I thought the tasks related to Schizophrenia were really interesting! Especially the one for checking to see if someone were real. I’m sure that could really change some lives
I recently just learned about the help of migraine and psychiatric service dogs.... and about two or three days ago saw a video on mobility aide and loved seeing a more thorough description here. My interest in that area of training is that some of the mobility tasks match with symptom of the derealization/depersonalization episodes I get at times. It had never occurred to me that was the case til I saw the other video and now this great, clear listing of tasks in this area. There are only a couple that would apply to my functioning and safety during an episode but those would have a massive real-world effect. And I never thought about the aide to sight issues because I don't have a full-time sight issue. I've episodes of reduced vision like during dereal/depers episodes. I really appreciate you expanding on the information available about service dogs. I'm looking primarily into PSDs and their tasks, but those overlap with so much!
Thanks for a helpful clip.
