issues and so on). And btw.: most games are at 60 FPS. RDRII had no PS5 upgrade yet. But even if a game is only at 30, i have no issue with it. :) I even played some120 FPS games (must be over 100 at the moment). But again, i´m interested in games, not numbers. If i would look at numbers all the time, i would lose interest in gaming.
