I’m just here to see what the 5” inseam Gun Lawyer says the ATF will think about this one.
Ur m o m isn't in this vid though
What would they say?
Stock version = SBR
Brace version = braced pistol
@@Aperson156 ATF: "Reeeeeeee!"
That’s Attorney Tightshorts sir
I’m sure they’ll do everything they can to infringe on your constitutional rights
I fully agree that this gun isn't nearly small enough that I would actually choose to carry it every day, but I'll be damned if the thing doesn't look like my cyberpunk dreamgun.
the AIWB holster option feels like more of a proof of concept than anything else. It is a very a clear demonstration of the ease of on-body carry, even concealed, due to how compact it really is. There’s a lot of potential here for a service weapon.
It's what you carry when there's riots in your city and you must go outside
@@SmokesKwazukii Yeah, I could absolutely see something like this as a police or MP service weapon.
I saw a squirrel today, and he had one of these.
@@AcoraZ3RO This thing would shine in a personal protection detail type scenario
C clamp grip on a carry gun never thought I’d see the day lmao
C-clamp grip errthaaang 😅
Neat unit, not for me but neat.
Funny thing when he was talking about imprinting. One day I had a tighter shirt on than normal at a grocery store. The longer 15rn mag made my appendix EDC print a tidbit. A lady asked "what's that on your waist"?
I tapped the base of the mag "oh this"?
-yeah she said
"Oh, that's just my colostomy bag clamp to hold it to my belt"
Lady was almost mortified she even asked 😅
Haha that's awesome!
I’m using this. Incredibly solid excuse.

There's no way, I swear to God I was looking for a review of this today to no avail and of course you upload one a couple hours later.
Same!
It will be under $1,000? I should hope so.
I would hope that the whole package (gun and kit) for less than 1k
I think I'll opt for a PSA X5.7 at that price point.
No joke. I think this is a joke for that price. No thanks
@@Kennoisewater123 yeah 400-500 for a chassis is pretty ridiculous (especially since they really weren't able to keep up with demand for the raider 320). I'd be happier around the 200 dollar mark
The only way one Earth that turd should approach 1000$ is if it came with a P365, spare mags and the light
"hermaphro trigger" is wild
This really makes the idea far more compelling. Really like that you can get it with the longer barrel for all those ballistic benefits
Another stellar video review thanks champ.
I love these sweet videos helping me make terrible choices with my money thanks James!
Happy to help. I, too, am an addict.
Good review. I think I'd reiterate the fact that for the vast majority of people it will be easier to make hits at distance with a stocked/braced gun than freehand. I can hear the critics saying "Oh, but when am I ever going to shoot at distance, don't you know the average gunfight is at 7 yards?" Weren't we as a community emphasizing the importance of the Dicken drill just a year and a half ago? That said, I think the price is definitely a barrier, and the argument of "just use that money to go train instead" has merit.
How much is it$?
Dicken didn't make any hits at distance btw. He had to close the distance to actually get hits. He also wasn't using a red dot(I know you didn't say that but others have made that claim). He was using stock glock irons and the rear iron was broken.
@@armorers_wrenchHe did have to advance (thats part of the drill) but the shots were still further than 50 feet. 75 feet is 25 yards, which is most indoor ranges. It's not that far.
@@armorers_wrenchlol lil bro is jelly of a kid
@@tubeguy4066 what? Stating the facts is jealousy?
Definitely shouldn’t be viewed as like an alternative to a micro-compact carry gun or even a compact carry gun. It’s a like an enhanced duty pistol. This setup would make an excellent service weapon for police officers more than anything else. It can be concealed AIWB, so i imagine it could be carried very comfortably OWB like a traditional service pistol. Just like the USW concept but with the additional contact point and spare mag i think theres a better argument for it. This would be a huge step up from a typical handgun, while not really moving far away from the size & weight benefits of one, especially considering a regular P365 variant could easily be used as a backup/secondary pistol, like the G17/G26 combo, they would share magazines. IWB with this is kinda ludicrous as an edc and just overkill for most people. However it’s an awesome proof of concept. I could see it being used this way, or similarly concealed, for undercover work, vip/executive protection details & other similar roles where a PDW would be employed in the first place.
Is that a Flux Raider, or are happy to see me while wearing your tactical Daisy Duke shorts?
14:34 Great editing, but it would be perfect if Clint Smith's smiling, disembodied head floated across the screen towards the end of the sequence.
Good job James. Thank you
Finally more content!
This is probably one of the few pistol chassis that I find interesting but I can't justify the price.
I live in rural Ohio and I'm always in shorts except in the deep dark months of winter... I don't carry unless I'm headed to a bigger city. Most people still don't lock their doors here and the most I have to worry about when I leave the house is Amish buggies in the road, deer, and dodging 30 minute conversations about crop rotation from my neighbors.
How much is it$?
@@dangerousfreedom4965the guy from flux said it’ll be under a thousand dollars . But I mean that’s a wide range from 1-1,000.
Don't worry, add robots to that soon... and security drones... I study Farming Robotics and it is officially here.... we will have crops cheaper and larger than anyone else who cannot afford robot farmhands. And my industry, has robotized every job. Literally about to comment on how close your face was tot he slide reciprocation when you brought it up in the video haha
The Raider makes sense if you already own a P320. However, if you’re starting from scratch the chassis plus a P320 is around $1,100. There’s several purpose built PCCs that can be had for that price point or less.
The only difference is it is thinner and more compact. Pretty much that's it
Wrong
You can build one out for roughly $800 if you shop around. Even less if you get the Raider used.
Piss on that. Dual wield P365s for that price and go full akimbo.
😂@@andrews.7754
The price is almost as hilarious as the pie in the sky use case for something like this.
I hope flux expands their manufacturing process. There's a lot of people who would buy this if they didn't have to spend a year on a waiting list only to see an improved one come out before they get their "old stuff".😂
Flux is a very small & young company. Not easy to mass produce innovation at the quality they do it at.
@@robjackson7129 absolutely. But I think they'd be able to do more with a little expansion, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that they do so soon. I wouldn't blame them if they didn't though. Not every business owner wants to have a huge business.
@@robjackson7129 I could have sworn I already responded. Haha.
Well they are definitely a anal operation, and I really hope they stay as small as they can. Not every business needs to grow so big that corporate goons move in and steal it from the owner. We need more small businesses. But I do hope they still expand enough to fill more raider orders.
There's no waiting lists first of all. Anyway this coming out means they're expanding production by default, since it's made by a different manufacturing process. Therefore they use different suppliers for the parts. End result is more raiders made per month.
Nobody that can actually hold a handgun without crying wants one of these plastic gimmick pieces of shit.
What a fucking limp-wristed joke for soy lords. 😂😂😂😂
That’s freaking awesome!
Will it work with the .380ACP -P365 Hermaphro-trigger?
That Sales Rep Bro Dude was Wicked Awesome....
Do you take TRT James ?
Do you loose the irons? I see they are still there but looks like the front is kinda obscured by the shroud.
What’s 365 model are they using in this video?
Excellent video, it’s probably not for me personally, but it’s pretty cool
Whenever there is a Lot Lizard reference….. automatic 👍🏼
James is like is there a PCC in my waist band or am I just happy to see you?
Will the holster work with a second mag if it's shorter?
Yeah this is cool and all, but will it ever be in stock? or is it going to be like the perpetually out of stock P320 Raider?
As someone who travels I like the double duty option these types of things offer. And it's not all self defense, somethings if you get down time to just practice and shoot with friends away from home they generally up the fun factor.
Thanks for looking at it in that manner of is it actually worth it. That's why you have the followers you do. Cheers!
I wonder if there's any real accuracy/consistency difference between this (slide mounted optic) and other chassis where the optics are mounted to the chassis itself?
Will this work with the new P365 Fuse?
I knew u were gonna say Detroit… Damit it’s not that bad anymore. There’s a few spots are rough like everywhere, but downtown is looking up. Great review
Ooooh I been WAITING for this one!!
Can not wait to buy
Will this fit a regular p365x?
Would it kill big foot as mu back up weapon
I definitely think this will be more worth it for people who aren't as proficient with a pistol. For me, if there was something that I could drop my 365 into instantly giving it a stock without needing to field strip and reassemble it, then I would see a benefit. That way, I could leave it in the truck or in a bag instead of having a second PDW type truck gun that I was worried about being stolen.
It'd be nice if anything they ever sold was in stock.
Cool video
Will be back in stock sometime in 2030
What is it like at distance? 50m?
Why do so few people use the slide release after a reload? It is that hard?
Whats that little flippy thing in your short shorts James!?
Ur m o m
Been waiting for this. I love the raider x, but prefer the p365 to the p320.
I just built a Raider for about $1400 including a Holosun AEMS. It is great. I could have saved some $ but I went with a used XCarry Legion for threaded barrel and better trigger. If the 365 Radier was ~ $500 I would be tempted to make another lil brother but $800+ just for the chasis is like several 1000 of 9mm I could put through my existing Flux.
Imagine bragging about paying $1400 for something with the accuracy and performance of a shitty, basic 9mm handgun? 😂😂😂😂
Goofy as fuck. 😂🥴🤡
So this is the easiest way for me to go from 4 to 6 inches? Sold😂
I think the SBR did kill the PCC bit idk If it killed the PDW.
I had it with me when I came to the range🔥🔥🔥
So far it’s unobtainium
It hasn’t released yet. We will launch it in a few weeks.
Would it be wrong to run with the 365 chambered in 380 acp? Also good luck finding the one for the 320, going for double to triple the price on gb.
Would be an interesting question to ask them someday. I'd only say it's wrong because 380 ballistics suck so much compared to 9, and it'd be a waste for how big the raider is. If you want 380 carry a lil 380 gun
You mentioned that you bumped the mag release, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I think you didn’t insert the mag all the way or perhaps there’s an issue with the mag catch.
Would have liked to have seen comparisons between first round shot from concealment. Seems the flux is much slower in that category.
Is this legal in CA, or MA?
Finally, My pops has been wanting this.
How long has pops been gay and weak in the wrists? 😂😅
@TheGermanHammer Haha That's funny, But pops is one of the manliness men I've met, I would say I'm the one with weak gay wrists, why do they call you the German hammer, is that some gay falic fondling kind of name you got in the city drunk tank? 🤔
Nevermind I saw your comments, You curse a lot to make yourself seem cool, what you said to me though, that was kinda cool. But your name is pretty gay, It's ogay most people know steel isn't the only thing hard thing you fond over, Be honest :D
@@TheGermanHammer Just come out of the closet already lol
is that a glock mag in the "holder" at 0:38 ?
Man I hope & pray I get lucky enough to get one of these!!!🤞🙏🤞
My question is does that 6" barrel come with that 800 to 1,000 price tag. Ie is it another 2 to 300 bucks on top of the initial 800 to 1,000.
It is an additional cost, but not 200. And will be available during launch.
When are they coming out with something new for Glocks? My trust has a Glock SBR that I never got around to equipping with the original Raider, so all it has is an MOE stock on an Endo Tactical adapter.
Not for me, but appreciate the innovation.
Now, will the 6 inch barrel work with a comp macro slide? My gut feels like it should.
That makes sense. But that slide would be better used as a pistol for how expensive it is
When will it come out
12:05 With the slide mounted optic, I fail to see how the slide flopping on the chassis would degrade accuracy if you're getting a sight picture each time.
I’d carry it. Gonna buy it.
Make them for a canik I'd love to see one in that
If I bought into the Sig Anti Snag years ago and own a P365 SAS model, will it work with this? I’m guessing the ported barrel would need to be swapped at minimum.
The fcu will definitely work. Looks like this works best with XL slides, so you might need slide and barrel.
Yes it will work. As already stated the longer slides work best. Ported barrel is not recommended.
So if you form 1 your fcu, and put your fcu back in your usual 365 module, would you still have to carry your tax stamp everywhere and no one else can have access to it?
Yes
That's definitely going to poke out the bottom of your shorts. Officer Dangle needs backup!!
When was the last time they had the 320 flux in stock ? At this price point just get a sig copperhead
Where's the threaded barrel and the suppressor... 👍
id be interested in this if they'd restock the raider x w/ the 1.5 or 3" stock anytime soon. Still waiting to drop $ on it for a backpack gun.
It should allow 12 round magazines.
Why did you leave magazine details out?
What's there to say? It's only for 17 Rd mags. They might make a 12rd version in the future. And in theory someone could cut the grip to fit 12 Rd mags.
@@Yapperinos Exactly what you said. They didn't say it.
Surpressor options? Also can’t wait to see brass facts drool over Hopps test gun
Any pistol can that’s 1.5” in diameter & smaller. Spectre9 is an excellent choice as well as the Sig ModX9. We had the spectre9 on the 365Raider during Shotshow.
It would be best to run a can on the shortest threaded barrel for the standard 365, and of course the shortest slide, for standard 365. You'd lose that barrel shroud to C-clamp on. True Precision makes good threaded barrels.
@@robjackson7129Imagine being so fucking goofy and useless that you think running a can on this plastic flimsy piece of shit is a “tactical advantage” 😂
It’s like conversing with a bunch of “Call Of Duty” rejects. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Could be a cool winter gun, other than that im not trying to conceal that when its hot in Florida
Maybe a 10mm version for backpacking in bear country?
"I can tie my shoes with this" The man who had never tied his shoes while appendix carrying a full size pistol a day in his life said.
Excellent product! Glock, Sw etc...take note
What situation would you need this in?
Love it
Did he mention when it would be released?
Like come on man. I've been waiting for this thing ever since you did a video on.
I like it. I wonder if the little shroud would make it illegal in New Jersey.
that shorts, is that legal?
Nice
Have they considered an 'ultra-compact' 10rd grip option? 20+1rds in an even more concealable rig with larger mags in pockets if desired.
I'm just gonna buy the 6in barrel and carry that in my sig 365. Jack Nicholson Joker vibes.
They need to come out with 30rd mags for the p365, then this would be cool
I want a version with no front magwell or shroud so you can grip it like a pistol but still have the stock system integrated into the grip module.
Saws exist
I want one 0:58
The 365 is better than the 320 IMO. Now just need 30rd mags.
Does the chassis work on a 365XL?
Yes
The award for the best Quasimodo impression goes to James Reaves shooting his "flux raider", watch how he whips it out and "gets to work".
So, now what I want is a comparison between the accuracy/speed between one of these and a 2011 that's roughly the same size/weight/price.
I honestly think the 2011 would win, but it would be good to know.
Any 365 gun, as in the XL I already have? Or just the standard 365?
Any 365. Longer is better though.
Do we know which model 365 they are using in this video?
Will this work with a X300 Vampire or PL350? Those are longer than the regular X300s.
The longest stock version works with the X300 & PL350.
@@robjackson7129 including the vampire?
@@GldenRetriever I don’t think so.
