I guess that's why more men tend to choose technician careers and women tend to choose careers that deal more with communication. I am in the IT feild and have been obsessed with electronics since childhood.
That certainly would be plausible. However we need to be careful to not confuse Correlation with causation. There could also be other reasons why men choose more technical areas.

that is a problem that we not only encounter with men and women but with humans in general. Often we struggle to understand each other but as long as you'll keep on open mind you'll do quite fine

We don’t have to have different values, we just have different skill sets and different ways of processing situations and the world. Yes men and women are different but that doesn’t mean we can’t get along! Hope this makes sense. 😊

What’s interesting is I think I have a more “masculine brain” 🧠 I mean I’m very girly in the way I dress etc but I have ADD which has some autistic traits, my social skills suck, I miss social cues, and more things. I’ve always felt kind of an outcast with other girls growing up, not in like a “I’m not like other girls” way it actually kind of sucked cause I wanted to be but hey it’s me. This is only a hypothesis lol. I still participate in more “girly” activities but I just go about it all differently. I didn’t have the same interest as the boys either, I related to more girls but I would “do too much” simple but it was the most hurtful thing cause I heard it a lot. Girls with ADHD tend to be the quiet girl and I became that after being bullied out of my weirdness.

I am not trying to be unpolite, but I am happy to be a man too. Don't you get annoyed by how many perverts there are in this world? I don't know, but for me it is so comfortable to not be approached by the opposite sex every day for stupid reasons. It is also very nice that people don't make pervert jokes about me, or at least this kind of jokes occurs more rarely for me than for girls.
Being a man is amazing, I'm glad to be born one. We might have our own challenges and obstacles, but it's all worth it. I'm sure it's amazing being a woman too

One thing that I wonder about is that, assuming that genders do have different brain structures and psychology, could one train himself/herself to have the same strengths as their opposite gender counterparts? I keep hearing from many "macho" guys going on about how men are more logical but I have known many women who are logical and are good at controlling their emotions (like, my mother is more calm than my father, who gets angry more easily. She was even a boss in her job until she retired). On the other hand, for all the talk about how men lack emotional intelligence and empathy, I have seen many men who are empathetic and help out with relationships.
So, while people are bickering with how men and women are different psychologically, I want to know if there is a way for the strengths to be shared and the weaknesses to be eliminated or reduced.
As with most things I'm pretty sure that parts of it can be trained. Reading faces through simply interacting with more people or learning logical thinking by immersing oneself in something like computer science or mathematics is probably a great start. One can probably get better in certain areas. Whether one is actually able to completely close the gap is a different story, since an advantage in a specific field that developed over many years might still prevail. Additionally, some things might be linked to hormonal differences and with those, it will be a lot more difficult to close the gap. If men tend to think a little bit more aggressive and confrontational while women pursue a more calming approach due to a hormonal difference (e.g. testosterone) then it will be tough to change that. Sure you can train yourself (if you have a confrontational, high testosterone attitude) to be more calm but will you ever be as calm as a naturally calm women that even trained herself to be calm? probably not. Hormonal differences obviously vary, there can be women with high testosterone and men with low testosterone but on average those hormonal differences can create a gap that may not simply be trained away.
Also, this is just a theoretical example to illustrate the point. You'd have to look up how big the link between testosterone and confrontational behavior actually is.
@@PersonalPower In regards to the calmness point, I find it strange. When I think of spiritual people or those who mastered calming practices like meditation, I think of both men and women being equally calm, perhaps only getting aggressive when the need arises like self-defense.
The thing that frustrates me the most is seeing so many men going on abiut how "women can't achieve logical greatness as men" or "men control their emotions. Women can't". For a long time, while I did understood that men and women had some psychological differences in general, they both shared the same level cap (in rpg terms) and could train themselves to be equal. After all, don't brains need to adapt to the situation through neuroplasticity? Anyway, what angers me thr most is how people use this to perpetuate that equality cannot be achieved rather than, you know, try to find a way around this wall so people can find a solution to equality. As a cis-male, it pains me when either gender puts each other down instead of helping sort out weaknesses.
@Cade Thumann well when you think of people that mastered meditation and calmimg practices then those are the extreme outliers and not your normal everyday people. You can't quite compare the extremes between genders because the male/female monk will both be incredibly calm since they maxed that skill out (100 vs 100). But when you compare the average of males and females then you will inevitably recognise differences (e.g. men 45 and women 55). When maxed out the differences become insignificant but in normal situations there are differences. And yes brains need to adapt to the circumstances but brains also need to be challengened to go through change if men dont explicitly expose themselves to certain situations then their brains don't need to adjust to that situation, the same goes for women. Now the situations that we are exposed to partially depends on social programming and gender roles in that way the differences are also "bred" if you would like to call it Like that. Now gender roles seem quite outdated today and maybe we shouldn't train people into gender roles but that would pose the question whether striving for absolute equality is really something that we should aspire to. Equality would also mean that you have to expose people to the same situations. You could level the playing ground and maybe get most people on the same level but that would also mean that we lose parts of our identity. The monk can't put all his skill points into meditation anymore because he needs to spend them on logical thinking so he can be equal to everyone else. This might be controversial but the urge to desperately create equality in all life areas inevitably leads to a loss of diversity. If you want all colors to be equal then you are eventually left with only grey. I'm not saying that equality in skills like calmness cannot be reached but if it were to be reached then everyone would be at 50 and no one at 100 and I personally take learning from a monk that actually capped out that skill over learning from the average desk worker any day! Inequality is certainly horrible when it comes to access to food, education, opportunities and so on but when it comes to other things then inequality allows diversity which is a good thing.
I personally dont see the differences between men and women as putting each other down but as a way of supplementimg each other. A mathematician with logic 100/100 and a Monk with calmness 100/100 will do much more good then two people with each 50/100 logic and 50/100 calmness. The total amount of skill points is the same but two average students with 50/100 logic each will not be able to combine their efforts and achieve what one logician with 100/100 in logic achieves.

Of course, the practice is not easy, but the scientific method was never meant to be easy, just something to understand and work out. At the very least, it sounds like the smartest woman could rival the smartest man with the right type and amount of training.
Of course, I wasn't trying to say that people should be pressured to be exactly equal. When I said that genders out each other down, I really have seen that, with some men stating that traditional "masculine and feminine roles" be enforced as opposed to an option as they believe that women can't compete in male-dominated occupations. When I asked you the question, I was wondering if there was an option for people to identify and solve the problem with training.
I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to be good at more than one mental skill set. Like, a meditating person could strive to be great at science between meditation sessions, and a brilliant scientist could meditate between work. In fact, meditation and studying can go hand in hand.
We men are simple. We eat, go to work, sleep, multiply and repeat. We don't go through this hormonal change crap, but we do care for our brothers
This video makes so much sense to me. I was born male but I have feminine brain, feminine emotions, feminine soul. I react, think, feel, behave just like women do. I'm a woman inside but I looked like a man outside. It has been painful. This is why I'm in Male To Female transition. Being in the wrong body made my life harder. I can relate to women but 99% of the time I don't relate to men at all. I appreciate men but I have no commonality with men.

You mentioned women not worrying about social hierarchy. The rest of the video is good but this is way off. Women obsess with social hierarchy, with the fashion they wear, "being seen with a louis vuitton handbag", they select only men taller and on average 20% higher income. Men are way flatter, all wearing the same cloths and only engaging with hierarchy (flashy behaviour) when trying to initiate a relationship with a woman who he knows is obsessed with it. Besides, you should meet my sister, she categories everyone into a class to an insane degree.

I relate with a lot of guys my age but also feel like a complete weirdo. By still being a virgin of course. Im not a sex machine but, I can flick the switch if that’s what it takes. As a woman, I have had men do something for me without asking and it's actually kind of shocking. sometimes I think they assume it would be too difficult for me (too heavy usually) even when it isnt. No one expects a shorty to lift something heavier than 25 lbs I guess.

Men dont help women out (whether it be lifting a heavy object or anything of that sort) because they think you are weak, simply helping other people by lifting anything for someone else gives us a feeling of worth and shows to the other people that we are capable of such feats, regardless of even if they care. Many men take pride in their work because of the before mentioned reasons, it’s basically just seaking validation in any way possible. That and also that men are taught to help women, but this is really not a huge reason until after they have helped with the task as you have bragging rights and can therefore use it to show up others.

If I understand it correctly, you are talking about men and women in general and how hormones can affect our body. But what about more "masculine" women or more "feminine"men?( i don't necesserily refer to style but more to behaviour and so on) Even if such behaviour is more uncommon it still occurs. Is this because of hormonal or brain differences? And can this have an impact on sexuality?
This might not be the answer that you are looking for but I'm assuming it can be due to hormonal and brain differences. Hormones probably just influence how frequently you want to be intimate whereas your brain regulates the sexual orientation/preference.

I was gonna make a paper Santa mask with drawn lips, put a mistletoe on my hat, offer kisses to women in downtown, and then reveal hershey kisses. *_Of course_* I wasn't planning to get actual kisses; it was merely fun to make women laugh. Three women and a guy I know told me it was risky. One of them, who I texted about the plan, said "you may wanna rethink your plan a little, it might make some people uncomfortable, especially if they don't know who you are." What's sad is we really got along yesterday when walking to our houses. We weren't even planning it, it was just pretty much the same route. I felt like we were good friends, but now I wonder if I "betrayed" that and changed her impression of me. She hasn't messaged me when I replied "Thats why I mention and pull out hershey kisses." I'm _preeetty_ sure she's not ignoring me; she usually delays or forgets to reply, and it took her the next morning to respond to my xmas plan. Plus, she'd told me during the walk she would be busy. The women are super easy to understand. Women only need two things to be happy and content. They need to feel desired. They need to feel beautiful, and they need attention. Example: We often hear that the girlfriend goes to sleep with the best friend, and why is that? Let's say that the boyfriend and the girlfriend have been together for five years. The boyfriend doesn't look at his girlfriend anymore with the eyes of desire, but the best friend does. The boyfriend gives more attention to the best friend, but the best friend gives more attention to the girlfriend. Finally, the girlfriend goes to sleep with the best friend because he's giving her the two things that she needs. Being a male with female brain is extraordinarily abnormally unique. I think the sex part is something that really goes well when two persons speak the same sex language, which is verbal instead of visual. We get excited by the same way and can connect mentally. However getting to the sex part is difficult when both need the other person to show interest first since we both like to be the object of desire rather than the person desiring. And you're right I have never even though about group hierarchy. What the hell that even is? I guess that might have ruffled some feathers of men when I respect 0 % their hierarchical position. I usually speak my mind without worrying what is appropriate for the situation. I'm never disrespectful but they can see I just don't even notice it, and that really irritates them and causes unjust slander towards me. Fuck them. And I'm fking great writer but can't navigate to the damn washing room in my apartment house. And btw fast learner, abstract conceptual pattern recognition configuration leveled to the absolute maximum effectual capabilties. high IQ also btw. Also, do you have a crazy above average mental capacity? For me, I love to write as well, but I find it very hard nail down the small details (I can literally imagine the story in my head as a movie and have the entire plot planned out, but transferring it to paper is hard) and my writing takes longer than usual, so I just do other hobbies along side with writing.
Plus, when it comes to learning, I can’t learn something without vividly imagining doing it or watching someone do that thing. That’s how I learn to process words and language as well (imagining the word in Spanish and translating it to English; I can’t just look at a Spanish word and know what it means unless visually translate it) and I think it’s held me back in learning Spanish. Do most people learn like this?

For the second point, it's pretty stupid to make a pre-statement saying "I'm gonna talk about genetics and biology" and then basically saying "men are competitive" "women want to be happy and healthy" cause it's pretty bullushit. The reason here are SOCIAL and you can't just ignore that. Since young age women are called bossy if want to succed and there's a lot of pressure on males, cause they have to find a good job and feed the family... they are made competitive, it's not innate! Also if you could disclose articles and the actual studies about the "autistic" side of men, it would be intresting. And to be fair, we go to the bathroom in group not to talk in quiet but because we're scared of people opening the door on us. And this is a social outcome too, just like being scared of walking streets alone at night. I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other.
Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone.
Women tend to be more emotional, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more understanding, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more intuitive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way.
Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Men are usually much lonelier than women are. Men don't often talk about their personal problems with their male friends like how women do with their female friends. Females produce a lot more oxytocin than males do. And that's a reason why women tend to hug a lot more and be a lot more physically affectionate than men do.

As a woman, I don’t feel very comfortable around other women. I tend to enjoy my own company. I don’t like long conversations nor would people describe as warm or open. I been called cold, reserved, quiet, and blunt at times. Not every woman fits the stereotype.

We care about the social hierachy/status of men we are intrested in . It signifies alot about the person but women dont think about sex as much as men. The part in the brain where we think about sex is 200% bigger in males.

Oh if you can do something on your own without too much effort than that is always preferable. You should only ask for help if you need it and if it makes sense.
It seems like these ideas is aiming at a goal. Most of these subjects points to men should find a way to level up to women. So if that is the case and these ladies can read these things would it make sense that they should undestand men and sympathize with us since we are how we are. I may be wrong, but as a women, I’ve noticed that girls just are a lot more complicated, even to me. They want complex things, our minds are always over analyzing things, and we’re just a lot more wordy. Guys seem to know exactly what they want and it’s simpler. And I actually really like that about guys, it’s refreshing after all the overly complex things we girls do, and guys are really fun to hang out with. (Don’t tell anyone, but I prefer guy friends over girl friends. They’re just so much more laidback.) 😜

I agree with most of this. I haven’t watched your alpha vs beta vid yet, but I have to believe you’re confused. Go out and act like a beta. You might get a girl to like you, until an alpha comes along. The term alpha relates to status, and the main reason men care so much about status is because women care. These are social differences that can be learned and trained. I've seen a lot of women and men with personal experience that speak against your claims.
