Lennox originally was fighting Kirk Johnson who was easy ko for him. This is why Lennox looked so undertrained. Lennox dug deep and in words of Manny he took it to the streets. He also said prior that it would be his last fight and he stuck to his word. If he was in top form he’d beat Vitali comfortably by decision.
Lennox was a great warrior, and if you seen the fight you will see that he was getting better round after round, but the USA media try to make him lose in this fight, because he fu*k all USA champs and take the belts to UK, otherwise he is the all time best for the true fan for this sport in this division, he beat everyone and he was in the best era ever the elite era, man what a great fighter he was
He didn’t fight Tyson in his prime though
@@lineialquantum because tyson in 1996 give up his belt to lennox when lennox became to be his mandatory in that time and he never want to fight him until 2002 Finley agreed to fight him, +lennox older than tyson by the way
Omg. Dude. It's NOT pronounced "VIT-a-lee". His name is pronounced "Vi-TAL-ee". Jesus Christ that's annoying.
*THE STATE OF HIS FACE*
Lewis is best
How did he eat that upper cut, it would of decapitated most men
Wow Vitali was Wining 😢
I think he did end up losing again to Fury and Joshua?
Thats is brother wlad. Vitali had a load of injuries that cut his career short
@@dylanburston7453 ah. Thanks.
Tyson Fury needs to do what Lennox Lewis did to Vitali Klischko. Absolutely maul Usyk and fight in the trenches
But Lewis didnt maul him in this fight. A grazed from the edge of the glove during a clinch is what cause the cut. It was lucky
I remember seeing that uppercut live on TV and could not believe Klitschko was still standing. Winning by cuts is pure luck. You cannot plan it and you cannot force it. So while Lennox Lewis is one of the greatest champions ever been, this one he should have lost if it was not for the referee.
If A cut requires 60 stitches than it should be stopped.
I didnt like Lewis. With that said he was a great fighter
The heavyweight championship belongs in America 🇺🇸
When you yanks have a World Series baseball tournament, I kinda get what you mean ? But, you MUST know there’s more than 1 country in the world, and 3 major heavyweight championship belts…..But then again by the sounds, probably not ! 🙄
Til the day I die no one will convince me the doctor wasn’t paid off. That cut was not affecting his vision in the slightest. Tyson Fury’s cut against Wallin was way way way worse
Obviously you haven't been to the gym for once not talking about stepping in the ring for once.
@@okaforogemdi5097 how about you retype that out and try saying that in proper English. For once.
Larry merchant is a joke
To paraphrase Lennox, 'This guy couldn't beat an out of shape me, what chance would he have if I actually trained ?!'. That uppercut !!!!!!
I never realized he was a PED cheat even as an amateur !!
He had no control of that. That was way above his pay grade. State sponsored and mandated. I'm not defending it at all but the government made athletes do so. The government cheated, not the athletes.
Lewis got lucky here
Lennox spent years chasing big fights with Tyson or Bowe.
Then, when finally gets the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship, he runs from the younger Klitschko brother settling for the older brother instead.
No rematch either...what a hypocrite.
Run from young klitschko! Wow, you know nothing about boxing
But he does know the difference between "know" and "no".
@@Buster_Piles I don’t know what you mean?
Great video. Best channel on UA-cam. I feel like I wanna go for a run after watching these
3 uploads in 1 year, certainly not the best channel on UA-cam. Shame i used to love this channel, now he has got lazy and stopped uploading.
