UPDATE: I was easily able to pull the yellow branding stickers off of the monitor arm, after doing this there was no residue and looks great overall, huge pro!
was it just a sticker? I thought it was painted. Please confirm
If just a sticker a hair dryer should do the trick!
@@soumenmohanty1 its just a sticker.
@@soumenmohanty1 you don't even need a hair dryer, it comes off extremely easily by just pulling it with your fingers and leaves absolutely no residue
I think they did that on purpose too.
I only came for this and you dileveried
Those are lovely, I have two NB F100a and they've been my best friends for a while, provides a clean look, more space on the desk without the standard monitor stands and a lot of mobility to the monitors
I already made my choice about halfway through the video but I ended up watching anyway because the editing and the guy speaking was pleasantly chill yet detailed. Nice review!
Thanks for the adjustment tip! This monitor is built solid and maximizes so much more space on the desk.
You explained it much better than the manufacturer's video. Shows everything I need to know. Thanks 👍🏻
Just bought it because of your review. Thank you. Great video
man i generally don't trust UA-cam reviews or recommendations but the way you tested and explained every single detail, glad i watched your video, thank you, this product is so sturdy that i had a shorter hdmi cable when i tilted the screen the port on my monitor broke and came out,its totally my fault, so be carful.
Thank you very much for the vlog. I had some doubt about the product , but know i saw thats its very stong one. I just placed my order!
Eyyy i use this one. Glad you make a review of it.
incredibly useful review , big props man.
Thanks for testing ultrawide 😍
this was such a great video, shows everything i need to know. thanks a lot
Just installed my own, great explanation!
Thank you for this video dude! just bought this monitor arm immediately after watching this!
Just bought it too, How is it so far?
The best North Bayou review.
Hey man, I wasn't even looking for a monitor arm. But I just watched your video and decided to order it.
Watching on my monitor connected to the same arm. Great budget option ❤
you are such an underrated reviewer
I bought this a few days ago and was sceptical of its quality due to the low price but after watching some videos of people who insisted it was solid I ordered it. For those in doubt: this is an amazing product for its price! Might take a little tinkering to get it to work the way you want but it really is worth it. Also, I realized they kinda ripped off the New Balance logo lol you can peel the yellow brand badges off very easily
Can it tilt vertically?
Great video man, I've used some of those arms and they are the best to gain space on the desk. Btw nice lamp would you mind to share the brand or reference of it?
I just got one and am definitely going the grommet as it is much cleaner and more positionable. Great vid. Thanks.
Will this arm be good for a samsung odyssey g7 curved 27inch? Someone pls pin
@@kabishnando4286of course
i have the 34 g7
@@kabishnando4286 if it is VESA compatible then yea
@@aronetitong8647 6 months gone by lol yea I bought it
Very impressive and easy installation product!!
i´m about to install this stand, thanks for testing even with a UltraWide 34"
It’s good with 34 monitor inch. I have 32 monitor inch and I want to buy it
Thank you for your effort!
I just installed this arm, thanks to your video! Super ez to install and it works great!
Will this arm be good for a samsung odyssey g7 curved 27inch? Someone pls pin
Very helpful, ty!
Hi there, thanks for the great review, Im gonna get the arm. I also love your desk- where did you get it??
Had a Xiaomi Mi Curved 34 ultrawide mounted on this mount. It was ~17lbs, so significantly lighter than the LG ultrawide. It had no problems handling that.
I have the same screen I will do the same
This is just what I was looking for! I have a curved 32" Dell monitor and ive been needing a good arm to get rid of the heavy base lol
Update: works amazingly. Took a little finangling with the tensions to get it to stay up but I haven't had any issues!
@@1155media does the monitor shake when you type on your keyboard?
@KhaledSham yes it does, especially if I'm typing aggressively. It has more to do with my desk, though, since I have a sit-stand desk with a fairly high and heavy center of gravity.
@@1155media Oh well that's not nice. Did you use it while playing games with your keyboard? how was it?
@@KhaledSham it's still pretty solid! Not a whole lot of movement when playing.
Nice, first time watching your channel and i liked it! one more sub
I just bought it for $15 here in Indonesia, works perfectly.
I empathize with those individuals who purchased the item and initially perceived it as being of poor quality, when in fact they just needed to adjust the grip. Fortunately, I came across a video that provided me with this valuable information. I was concerned about potentially wasting a significant amount of money on my Gigabyte 32-inch monitor, but now I feel relieved. 😆
30$ isn’t a significant amount
@@solid_viper95I wouldnt agree with you but mans fr has a gigabyte 32inch so ik he could of afforded a few more
@@relodev I'm pretty sure he meant he didn't want to risk his Gigabyte monitor by using a "cheap/budget" monitor arm, he just wrote it wrong. lol
@@TarekElsakka yeah your right, still tho gigabyte monitors are expensive
@@relodev yes they are, especially where I live. The QHD Aorus ones are ridiculously expensive here. I bought that monitor arm a few days ago and it has been amazing, by the way. I have a 27" ViewSonic OMNI VX2728J-2K weighs around 10 pounds and the arm is very sturdy, no issues at all.
Great review! Just made my mind up and bought off Amazon for $23!
Did u get it? if so how is it so far?
@@tmorsplanet7945 So far it’s been great! Can’t beat that price for what it does. The stickers peel off easily as well! I would definitely purchase again.
that's it!!!!
I'm buying one!!!
been using this arm for 2 years, and i might say it's the best purchase on my setup
The screen is not wobbling when you type?
@@eviassor789 it wobbles depends on ur table
@@ryushidou4 already bought it, for me it wont wobble because my table is good, just as you say
happy about my purchase.
Hi great video i loved it, what is the model of that asus tuf monitor
Bought one a little different but same brand it is stiff, and doesn’t sag at all with an ultra wide.
I would love some links to the wallpapers in this video !
I currently use an Asus 24-in give him monitor and I got this monitor arm and I assembled everything correctly and attach the monitor to the arm however from what I can tell the monitor itself is too light at 24 in and even if I adjust the gas spring and try to push the arm down it goes right back up so I'm going to get a much newer monitor maybe like a Samsung Odyssey G8 34-in NC if it makes a difference anyways great video I'm enjoying what you're doing keep up the awesome content.
Sub $50 monitor arms will get you 99% of the way there. i bought a like $350 dual arm from Dell and i loved it visually but functionally was just not it, liked 2 single arms that i got for under $80 more.
Thank you 👌🏼
In my country (ph) this monitor arm is like at 12$ usd and it is exactly the same thing at a cheaper price definetly buying it when my monitor arrives
I hope my monitor arm will be good with no defects, i just order yesterday.
What's the exact maximum height you can adjust until? I need something so my ultrawide can sit above my laptop and they don't touch edge to edge.
this brand use the same arm as Invision MX200 in Europe (i have it mounted into a 34 ultra wide monitor and its working perfectly), btw really nice video and explaination!
do you recommend it for AOC 34inch?
@@3ipiii sure, Already have a year with this arm, and works like a charm.
@@AlexandruBabel thx man
Where did you get those filing cabinets that your table top is sitting on?
Link for the two plants and the two lights on the desk please 🙏🏻
crazy these things go for $12 from where I'm from. just got mine and installed it today
What’s the name of the desk. It looks perfect for my room
I have this as a arm for my secondary 27 incher. Does the job with no complaints other than the ugly yellow logo that I try and cover with my deskmat 😅
I did remove them 😅
@@techwolfcave howd you remove them?
@@sanjaypersaud9695 mine was just a plastic logo that was stick on the arm. I just remove them and cleaned the residues. Maybe that was the outdated version. I think this one is the new one, i guess.
Just put a sticker over it ;)
bought the one with stronger gas springs for a 34inch UW. damn. shud've bought this one
Have this arm, and it is PERFECT for 24-inch monitors
But when I upgraded to a 28-inch ASUS the tilt becomes stiff, surprised he didn't see that as a down side
But I am fidgety when it comes to adjusting my monitor so if you always keep yours at the same tilt then it shouldn't be an issue
how is the joint lubricants after long term use
THX BRO
Question, my desk is like yours sitting kinda flush against the wall, maybe 1.5cm space. Can I mount this arm right in the middle and fold it in a Z shape position so that my monitor can sit flush against the wall and move closer to me when needed?
Is there anything like dr octavius arm for holding monitor? Like the way it’s flexible?
ts so cool, got it for $20 on amazon
Nice review! Does anyone know what’s the model of the 27inch monitor? The color of it is so sharp !
i think its hyperx armanda monitor. Its 1440p 165hz ips. And IPS what makes it look sharp. its 400 bucks. I think its overpriced idk why, you'll find cheaper but better options
This is a good monitor arm. Those saying negative stuff about it just don't know how to do proper adjustments.
my monitor won’t move up or down do u know what to do
@@asher3527 U can see that he loosened the tension if it's too tight
Wow this guy bought 4 brand new monitors just to test a $30 arm.
THX MY BRO I THOUGHT I GO CARZY BCS I CANT PULL DOWN THE MONITOR YOU SAFE ME 🥰🤗👍👏
WHAT DID YOU DO I HAVE THIS EXACT PROBLEM WHERE I CANT PULL IT UP OR DOWN
GREAT REVIEW, however, On my dell u2410 it simply DOES NOT hold up, it's way too heavy for the arm and i have returned it for the more sturdy and pricy big brother one. :(
How many centimeters are there from the wall to the back of the monitor if I push as much as possible against the wall?
I have a metal bar on the bottom of my desk goin around will it have enough clearance ?
I'm using a monitor in my bed , while sleeping. So can i turn monitor 90 degrees, to face monitor to the table surface?
Magnifique! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Would the base of the arm damage the table?
Can this be installed on glass table?
The logo dont bother me at all. Because NB brand name is a number 1, wall mount in Hong Kong
32" G8 almost wants to sag, and if I mess around too much it will, until it doesnt. I cant figure out which alan key -point is the one that fixes tilt. If its the one I think it is, its so tight I cant figure out which way is tighter and which way is looser and its locked up....if LOOSER makes it less prone to tilt, well...that's very counter intuitive, and if TIGHTER makes it less prone to tilt, well its so tight I may have stripped it yet it still wants to sag. The G8 is only 15 pounds and the weight limit is 20 so this kinda sucks.
Can you test the Arctic 1x-3d
I just installed a 17.20 lbs 38" on it this arm. So far so good!
How’s it doing now
@@VosxxTV it's fine for my purposes. I move and adjust it once in a while depending on use case.
did u have a problem where it doesn’t go up and down? cus i just installed mine and i can’t adjust the height.
@@asher3527 Try adjusting some of the tightening screws. You have to hold the monitor while you work or it may drop onto your desk. Be careful
Yep, I’m very sold on this rn
5:23 i think thats sUPER SOLID
So this arm work good with Samsung Odyssey G5 32"?
Does it tilt vertically?
Quick question though, would it hold the Innocn 40 inch ultrawide that you reviewed not that long ago? Lol
probably not

I have NB F80 to using for Msi 34" MAG342CQR Ultrawide Monitor. The arm holds it but it doesn't let me set tilt adjustment. I have to tighten the screw well. When I loosen the screw enough to adjust it manually, the screen leaves itself downwards. So I bring it to the angle I will use and tighten the screw well. Is there an another way to adjust tilt manually? Thank you.
I would cover up that logo with my hand when there are visitors coming to my house.
In 2024 the price is $37 should I still get it?
I just randomly came across this video and I saw it was about the arm that I own. I have the MSI MAG274QRF-QD 27" monitor on it and I'd say it works great. Had no problems with it and I recommend it.
Okay I know this may be a dumbass question, but I haven’t seen him do it in the video! can you have the arm swing to the left as well and have it oriented that way? trying to use this for my second monitor to have it almost bezeled on the left of my main monitor!
It's all metal. Its just have platic covers because metal parts are not covered by paint.
The ultra wide was 13.5Lbs? Idk, that seems way too light Are you sure its not 13.5 kilograms?
You can just used a black marker on those logos anyway.
How do i move the monitor down ???
Does anybody know if the mount is working on a table that has an angle on the back of the plate?
My table has an angle and after about 5-6cm it is normal horizontal..
Anyone have issues with connecting it to the desk? I can’t reach the highest hinge and the tightener isn’t long enough to reach my desk
How mouch is the Arm ? ^^
for some reasons when i tilt the monitor it makes a huge noise. if i reduce the strength with the allen key the arm cant hold the monitor in position. does anyone know if its my arm problem or if there is a way to fix it?
Hey so my table is pretty big and I might have to permanently keep the arm extended if I want to use this, has anyone been using it while almost always extended for a long time? How's it holding up?
It’s a great deal for 30 bucks
Does anyone know what is the clamp width? I don't have much space on my desk
Did the guy mention the price? I think I missed it.
What's your Desk name ???
Can anybody give me an idea of how far from the wall the monitor is with this mount? I'm looking for one as flush with the wall as possible
16:20 lol photoshopped the wires out under the desk
great
Does anyone know where can I buy the VESA Adapter Plate
Are m4 10 mm screws included with the monitor arm?
Where to get the led desk lights
Can anyone tell me what the Invision MX200 is like ? It looks very similar to the North Bayou to me but I prefer it on the aesthetic level.
Same generic product from China sold under different brand names. I got the MX 200 yesterday. Thought it was a quality brand from England but it just from another back alley factory in China. I don't like it all. Functionality is very poor. It's very hard to move except for moving it left and right. Tilt is impossible to get right. The screen either goes backwards or is very hard to move. Just a micro millimeter adjustment does this. Up down also extremely hard even with the adjustment screw at 100% loose. Swive, which has no adjustment, is also hard. In other words, its a piece of junk.
Compare this to one I tried in an office. That was butter smooth in all movements. With this crap, I'm actually afraid to ruin my 27 inch monitor because you have to grab it really hard , also because its so hard to get right. 6:46
Trying this out for a 42" LG c2, pray for me
How did it go mate?
@@muki. it works perfectly. easily recommend. Reddit almost had me buying the $250 ergotron

Is the arm working ?😮
@@sergiovaldezlopez9201 beyond sufficient. This thing is a beast. If I don’t loosen the tension it will like whip the monitor upward a full foot lol
does this mount work with any monitor because when I tired putting my crua 24inch monitor on it the backs didn’t match so I was confused
Depending on the monitor, it has to have VESA standard mounts, 75x75 or 100x100.
Sometimes the mounts are hidden by a removable plastic plate behind the monitor
