I am very stoked to bring you this beautiful shiny Turtwig from Brilliant Diamond after only 1,456 soft resets (or 24 hours of hunting)!
Very happy to finish off my first shiny Pokemon target in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl that early, it was only the 4th day of hunting!

I got my shiny Turtwig in 50-60 resets. First time hunting for a shiny, and after looking up other videos, I guess it's definitely a bit of beginners luck!

50-60 resets is definitely incredibly lucky, what a great way to join into shiny hunting!

jeez i wouldnt even consider that a hunt, go for another starter and you'll start dwindling at 2k resets let alone potentially 7 or 8

I have been at this since day 1 and havent encountered either shiny 😩
Keep going friend! Not all can be lucky, but the shiny will be worth it in the end!
Man I have bad luck everyone getting there shiny starter and I'm almost 2000 resets and no shiny
Now I don't know if I wanna evolve my shiny turt when I get mine in the near future haha
That's the struggle haha! I do think shiny Torterra looks better than normal Torterra, but at the same time I prefer shiny Turtwig + Grotle over shiny Torterra haha

Were you able to turn off your system and come back to it and still got the shiny or left it on the whole 4 days?
There is no chain or anything that gets build up, you can always just turn off your system (unless your specifically doing Pokeradar).
Question i had to reset my switch cache will that effect my shiny hunting ??
No you're shiny hunting stays unaffected.

Sucks we have such a long load time/cutscenes before we can see if he’s Shiny or not. It’s also annoying how my games keep asking to update before each reset even tho I have airplane mode on. Definitely not enjoying this hunt so far.
Watching your videos while I hunt for chimchar, almost 3 months off fairly solid hunting and only 2 non catchable shiny starly to show for it 😫
Edit: that’s over 3.7k resets
Best of luck and don't give up!! It's gonna be worth it in the end! Currently at ~4,500 resets for Piplup, also with 2 uncatchable birds without the shiny penguin yet. Sometimes it takes a little longer but we'll go until the end!
I'm shiny hunting turtwig rn and I'm at 260 SR at the moment I'm hoping to get it before Pokémon legends drops on January 28th so hopefully I get it soon! I'll be heading to sleep but once I wake up I'll continue the hunt and get closer to getting it! I don't care for gender as long as it's gotten I'll be happy I just hope I'm doing it right lol

@@OliverMKP sup bro! Just got my shiny turtwig today!! I started at 700 and I was planning to go for 100 SR's and take a break and at my 785th SR I got the shiny boi! I am so happy I got him and I'm super excited to play through with it as well as before pokemon legends comes out lol so now I can play through and get ready for legends in 11 days!

@@Lugiavsgiratina Well the odds are 1/4096, with 8 hours hunting a day it will take at least 8 days. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes it takes even longer. That's what we love about RNG, we never know when it happens! And it always stays a surprise like that!

I’ve watching this video like 5 times at least. It keep me motivated while sr for shiny turtwig plus watching all the Pokémon movies.
I’ve got like 65+ hours of gameplay for resetting 1700 times so far. Hopefully sometime soon I wanna play already but I’m too deep I can’t quit now. This is my first time actually sr. I wanna get as many hours as I can out of these remakes. I don’t wanna finish it in two days then never touch it again lol.

Very cool this is your first ever time doing soft resets. Kinda brings me back to my first time doing them, for me it was back in Pokemon Emerald for Treecko (also the grass starter)!
