Dump yout BIOS using USB programmer and change MAC using HXD hex editor. For Asus mobo with UEFI you can use FD44Editor. 2ND one option is better becuse you just open bios dump and program finds MAC automatically, so you don't have to mess with hex code...

heirtothestar you should be able to assign a random # but if you use the tool it should tell you your MAC address unless it has been altered. I would use 6 numbers and 6 letters

@I Might Be A Geek Thx brio, you save my time, because I removed bios chip to update the BIOS and I forgot to run it and check MAC and S/N first. I found them on the sticker as well, so it also works with Gigabyte mobos.
Mine ended up totally hosed with a bad UBU update process creating a bad flash - and this board doesn't have USB Flashback or any recovery technique, so I had to get a programmer, patch it together, etc. FD44Editor doesn't seem to put the data in the correct place; I put the data in there before flashing, and it doesn't take. However... my card is a Realtek NIC on an Intel board, not an Intel NIC! Still trying to find a way to fix it...
I did this and it seemed to change it, but unfortunately it caused me to not be able to connect to the internet, and when I ran on the NIC file in the tools folder, it shows my old mac address still. any ideas?
the "Int219" Eeupdate file should work? if not try the "Int219KB" Eeupdate file. Im guessing you already tried the "Int219". Also I dont know the reason for you changing the Mac but if you are changing it to a random Mac address and not the original one try using 6# and 6 Letters to make a total of 12 digits.

I dont think your Motherboard is compatible, you need a "Intel Lan" your motherboard has a "Atheros PCIEx1 LAN AR8132" you can try but I dont think it will work.

It changed in Windows but not in Bios. Original MAC Address Bios still stands. :(

It should contain only numbers 0123456789 and letters ABCDEF
Nothing else. For example - 0123BBEFC3A7
There are generators for it - use google.

You have to make a bootable USB pen drive and put the necessary files there. Then boot in Legacy mode with that same USB pen drive previously created.
