Noisebaas: The Making Of An Album (part 1)

The next few videos are about the process of making a new album based on sculpting noise with a Serge system. After long contemplation I decided to use samples of my live recordings in order to create completely new tracks, more focused on structure and rhythm.
In this first video you can see a part of one of the long sessions which are focused on listening to the live recordings and choosing short samples from them to load into a sampler. Then I do some basic sound-shaping and see where it goes. Sometimes I will program a sample into the sequencer and sometimes I will have the sample play as a loop and I'll trigger it manually.
