I've ridden a handful of sport bikes and was never comfortable on them, so I've always ridden naked bikes with flat bars. Maybe I just need to get a sport bike and get it set up properly.
Thank you very much for those insights. They help a lot with judging whether your own position has still room for improvements. It reduces the amount of guessing and testing as you provide some pretty good indicators one can look for while having the bike on a rear stand.
I absolutely love these videos. As a new rider myself it’s helping me a lot to get more confident and consistent on track. Top class as always Sylvain 👏🏻👏🏻
Merci Sylvain pour tous ces conseils, et d'une manière générale pour tes vidéos très explicites, sans chichis. Tu arrives à rendre accessible à tous un tas de petites astuces que tu as acquises avec le temps. Un grand merci, et continue ! 🙏😉👍
Excuse me, how to set the position of the pedal rod behind the foot? Is it based on the location of the fuel tank? Or is it mainly about stepping on the posture of acceleration? Please guide me. Thank you.
How do you “open up the bars”? Are stock adjustable or do you need an aftermarket kit. This is my biggest issue with a proper gixxer (have a gsxs750 currently but want a gixxer eventually)
Hi Sylvain, I how are you? Have you heard anything about a new 1000 GSXR for the end of the year? I want to buy a 2022 but if a new one is coming soon, I'll wait so... Thank you for your answer and have a good day...
what a piece of information, the handle bar angle alone made a huge difference in balance. Quick question, then why do road bikes have a lot of angle on the clip ons any specific reason ?
Because they have headlights if you run race clip ons your master cylinder or lever may come into contact with the back of the headlight or the bodywork on full lock.
Wider bars = too aggressive body position for road use, wider bars = race position, narrow bars= upright riding = comfort on road. Wider bars are needed for track use, lever laws. It's a balancing game, nowadays almost all litre class bikes come with wide bar setup.
Hi Sylvain. Can we expect semi-regular updates, again? I subbed for months, but ended up cancelling as there weren't any new videos being produced. I love your content when you make it.
Not sure what you mean but different bikes have different base geometries. Just put your bike on a stand and do the same things as Sylvain did. After all, you want to be comfortable and have good access to controls.
Sylvain do you have any suits you don't need to donate bikers who have no money for a suit in Croatia an old suit is better than nothing I would be grateful if you could not imagine how much will we save a lot of bikers from injury Greetings from Croatia and we regularly follow your lessons

Any setting that distracts or detracts on a hot lap needs adjusting, so take mental notes of the feedback. Great videos.
I'm late to this ,but everything you say makes good sense. Some adjustable clip-ons make even more sense. Subbed
Thank you silvain, really useful to hear from a legend !
Sunshine and 12 degrees outside. Your video is just in time. Cheers 🙂
This is gold for simple mortals like me.Thank you for taking the time to share with us sir 🙏🙏

Thanks so much Sylvain.
Finalmente un video sensato sulla posizione in sella. Sei sempre al top🚀🚀🚀
Super useful thanks Sylvain, sounds like I need to try opening out the bars a little on my K5 1000... 👍
Good stuff, just bought a new Tuono and noticed that the levers were a bit too high, almost parallel with the handlebars; time to fix them.
Excellent
Thanks Dude
Had to watch the video twice, once for the garage background the other for the info.
Could you talk a bit about your position/job as motogp testrider?
Thank you very much Sylvain, very useful advice!!!!!
I wish I had a training bike. Thanks for these videos and the insights, Sylvain.
Brilliant advice thank you 💫

Complimenti per la 24 hour
Do y’all use 7 degree angle clip on or zero degree?

Great videos!! Question: What brand tank cover/extender are you running on your training bike?

Wow 👌
2:40 why don't manufacturers set up the bars wider if that's better?

Hello Sylvain. What manufacturer clip ons are you using? And the tube degree?
I can't believe you need to *open* the bars compared to stock setup
Will you be swapping out your swingarm for the Suter or Yoshimura? You seem to be slowly but surely building a superbike here :)

Does it cost anything to sub?
@@pravesh736 I was referring to the paid membership, which provides access to extra videos.
Hi Sylvain, how would these measurements differ on an RSV4? Do you perhaps have these from your Aprilia days?
Not sure what you mean but different bikes have different base geometries. Just put your bike on a stand and do the same things as Sylvain did. After all, you want to be comfortable and have good access to controls.
If opening the bars is better, why don’t stock bikes like GSXR come “closed”?

Hi Sylvain, any new content for paying members? I stopped subscribing last year because there was no new content.
