The amount of connectors and sensors in the center console compared to my older Hondas is insane. I love the Acuity look

The reason Hybrid doesn't bother with the locking mechanism is because they assume you will be using their 16-21 Type R shift cables which lock in with the same type of tabs as the trans side uses stock. I have the Acuity that I installed all titanium bolts on because I'm OCD and the BIGGEST change was the Hybrid shift cables. Kind of a PITA job but WOW what a difference! I have had 17-19 Type R, 20-21 Type R. Hybrid trans side bushings, Seeker base bushings on 20-21, Acuity rocker on 20-21 and Seeker short shift attachment on 17-19. Installing the Acuity was a HUGE upgrade, then installing the Hybrid cables was a big upgrade and finally installing the Hybrid shift detent springs was big too. The shift detent springs MIGHT be too heavy with the Acuity shifter for some but I like it. I run an NA2 NSX Type R titanium ball knob or Spoon sports flat top aluminum knob. This is in my 18 Type R and yes, there is quite a bit more NVH. My next upgrade is to try the Hybrid clutch master which they claim gets rid of a damper but I already removed the clutch delay valve from the stock Type R slave cylinder which was SUCH an improvement! The slave clutch delay valve is HORRIBLE!
Props for showing people to use a torque wrench instead of just guessing at torques. :)
Haha thank you, me and Cooper are opposites I torq everything, but I was able to convince him to torque his shifter
2 Options. Either you used the lotion to lube up the shift cable or You really did owe Cooper a favor for helping out.

i was totally going to go with the hybrid too (until i saw this)..
just having the measurements lasered on the pieces is HUGE. you can ALWAYS pinpoint and finetune where you want it.

Hybrid has been doing Hondas for a long time. Go with Hybrid. Acuity isn't worth the extra money.
Acuity designed the "hybrid" shifters of old and then broke off to make his own
He is the actual engineer and worth the money
