Hello, I just bought the qc earbuds 2. But I noticed that the right earbuds is much higher in volume than the left. How can I fix it ? The left is literally at 30% when I’m turning full volume. I tried troubleshooting. But still the same issue
check to see the eartip on the left one is properly set. Remove and put it back on. If that doesnt work, then try this. Forget the device on your phones bluetooth, put them back in case, close lid for 5 seconds, hold pairing button for 30 seconds, re-pair to bluetooth. The 30-second hold on the pairing button has worked for others. If either of those don't work, then sadly it's defective and I recommend returning them
@@tritiaespinoza951same thing is happening to me too! I was so upset when this happened because I haven’t been neglecting mine at all! Just one day on a road trip they just decided to break or whatever. Been thinking about returning mine.
Absolutely, let's troubleshoot your earbuds' issues. You could start by resetting them; just press and hold the button on both earbuds for about 10 seconds. You'll know it's working when the LED lights flash red and blue. This process reverts your earbuds to their original factory settings and might help with that static noise issue you've been experiencing. After resetting, it's also a good idea to check if there's any firmware update available. Bose some times will roll out updates. If that still hasn't worked, I'm afraid something is mechanically wrong with them.
I bought quietcomfort earbuds 2 and used for a week, found that when I use it in the car, and the car is over some uneven ground, the earbuds will make some noise, like the wired earphone/mic just plugged into the speaker The sound will make a popping sound.

For example, if the battery of the left earbud is at 90% and the right is at 60%, the voice prompt announces “Battery sixty percent”. If the earbud with the lower battery percentage is less than 10%, you hear “Battery low, please charge now”, regardless of the percentage of the other earbud.
I charged my case fully but then after a let’s say one hour usage I put them back in the case. Next day opened and started to use and left one completely drained 0% charge. This is not first time happening. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
This has happened with these particular earbuds, but also some other ear buds of mine. What most likely happened is the earbud wasn’t pushed in or noticed by the case. So it was affectively on all night. It’s a pain, but when you place both earbuds in, make sure you see the “hey it’s in.” lights flicker. The reasons for these might be anything from a buildup of sweat or something in the case or on the hands of either of a case or eaebud. Try to wipe the earbud and firmly place it in. That should work.
I have the first generation, and now these new second generation I like the way the first generation fit better. This new fit plastic pieces are frustrating if I'm trying to work out if I leave my head back or forward, they feel like they're gonna pop out. I've tried every combination.
Hi bro i am using iphone 13 pro max and samsung tab s8 tablet. What would you recommend for the best microphone for talking on iphone and in-ear headphones for the best movie and gaming on tab s8? I have 3 models in mind. 1.Bose quiet comfort 2 2.Apple airpods pro 2 3.Beats fit pro
I have the qc 2020 and my right earbud has bad distortion, my left is okay, for some reason my bose music app reconoce my earbuds but I can't find anything on how to go to settings
Unfortunately, the Bose Music app for Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Version One does not have any settings. This is a limitation of the older earbuds. Check EQ settings OR Reset them. There might be a need to update the earbuds' firmware.
Flashing orange usually means it needs to charge. If it’s solid orange, I recommend contact Bose customer service. I haven’t heard of this experience before
Fortunately, I don’t have any issues. I use them every day for the gym. By same application, you mean the app? I wonder if it needs a new firmware or the app needs to be re-downloaded
The Bose QuietComfort earbuds 2 have a wind reduction feature that can help to reduce wind noise. To turn on this feature, open the Bose Music app and go to the "Sound" tab. Then, tap on the "Wind Reduction" slider and move it to the "On" position. Hope that helps.
My right earbud is not working at all. It charges (lights up when in the case), but when put in ear nothing. I have done factory reset using the case, but to no avail. Any suggestions?
If the charging case light is amber, it can’t sufficiently charge the earbuds and has 10 to 33% battery remaining. If it flashes amber, the battery is below 10% and the earbuds cannot be charged.
Hmm, I believe it may go by the dominant voice assistant on your phone. But that should be easily changed within the Bose Music App. Unfortunately, I can't be definite; I'm currently quarantining during the holidays and don't have access to my earbuds 😓
@@wlsntech Thank you sir, i got my son to fix it for me , it was on the phone we needed to do the change, Hope you have a great holiday . Regards Stefan
Were you on the Regional Rail Bro 🙂? Anyway, I bought a refurbished pair from Bose, but the bass isn't as punchy with these compared to the original QC I's which I have too. I just wanted the smaller version of the Bose earbuds. What are your thoughts regarding the sound clairty / bass? These seem to be well balanced all the way through, lacking bass which I prefer though, especially when it comes to Bose. Thanks in advance for your response.
Doyelstown line. As for the bass, you haven't seen any improvements by messing with the EQ? I think it's well balanced but leans more towards the bassey end. Most of the popular buds do, especially Bose and Sony. I'd crank up the sound profile all the way and hopefull you'll find some difference
If your Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II is giving you trouble with stuttering, no worries! 1. Let's check your Bluetooth connection. Make sure your earbuds are properly connected to your device by checking your device's Bluetooth settings. If they're not listed, try restarting both your device and earbuds. 2. Keep your earbuds up to date. Bose regularly releases firmware updates for its products. To check if your earbuds are up to date, simply open the Bose Music app and head to the "Devices" tab. If an update is available, the app will prompt you to install it. 3. If all else fails, why not reset your earbuds? Hold the button on each earbud for 15 seconds to reset them. You'll need to pair them with your device again, but that's a breeze! 4. And if none of these steps work, feel free to contact Bose support. They're always happy to help troubleshoot the problem and may even send you a replacement pair of earbuds.
No, you do not have to update the case of your computer. The case is simply the outer shell of the computer that protects the internal components. It does not affect the performance of the computer in any way.
Wife just got em for me and I'm in love. Got a question though..Do you know if there's a way to turn off transparency but to also leave off the ANC? So basically using them like standard earphones. Im Just thinking if there's a way to conserve battery. Kind of like the galaxy buds+. They had a good seal without needing ANC and still able to turn off and on the transparency.
@@wlsntech dam. Hope they fix that in an update. Being able to switch off the outside mics and then the ANC would help conserve battery and go even longer than the 6 hours.
If it's the app, have you tried deleting and reinstalling it, or checking for any available updates? Sometimes app issues can be fixed by simply refreshing or updating the app. If you're having trouble with the earbuds themselves, make sure that they're properly connected to the app and that you're using the latest firmware. You can check for updates through the app or through the Bose website. If neither of these solutions work, it's possible that there's a deeper issue with the earbuds or the app. You might want to consider contacting Bose customer support for further assistance, or taking them in for repair if they're still under warranty. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Hi, I did not find info about this in the comments, can I use the left earbud for calls independently? I can hear the voice but they cannot hear me. How do I solve this? Thanks
The left Bose QuietComfort Earbuds 2 can only be used for calls independently if your earbuds' software version is 1.3.26 or later. If your software version is lower than that, you will only be able to use the right earbud for calls.
@wlsntech Got it! Besides updating them to that software version, is there anything else I need to do? Or once they are updated, it will work straight away ? Thanks for your reply :)
Hey there! Based on what I found online, there could be a few things causing the wind noises you hear with your Bose QuietComfort earbuds. Firstly, one reason for the wind noise could be a damaged or faulty earbud. Someone on Reddit mentioned constant wind noise in their left earbud while their right one was silent. This could mean something is wrong with that particular earbud, and you might need to replace it. www.reddit.com/r/bose/comments/tja323/bose_qc_earbuds_wind_noise_when_not_even_being/ Another possibility is that the sound quality settings on your earbuds need to be corrected. If the bass is too high or the treble is too low, it could make everything sound muffled and unclear. You can try adjusting the bass and treble settings by following the instructions on the Bose website. You could also download the Bose Music App if those two solutions don't work. It's free and works with most Apple and Android systems. You can use the app to control your earbuds and adjust the settings, which might help with the wind noise. If none of these solutions seem to help, it might be worth contacting Bose customer support for further assistance. They might be able to offer some more specific advice based on your particular situation.
There are a few possible reasons for this, and I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot the issue. First, make sure that the earbuds are properly connected to your phone. You can do this by checking the Bluetooth settings on your phone and making sure that the earbuds are listed as a paired device. If they're not, try following the instructions in your phone's manual to pair them. If the earbuds are already paired with your phone, try restarting your phone and the earbuds. This can sometimes fix minor software issues that might be preventing the earbuds from answering calls. If you're still having trouble, you can try resetting the earbuds. To do this, hold down the power button on both earbuds for 10 seconds until the LED lights flash red and blue. Once the earbuds have reset, you'll need to pair them with your phone again If you've tried all of these suggestions and the earbuds are still not answering calls, you can contact Bose customer support www.bose.com/en_us/contact_us_0.html for more help.
The issue I have with the QC Ebds II is that they do not adequately or really cancel noise when on a call in a noisy environment/cafe. The person to whom you are speaking can still hear loud background noise when you speak, and it only stops when you stop speaking. This kind of defeats the purpose of being able to make calls no? Can it be fixed?? When the headphones this doesn't happen.
That depends on the microphone quality and the Bose earbuds and sometimes even the headphones do not have the best microphone noise cancellation. So unfortunately, whatever cancellation it does try to do is enough when compared to some of the other earbuds.
They're either not fully plugged into the case (see if they're anything at the bottom, if so, blow it or clean it out, and then push down hard to make sure it connected.
How can I switch the connection from phone to laptop without resetting the connection altogether? I tried shutting off Bluetooth on my phone to allow me to find the laptop but had no luck. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for the video.
Hey !To switch from your phone to your laptop, you don't need to shut off Bluetooth. Just disconnect the earbuds from your phone's Bluetooth settings. On your laptop, select the earbuds from available Bluetooth devices. If they aren't visible, press your earbuds hard into the charging case, open the lid, and hold the Bluetooth button for about 5 seconds until the LED blinks blue. Now, they should be ready to pair with your laptop. The earbuds can only connect to two devices at once, so you might need to disconnect from another device if you're already connected to two. Hope this helps.
Strange, but when it's in my pocket or even when I am holding charging case outside of my person is anyone having partial disconnection issues where it disconnects for 3-5 seconds and then it goes back to normal on a consistent basis? FYI: headphones are working without using the Bose app only through Bluetooth. So, can this be the issue where if the headphones are connected through the Bose app it won't give this issue?
I just want to completely disable the touch controls, its incredibly frustrating to accidently pause everytime I need to adjust the earbuds' position. It doesnt appear to be a feature? Also, the Bose android app constantly loses connection to the earbuds.
my earbuds says they are 100% charged I can listen to the voice sound of the earbuds but no sound out from videos or music. I reboot everything and nothing happens :/
Make sure the earbuds are connected to the device properly. Check if the earbuds are paired with the device and that they are connected. Check the volume levels on both the earbuds and the device. Increase the volume on both to see if that helps. Try resetting the earbuds. To do this, place the earbuds in the charging case and press and hold the button on the back of the case for 15 seconds until the earbuds' LED lights start flashing. If the above steps don't work, try updating the firmware on your earbuds through the Bose Music app. If none of these steps work, it's possible that there may be an issue with the earbuds themselves. In that case, you may want to contact Bose customer support for further assistance.
Right earbud battery drains from 100% to 0% in under two hours. Plus right side has a constant crackling sound. This is the second pair that this has been a problem with.
I’m sorry. That does not seem like some thing that can be fixed. Unfortunately, if you can’t get a replacement from BOSE I would just return it and get a different earbud
Does someone could tell me how to reactivate one of my airbud the case is fully charge but only the left earbud activate itself when put in, and the led in the case will be orange , the right earbud deliever no sunds I don't know how to activate it
delete the app, remove it from your bluetooth settings, and try to factory reset the earbuds. I'm not sure of the exact issue, but that could help reboot it completely
0:10 I'm having too many issues with mine. First, the earbuds do not stay connected. I have to constantly re-pair them. Secondly, when using only the left earbud, cause mine is updated, doesn't stay connected for very long. The controls on the left earbud don't work for some reason, but there is no response. And while I am listening to music or a video, It's constantly pausing and playing simultaneously over and over again. Even if I manually select on the next video. The earbud just loses all connections. And then it doesn't connect, and I have to re-pair again. How much longer do I have to troubleshoot this? There's only so much I can do. I swear I have the worst luck with headphones. Wth?😔🤦♂️
The only way i can use the left one is if the right one is conected other then that if i only want to use one i can only use the right one it’s driving me crazy
These earbuds are right dominant. You can use both of them or the right earbud. The left can't work by itself. It's a common system most earbuds have but it's annoying so some of the newer ones can be used with either earbud.
Firstly, have you tried using a different charging cable or power source? It's possible that the issue is with the cable or outlet, rather than the earbuds themselves. If that doesn't work, let's take a look at the earbuds themselves. Are the charging contacts on the earbuds clean and free of debris? Sometimes dirt or grime can build up on the contacts, preventing a proper charge. You can clean them gently with a dry cloth or a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. If the contacts are clean and the issue persists, it's possible that there's a problem with the battery or the charging circuitry inside the earbuds. In that case, you might want to contact Bose customer support for further assistance, or consider getting them repaired or replaced if they're still under warranty.
I want to love these earbuds but i just cant, sometimes they just dont connect so i try to remove them from my device and pair again but they just dont pair - they show up and i can click them but they dont pair. These kind of issues are just so annoying. The earbuds are really great except that.
I understand your frustration. Have you tried reaching out to customer support for assistance? They might be able to help you troubleshoot the connectivity issues or fingers crossed, give you a new one.
Trying restarting both turn earbud and macbook and re-enter pairing mode on your buds. Final suggestion would be to factory reset the QC. Sometimes a good reset does the trick
Unfortunately, there isn't any setting or feature that can locate the other pod. And it depends on if it's the right one as that is the more dominant of the two, and that's the one that needs to be paired the most.
I bought a pair of these earbuds about a week ago and they arrived 2 days ago. I've tried everything I can to keep them in my ear (gone through every combination and yet they still shift and fall out by themselves even when I am not moving) and the only times they do stay in for a while is when I look in the mirror, and pull my ear over the outer earband thing to keep the ridge of my ear over it. It's extremely uncomfortable and a huge hassle to put them in, rotating them to fit does not work also. Anyone got any tips? Note: My ears are that of a 14 year old and so, are smaller than an adult's
I’m sorry, I know how this feel, especially after testing dozens of earbuds. It appears their designs aren’t a good fit for you. I’ve had pairs that fall out of my ears no matter what. Or only have one ear that’s secure and the other earbud consistently falls out of the other ear. I’d recommend exchanging them for a better fitting pair. Maybe an upgrade from a pair you’ve owned before
@@wlsntech This is my first pair of wireless earbuds and I splurged on them because they're really good, no doubt, by exchanging, I didn't buy these direct from Bose or Bose certified retailers, I bought them for a great price on an eBay bid at £180 rather than the RRP of £280 so I can't like trade in for different ones I guess. It's also no returns :(. Thanks for the advice though, I really appreciate it :D
Hello there, try searching Bose Product Support video with the title “Getting a personalised eartip and stability band fit” in which they mention XS and XL eartip and stability band fit. And just see in video if the size XS for eartip and 0 for stability band fit be of any use to you
These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
TIP: In case one earbud will not charge. I found that the band around the earbud had somehow slid around and out of place. After moving the band back into the correct position, the problem was solved.

I have the first generation, and now these new second generation I like the way the first generation fit better. This new fit plastic pieces are frustrating if I'm trying to work out if I leave my head back or forward, they feel like they're gonna pop out. I've tried every combination.
i'm sorry you're experiencing that. I would recommend returning it as soon as possible.
Hi bro i am using iphone 13 pro max and samsung tab s8 tablet. What would you recommend for the best microphone for talking on iphone and in-ear headphones for the best movie and gaming on tab s8? I have 3 models in mind.

Hello i tried the hard reset but when I do so it doesn’t flash blue but only orange is their something im doing wrong ?
Flashing orange usually means it needs to charge. If it’s solid orange, I recommend contact Bose customer service. I haven’t heard of this experience before

Did you have issues with the qc2 i have changed them 3 times and still the same application does not work and buds are not working properly
Fortunately, I don’t have any issues. I use them every day for the gym. By same application, you mean the app? I wonder if it needs a new firmware or the app needs to be re-downloaded
Do you have any tips on how to reduce wind noise when walking outdoors on a windy day?
The Bose QuietComfort earbuds 2 have a wind reduction feature that can help to reduce wind noise. To turn on this feature, open the Bose Music app and go to the "Sound" tab. Then, tap on the "Wind Reduction" slider and move it to the "On" position. Hope that helps.
When I look at sounds I only have two options. Modes and Equalizer. I am on version 1.3.26
My right earbud is not working at all. It charges (lights up when in the case), but when put in ear nothing.
I have done factory reset using the case, but to no avail.
Any suggestions?
If it's just the right, I would say it needs to be returned, I'm sorry. But you've already done everything I've seen fix these
If the charging case light is amber, it can’t sufficiently charge the earbuds and has 10 to 33% battery remaining. If it flashes amber, the battery is below 10% and the earbuds cannot be charged.
Thanks
Thank you for a great video. I have a question on how to change the buds from bixby to google assistant on my samsung note.
My bose qc earbuds 2 stutter :( it’s like they lag😢
Do you have to update the case???? And are there any updates as the computer I have dosent really work. It’s really slow over 10 years old
No, you do not have to update the case of your computer.
I'm afraid not. You can create a mix of the two but it doesn't have passive noise canceling.
@@wlsntech dam. Hope they fix that in an update. Being able to switch off the outside mics and then the ANC would help conserve battery and go even longer than the 6 hours.
I have very bad experience with application. I can't change noise cancelling mode .
There are wind noises when I put them on :( as if someone put speakers on loud without playing anything. Help?
This could mean something is wrong with that particular earbud, and you might need to replace it.
www.reddit.com/r/bose/comments/tja323/bose_qc_earbuds_wind_noise_when_not_even_being/
Another possibility is that the sound quality settings on your earbuds need to be corrected.
Any suggestions as to why the earbuds don't answer phone call?
Once the earbuds have reset, you'll need to pair them with your phone again
If you've tried all of these suggestions and the earbuds are still not answering calls, you can contact Bose customer support www.bose.com/en_us/contact_us_0.html for more help.
So unfortunately, whatever cancellation it does try to do is enough when compared to some of the other earbuds.
i have these i have paired these to my phone. Have installed the Bose app on phone and the App can not detect/find my quitecomfort Earbuds 2.
Delete and reupload the app. Make sure their out of the case when you try to connect to the app again
Hi!
If Ear Buds get lost, can you find the buds using GPS?
It'll show you the last place they were turn on if you look in your Jabra App
4:43 what color are the slow blinks when it is ready to connect? Very first one on your list
The LED color that blinks when the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II are ready to connect is slowly blinking blue
Hi! Is there a way to find earbuds?
Unfortunately, there is no way to track lost Bose QC earbuds using a "Find My Earbuds" feature like Apple AirPods.
Why do they drain the battery while in the case and not being used ?

How to turn off touch controls so I can wear a hood or hat that comes down over my ears?
I'm sorry, you can’t do that
Strange, but when it's in my pocket or even when I am holding charging case outside of my person is anyone having partial disconnection issues where it disconnects for 3-5 seconds and then it goes back to normal on a consistent basis?
FYI: headphones are working without using the Bose app only through Bluetooth. So, can this be the issue where if the headphones are connected through the Bose app it won't give this issue?

my earbuds says they are 100% charged I can listen to the voice sound of the earbuds but no sound out from videos or music.

Make sure it’s touching the pin by checking to see if it’s blocked and then pressing down and see if that works
Wth?😔🤦♂️
this is not normal and I highly recommend returning them. Even one of these problems would be enough to return them.

Double-tap the right earbud
The only way i can use the left one is if the right one is conected other then that if i only want to use one i can only use the right one it’s driving me crazy
These earbuds are right dominant. You can use both of them or the right earbud. The left can't work by itself. It's a common system most earbuds have but it's annoying so some of the newer ones can be used with either earbud.
@@wlsntech that sucks all the money i would rather go back to the AirPods instead
these are pretty good earbuds but if you have an iPhone there is no reason not to get the new 2nd Generation AirPods
@@wlsntech i did but this ones have much better sound. Thats the inly thing that sucks about it
My buds have trouble charging!
@@wlsntech im gonna try thanks

@@wlsntech hi, actually I found the issue. Thanks, Bluetooth would not connect because I needed to charge the pods.
