    Nice job Mike. Don't forget to add a bottle opener. I bought 5 coolers on sale last spring to build stands for but only got one built. Going to do 4 more here shortly.

    the wood work is amazing. if I may, tho. the drain system would be better if it wasn't a rust material. I saw you used a regular black pipe nipple.

      I made 2 dozen of these...I added caster wheels the below bottom shelf and reinforced the back ledge with a 2x4 ripped on a diagonal to support the hinges. I also used a router to put a slight bevel on all the board edges. I used less expensive cabinet hinges (3) in place of the heavy duty hinges. The wheels were a HUGE hit and having them hidden beneath the shelf surprises folks when they see it roll. I had to stop taking orders from friends to give myself a break. You can get a set of 4 caster wheels on Amazon for $10 but I found a supplier at my local swap meet who had them for a buck per wheel. Thanks again Donald for the design!

    Is it hard to drain the water out once its below the drain plug level?

      +Eric Smith Sweet they are pretty easy. Make the drain on the bottom instead of the side. That's one thing I hate about it.

    This is an awesome idea. It's kind of a shame to see you do all that hard work and not use full length boards to run some of the spaces. Buy an extra board and make it look good, bro.
