      I have a 5 monitor system. See my only film. 7:14 I prefer internal power, not external adapters, with the standard power cable. You mentioned the signal connectors and needing an adapter. Monitors always use only 1 connector, no matter how many you have. You simply connect the standard HDMI or DisplayPort cable to it, unless you have a second computer or other source. There are also single cables which have DisplayPort to DVI or HDMI to DVI on each end which I use.

    I just finished building my setup, this monitor was the one I used after watching multiple videos about it. 2 days have passes... I was playing Cs2 and it began flickering and then the screen went black. Nothing I did worked. Read some reddit reviews on it, and turns out this is very common with this monitor. Will be returning it.

      Broken monitors happens to everyone and every brand. You just got unlucky. People have praised LG/BenQ/MSI for making good quality monitors but my BenQ EX240 literally just nuked itself after 1 month while my friend's LG 27GN600 was dead on arrival lol. You will always read about Koorui dead monitors because its one of the most popular budget brands now. Popular=more people buying= larger sample size of failure and vocal complainers. I bought a 24E3 as a short term replacement for my EX240 and it still works today after I got a new main monitor. Still works perfectly as a 2nd monitor

    I have this exact monitor and one thing you missed is that the extreme overdrive mode is actually good, which is in my experience very rare.
    When I got it I turned it to "normal" because that is the best for every monitor I've had, but I tried extreme a few weeks ago and it is noticeably clearer on the UFO test, which is very unexpected since usually the max overdrive mode introduces more ghosting (= bad ufo test result) but on this one it is honestly the best option to use.

And i feel there are alot of people out there who do this to priortize fps. But all the youtubers are recommending good cpu and gpu combos for gaming at high graphic settings. So my question is if we competitive players should spend money on parts differently if we strictly want fps in games. Thank you :)

    But the DP cable that comes out of the box seems to be faulty for me. It always crashes everytime I try to open heavy load task. Is it also the case for you? Stuck with 144 hz hdmi for now

    I bought this monitor yesterday when i saw it was on sale. I didn't even bother checking any of the details or watching any reviews, so here i am, watching this review as it's being delivered to my house☠️
    I already have a 34 inch ultra wide curved KOORUI monitor, but i wanted something smaller for my more "chill" games. The curve that i have is nice, but unfortunately, i personally don't like it for every game.
    Hopefully it's good.

      you got a 32inch 1080p monitor??? If it's a budget thing for why you did that, then personally I think you should have gotten a slightly smaller monitor to get the most out of a 1080p image. Or possibly saved up a bit monitor a went for a 1440p if not 4k. Again, idk know your budget and I'm sure you had your reasons. But if you think 1080p at 32 inches is immersive, then dude, 4k at 32inches will blow your mind. 1440p is great too.

    The cheapter the monitors, the cheaper the materials used.
    I learned this the hard way. I got a about 150$ gaming monitor, and only 1.5 years later did the display show 2 white lines, one down the middle, and own horizontally.
    while is this a great deal, don't be surprised if it starts to fail early on. I'd personally go with a well known brand, like samsung. or some other brand that has a good reputation.

      Keep in mind, Koorui is owned by HKC, who makes panels for Samsung and LG, both TVs and monitors. This daughter company might be somewhat unknown and new but they are not new to making panels. I wouldn't be that worried.
      I assume this is why they can undercut the bigger brands in price, although the cheap materials probably also factors into that. I have this monitor and it definitely feels a bit cheap on the plastic for example.

    • @Triro
      @Triro 11 місяців тому

      @@rFey Just because it comes from the same factory, doesn't mean its better! You can have a top of the line TV come from a factory, and then the same factory would make some crappy cheap TV that would fail.
      Don't go too cheap on your parts, especially if you want them to last.

    • @rFey
      @rFey 11 місяців тому +1

      @@Triro Well yeah, obviously I don't mean they're putting the same panels in top end monitors as in low end ones. But there is a good chance the HKC panel in your 100 dollar Koorui is the exact same as the HKC panel in some 150-200 dollar LG monitor.
