I havent seen big sales deals in the stores this year like the years past. They dont even have the sinage like in the past either. The stores didnt seem as packed with customers either.

End of consumer grade tools is coming. 1. Fewer people own a home 2. Fewer people know to fix stuff 3. Fewer things are easily repairable or serviceable 4. Boomers are going to be dying and their old quality tools will be everywhere (it's already happening). 5. Even if you have the skills and tools, finding parts to fix things is becoming impossible (Manufactures no longer supply the parts). 6. A lot of devices remain mechanically sound but the electronics fail. I expect in probably the next 5 years an end of the HART, KOBALT, HUSKY, CRAFTSMAN brand of tools.

Our Home Depot has a lot of so-called deals. I'll drive another 15 minutes to Harbor Freight and get what i want to get, Menard isnt doing so good atm also, fleet farm..kinda because i only go there for somwthing else rater then tools

food is priority over tools.We spent over $500 on groceries for the week of Christmas and New Years. Before O'Bidens economic blunder it was around $300. Sadly these prices aren't going back down. Trump will have to have a magic wand to fix that.

eBay has a lot of guys selling barely used items that were returned. They produce so much product that the red M’s stuff is way over priced. Depending on the item eBay is a deal and a half since I have the batteries.

It's the same stuff they put out every year I avoid the wrench sets because they skip sizes and the prices on everything didn't really seem any cheaper then any other time of year

I got one of those jobs where even if the economy crashes i'll still have a job at krogers distribution center as maintenance as this is a highly paid job and theres overtime and they always need maintenance there 24/7

I've been an airline mechanic for 40 years. I replaced my original Aero box with a wood top Yukon a few years ago. I'm happy with it. All of the new kids are coming in with some really nice US General boxes. My nephew is a newly minted A&P mechanic so I steered him towards Harbor Freight. While we were looking at the boxes the plastic locks really jumped out at us. It's a plastic slide that only latches on one end of the drawer. You can pull the drawer out and make it twist. Very disappointing. We went to the local Menards and found better boxes at better prices. The drawer latches are all metal. There is a hook on both ends of the drawers and it's a squeeze bar to unlatch. The boxes are better built, have deeper drawers, and are a better price. I'm thinking about bringing my Yukon home and getting a Menard's box.

Brunt boots are not for any level of work in the field.first brunt says it's a work boot in there marketing scam and paid reviews.now if anyone is looking for a work boot 300$'and up.i bought a pair for cutting my lawn and L/R outer soles from heal to arch separated.there not worth the money they charge from a blue collar working man and woman.

The Lowe's by me is pathetic in comparison to the one shown here. Very small tool department. I don't shop it much. I once went in for a Kobalt ripping hammer because it was on sale and I needed hammers for a side job. They were out-of-stock because someone had made off with $800-$900 in tools they stole off the sale endcap a few hours earlier...

So this video (Part 13) concludes all of the known repairs that this truck needed and the truck is at 100% with no issues. I of course expect to have things break in the future and so this series will continue for as long as I own the truck. Thanks for watching!

Holiday deals this year were trash

The V-Series XL long Wrenches, box end/ratcheting flex head, those flew off the shelf across the country. Had a buddy buy some and when I went to buy my own they are all gone. Traveled out of state since then and no luck. Everything else is there and not selling.

It's because all of these "black friday / cyber monday" deals are the same price as normal retail prices in 2019!!

I would never buy tools at Lowe’s. Home Depot Menards is China garbage

I think its funny when people (like this guy) get excited about “Battery” centered “Deals”. The marketing here is this … Once they can get you onto a specific “Battery Platform” YOU WILL basically be FORCED to buy Their Tools (good, bad or ugly) because the batteries are SUPER Expensive and EVERY Battery is Specific to ONE Tool Brand. Basically, they’re willing to “give” you a pretty good deal on a Tool & Battery kit because THEY KNOW that you”ll need More Batteries and EVERY Battery Tool after that will HAVE to be THEIRS.

Well, maybe if their prices weren't so sky high!!! Ridiculous.

Years past Home Depot had specials that I wanted to buy. The past few years they have had junk specials like Ryobi, Milwaukee, and Defiant.

Tools are often bought 'one & done', unless you lose or break one. At a certain point many people will have all the tools they need. People just starting out are getting some good deals that may not last, especially if there are tariffs put in place. Most tools are now made in China or somewhere else overseas - check the country of origin on the box!

I wonder if they will mark it down even more on 12/26? That Lowes has a ton of stock left on the shelves at this point. The Home depot near me isn't much better. The take away is the American consumer is flat out fatigued from 4 years of inflated pricing.

I recently went to Walmart to get a great deal on a cordless Hypertough brushless angle grinder, reciprocating saw, & a oscillating tool. Home Depot & Lowes holiday sales don't motivate me for the price.

California just changed the law on retail theft. That may be a reason why a lot of this stuff is just sitting there nobody’s stealing it.

Thank you for showing other power tools in Home Depot and going over what it is. Too many people showing just Black Friday or holiday tool deals but don’t go over other tools in the store. This is great, thank you!

These aren’t deals that’s the problem. That’s why they’re not selling. For anything worthwhile. I’ve hit Lowe’s every weekend since Black Friday. The deals are the same and if they do drop it’s like 5 bucks. The best two deals I saw this Christmas was at us depot and I bout both. 8 tool rigid set with a 2 and 4ah battery for 299. and a rigid 6 gallon compressor with auto stapler Brad nailer and finish nailer for 200$. To good to pass up

I needed a small socket set and went to Ace hardware and they had a Craftsman set on sale for $14. I was surprised at the quality

I spent 45 minutes in the tool dept. in the Lowe’s closest to me. Not one associate working in the tool dept. stood in the aisle to see if any associates would come and offer help. Watched 4 of them walk towards me , making eye contact, then when they get close, they would look down at the floor then look away from as they passed. One associate did it four times. Lowe’s isn’t trying to sell anything.
