Lewis was destroying everyone in his path when he was at his best.if you dont know do your home work.yeah even when he got out of it he only had 2 losses
Let's keep this CORE REAL. Morrison was never going to be nothing more than a good B level fighter in spite of his left hook. He has THREE Things going against him. A very poor chin, lack of proper stamina and a very substandard defense. In the heavyweight division lacking either of these is a serious liability. Lacking all 3 is a recipe for eventual disaster and glorified club fighter status. He was NEVER going to beat Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Tua, Holyfield or ANY of the top rung upper echelon heavyweights of that era for those very reasons. He struggled to beat an old Foreman, whom in reality he SHOULD have been able to KO, given Morrisons size, youth and power. But Morrison who suffered stamina issues, barely got across the finish line gasping for breath against a 40 plus Foreman. Once he was waxed by Mercer he was DONE as a SERIOUS threat and that was cemented in his stunning loss to the journeyman and unheralded Michael Bent who took Morrison out in less than 2 rounds. Lennox Lewis toyed with him and finished off what was left. Tommy was fine beating a slew of has beens and C Level fodder but the truth ALWAYS comes out when a fighter has to step up and face the big guns. Then he either gets exposed or he passes the test and keeps going up to the top to attain the prize. No amount of what ifs, maybes etc.....changes the REALITY that Morrison lacked the 3 most important qualities I mentioned earlier. If anyone takes exception to what I'm saying all I can say is : COPE.

Mills Lane is the bravest of All in the Ring.
The Courage he had to stand between all this Titans.
Tommy had a left hook that could send anybody on the floor. What a tragedy.
He was sick in this one
I don't think anyone in the current era in the top 5 could stand with the top 10 of this era in the HVW division. Everyone looks so SLOW now compared to these guys.
I wished Prime Lewis could fight Prime Tyson Fury. I think Lewis would dominate him
Tommy just sort of followed his opponents around; not throwing his jab or moving his head …of bobbing or weaving …..
Lewis had power in his jab and terrible aggression. Saw his fight against Grant who he destroyed in 2.
Morison is a faded fighter at this point he done to much damage to his body he parted to much his legs are shot, and Lewis was a guy that could could be beat ,but nobody could do it twice.
Lewis was destroying everyone in his path when he was at his best.if you dont know do your home work.yeah even when he got out of it he only had 2 losses
Time Lewis fought Tyson the latter was not in his prime. Therefore, unfair comparison.
Nah, he did very well considering his lifestyle, he lost to two of the toughest of that era, Lewis & Mercer.
SO Tommy was already sick with drugs and alcohol Hiv and HE WENT THE DISTANCE AND DIDNT GET KNOCKED OUT SO if Lewis is SOOOOOOO good as his predecessors and such a badass HARD HITTING BRITISH SENSATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT >>>>>HE DIDNT PROVE IT HERE AGAINST A HANDICAPPED FIGHTER ON HIS WAY OUT OF LIFE ....HE BARELY WON THE FIGHT .....COME ON MAN !!!!!!!
Esto da entender que Tommy era una bestia en sus mejores momentos
Did you even watch the fight ?
@@lango2502 DID YOU SEE RAHMAN KNOCK LEWIS THE HELL OUT AND WIN THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP.....AND HE WASNT EVEN a LONG LASTING CHAMP BUT HE KNOCKED HIM OUT COLD SO BIG DEAL ABOUT LENNOX HE WASNT THE BEST HEAVYWEIGHT
@@lango2502 YES BUT DID YOU SEE HASIM RAHMAN KNOCK OUT LENNOX LEWIS COLD AND BEAT HIS BUTT
Most people would be reading this and cringing at your inability to post a credible comment.
George Foreman would easily beat Lewis if they were in the same era.
I feel like they don’t box this good anymore, no mucking around or egos here just good hands
Can't fight what you can't see. A good stoppage really. He didn't even move or flinch after that last right. I bet he just didn't see it. He was starting to loose his edge from AIDs at this point. Lewis's fine jab was another problem.
He shouldn't even been allowed to fight at all if he had AIDS.
I was thinking Tommy needed to box like Tyson against an opponent with a longer reach, but Lennox beat Tyson. Still, boxing a fighter with a longer reach from a distance is guaranteed loss.
For someone who has feet flat as a generic pop tart, Lennox Lewis aint no joke in that ring
Well that left jab by Lennox Lewis was irritating that left eye of Tommy Morrison enough and then he was going to throw the right hand.
