I was laughing hard because I can really relate to this. But then, it suddenly hit me.
If you think about it, though, women asking men what they're thinking and get mad when they get "nothing" and accuse you for that, is the actual opposite of when men asking women the same question and get the same answer and we, men, go "okay." and they get mad at you and accuse you for "not being interested in what they're really thinking because you didn't insist to get an answer".

Actually this is true. Men, sometimes think they are over thinking thier brain with work, monthly bill etc etc. Its a blessing that man can just "remove" anything from their mind and be in relax mode, just like that. Zero, and empty. Its almost like a recovery mode. Men can relax in this state and use their brain in another things important next time.

I would rather they just chill out too...or ask a specific question they want to talk about. Highly open ended questions like "what are you thinking about?" are brain scramblers. I think "Shit! Now I have make up some sort of topic to avoid jealousy, suspicion, arguments and chaos when I was happy as a clam doing nothing, thinking nothing enjoying myself".

Well as a girl, alot ask me what I'm thinking about because I would usually just zone out and swim into my own thoughts. Now the weird thing is, I don't know what to answer because usually I'm either thinking when I should eat or what should I eat or organizing in my head what to do first ( like cleaning, studying, watching anime, gym......). The annoying thing is I do answer and say the truth and they just look at me like as if I lied. I think the problem about me is that when I'm in my own thoughts I usually smile or have weird face expressions. 😂

Express sympathy to my panic attacks and just be there so its not as bad. Meanwhile my solution helped her overcome it after struggling for years even though she didn't want a solution and was very against it in the start. Women tend to think that emotions > logic is always the case. When something has been bothering you for a long ass time and you just seek emotional support or distractions in order to reduce the problem or forget about it then you NEED A SOLUTION. Solutions are there so you don't end up bottling 50 different problems on top of each other and then burst it out on your man because he "doesn't understand you". When most of the damn time he damn well knows what you need but you don't even think you need it. I mean that's why men are on top of everything, rationality isn't short term solution. If something f-ed up happened in your life then you need support for the time being. But after a while you MUST address it for you and for your partner. Because it will always backfire.
Example - your ex cheated on you and now you have trust issues. You distract yourself with alcohol, friends and all that shit and eventually you forget. But the trauma and thoughts are always inside your head. And that's when you find a new partner you will be obsessed with his life. You don't give a shit about his privacy, you have no trust in him. And all that is because you're too busy defending your feelings from something that might not even happen rather than realizing that not everybody is like your ex and that you just picked the wrong person for currently unknown reason for you - because you don't want to go deeper into your emotions and see what went wrong.
When a woman shares something with her boyfriend its often a problem she currently has that she prefers to b1tch about rather than work on it. Some things are better when you rant about them - Sure. But most of the time its you digging yourself into a deeper grave while taking your significant other in the meantime.
