These are great radios and easy to repair too! The replacement antennas are really cheap if you want one for yours or just bend over the top bit of wire to make it a bit safer! Watch the power jack - this is a real weakness of their design and can cause the radios to not switch on at all if faulty. The main complaint is the fact that at a distance they are very 'boomy' and they have no tone control at all. I guess it is an accident of the design (and something most people would not notice) but the speakers are set up for binaural listening which does affect the tone at a distance. It reminds me of working on old cassette tape decks - a massive box with not much in it but the chunky design is fun regardless! Glad you are enjoying yours and with some tinkering you can power the bluetooth adaptor from the radio too!
I'm actually thinking of getting one of these for the shed. They're brilliant radios. My question is, I've noticed some are digital and others have BT. Not sure why they don't have both unless you buy a brand new one?

Oh forgot to say that some radios have IPX4 marked on the rear label - check yours for that too.
It is! And I when I found it was completely wet and I am surprised it still worked.
explain the small aa battery why/what is that for?
Keeps the clock on
Also remembers your preset stations when the battery’s removed.
