Good earbuds, but are really let down by connection issues. They can work for several weeks to suddenly not connect automatically. The methods in this video usually work then. There is also a failure mode where the buds connect and immediately drop the connection. When that happens the normal solutions don't work including rebooting the phone. When that happens I put the buds in the case and connect a USB cable and let the case charge for a while, then the buds start working again.
@@mtn747 the code responsible for the BT connection is probably written by Qualcomm since it's their chip that does the communication. If so then Bose are dependent on them delivering a fix.

For everyone having issues, i tried disconnecting everything. 1.Make sure you “forget” the device from you bluetooth settings. 2. Put earbuds in case and close 3. Charge it and while charging hold the back button 4. Wait for blue light. 5. Wait for a white light that blinks for a second 6. Reconnect and it should work. (this is basically just a hard reset) This worked for me. Comment if you fixed it another way or if this worked for you. Pls thumbs up for future ppl
I’ve tried resetting so many times, but after inserting the earbuds into the case(while on the charger) and holding the Bluetooth button for over 30 seconds, the light flashes white, then instead of turning blue, it turns solid orange and cuts off. My earbuds have been in the charging case overnight but it seems like the right one is not wanting to charge I guess
@@ashtonharding6387 i might be wrong but check to see if the rubber part is aligned correctly. You can check the bottom to see if the “R” symbol for right is correctly placed. Sometimes they don’t charge for that reason

If this method doesn't work for you,try this one. It worked for me. No app needed. Plug headphones into charger with headphones inside. Open the case. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for about 30 seconds until it flashes blue. It will then flash white a few times. When it flashes blue and the white, it means it's working. Take the cord out and check your phone or other Bluetooth device that you're teying to connect. It should be paired.
Do you know why i still have this damn yellow light after doing everything else? Do i need to update the app and the ear buds? Im confused.. best bud compare to my samsung
None of these worked I've tried everything, they connect when they feel like it Update figured it out, but it's annoying because it happens at least once a week
@@goldlair3300 deleted the app, and made my device forget the headphones. Then re download the app, bluetooth them again and haven't had a issue in a while
What worked for me with Android. I think step 4 is the key as it's getting connected consistently for me after that). 1. Hard reset the device (steps at tge end). 2. In pairing mode, open the app and let it pair (didn't use the Android pairing approach). 3. Once it is connected (it does connect after the steps above), do the reqd. settings you want to do in the app. 4. : When you're done with the settings, when you press the back button to step back to the page where it shows the battery for each earbud, launch the Android app switcher (left most soft key where it shows the open apps), close the Bose Music app. DON'T go to the main app setting and Force stop. - The next time you open the App, it connects fine. I think simply coming out of the app using the back/minimize button/switching to another app, holds some resources and this prevents the connection the next time you launch the app. Hard reset steps: 1. With the buds in the case and case closed and charger connected, keep the pairing button pressed for 30 secs, after which the LED will blink white 5 times. 2. Open the case, don't take the buds out and press and hold the pairing button till blue light starts blinking.
I can‘t find them in the app nor in the bt settimgs of my phone. Just purchased furbished from bose web site. I have to send them back as I can‘t connect them. I didn‘t have any connecting problems with my previous bose soundsport
Nothing worked for me until I did this. Charge the case, put the earbuds in, hold 10 seconds blue light will quickly blink white and then blue again, and then the app finally detected the earbuds but there was no sound so I reset my cellphone and finally I got everything working
I recently had this happen. I wore one earbud while working and then when i placed them back and took it out and took it out before a full charge they wouldnt reconnect. Aftet waiting for the single earbud to reach 100% charge i was able to repair. Like why?
Mine were connecting but then started instantly disconnecting. Whenever I would go in settings there would be the letters "LE" in front of it which means "Low-Energy". While that's helpful for your battery, it just wasn't maintaining a connection with my phone. I fixed mine by forgetting the device in bluetooth settings, forgetting the product in the bose app and then strictly reconnecting it through my phone's bluetooth settings while holding the charging case button for 3 seconds to make the bluetooth light come on. For some reason, using the app, as of recently, changes the normal connection it has to "LE" which was causing frequent disconnecting issues. The only fix was just not using the Bose app at all. Hopefully an app update comes soon.
Hello, I have a problem with the brand new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Headphones Namely, when I try to connect these headphones to the phone via Bluetooth, the headphones connect to the phone without any problems. I bought refurbished version and couldn't connect at all. Checked with friend who has similar model - he also couldn't connect to mine (but I could connect to his :P). I have received new ones as warranty xD And they have same issue :D This company is a meme.
For that price, the product should not have these kinds of issues. No method works. The only thing that works is waiting. Sometimes it needs a couple minutes, sometimes half a day. I am sick of these expensive earbuds letting me down again and again, this is the first and last time I have Bose any money.

I just contacted Bose support and they are replacing mine for free to the QC ultra . I only had them since Xmas, they would disconnect and they won’t go into pairing mode anymore . Also the left earbud stop working.

I totally agreed, when all 3 methods not working, charge it for a while with USB cable then will do.
Bose is an excellent brand. I really don't understand why they are so poor for these connection issues. I hope they'll release a firmware to fix it.

Best advice I can give is delete the app and run them without it. Have not had any issues since.
how is the quick access button work? swipe to volume updown, quite aware mode etc?

Forgot to mention, that everytime you come the screen where you see the earbuds battery, follow Step4.
