Hey everyone! at the time of shooting this video the advisory from La Roche representative was to use 10ML of sunscreen. I had followed it up and written to them...the reply came via the scenic route (which means..it took time ) The email reply shared that "10ML is advisory...and one must use as is needed...but certainly have full coverage" they didn't share if finger measurement was appropriate.
In light of this please just use way more than what seems sufficient in first glance. I go between 2.5 to 3 fingers mostly just for face and neck. If I am wearing sleaveless or halters then thats over and above this.

Your detailed videos really help in me choosing the correct product for my skin but sunscreen is really a difficult task. I have combination skin in summers but ER makes me sweat like anything and also the formulation is quite weird. After 2 usage whenever I take it out the oil part comes first and then the cream so I am not using it anymore.

I want aqualogica sunscreen in a tube so that I can cut it and use all of it.. you can never tell how much you are wasting in a pump packaging. M glad minimalist has started the tube packaging but I like the dewy finish by aqualogica.

I am using aqualogica sunscreen which you review here it is really good. I also used minimalist 60 sunscreen it breakout me after i applied it. I was out for quite a good time when I came back i saw my face full of tiny bumps wherein aqualogica worked for me

Hi, fix derma gave shared their spf 50 test results, it has uva pf of 22. As for the cast, I have way darker skin than you and went completely sheer. However you have to blend this sunscreen to make the sunscreen disappear.

the only problem with aqualogica is "benzophenone"... which is considered toxic according to some research.
Thanks Rubina for this wonderful and informative content. I am a huge fan of Earth Rhythm sunscreen. I have them in my stock. Currently I am using Mama Earth's Aquaglow sunscreen and I am liking it. It's hydrating with zero white cast. I can see in their site that they produced SPF test results by Daiso.
I don't know why there is not much hype about this sunscreen.

Mam how about COSIQ spf 50 sunscreen? Is it certified?
i suspect that fixderma sunscreen may not be that photostable because .. they didnot use octocrylene to stabilise avobenzone.. as avobenzone is effective only for 30mins

Your valuable & knowledgeable videos made me start a proper skincare since Feb 2022. I have melasma,hyperpigmentation, tanning issues & I have seen improvement however since a month it hasn't changed much. I bought tranexamic acid and I am currently using vit c, alpha arbutin, niacinamide. And lactic acid somedays. Please suggest me if it would be okay to use tranexamic now or would it be too much? (Haven't faced any issue with the products so far)
you have to give it time :) 6months to a year to start seeing results and dont forget the sunscreen

Hey Rubina i would love for you to try z block physical sunscreen the blue tube. I've heard such good reviews but like always I'll only take it from you 😂 personally I love the ER hybrid fluid, dr sheths ceramide vit c sunscreen. I am a little iffy about avobenzone tho, such outdated filter.
its not certified is it? avo is good when you do the research on it...
z block sunscreen is very good...i have used n times of times and it helps in preventing tanning. my dermat also recommended z block ,uv doux, reequil and faceguard
it is far better than fixderma and mamaearth's aqualogica

Using earth rythm and bought it on one on one offer. I love it as it has suited my oily acne prone skin.

@@RubinaSkincare episoft sunscreen is from Pharma brand. They need extensive testing to get approval for marketing. Much more trustworthy than other commercial sunscreen brands. According to me

I have seen so many videos on skin care and sunscreen but have never come across a good detailed video wherein skin care and sunscreen application is talked about for people whose job are such that they cannot avoid sun exposure. Like I am a litigating lawyer here in India and you know how the court functions. It is nearly next to impossible for me to avoid sun in peak hours. Can you please make a video on this concern.
