In Whitehorse no speaker on this computer. I was in Skagway this afternoon bought some salmon strips from a store there. Have not tried them yet but I baught some salmon jerky and that was really good. Nice goose hunt, looks like fun.
yukonjeffimagery Yes it was way better with sound. Not Rock n' Rolla but worked good with the video. We call those geese brants here I think RJ Mcleod21 is the geese guy he would know for sure. Video goose hunt like me 1 one goose. Will you be trapping that beaver house?
muskrat411 Thanks and yes not hard core rock this time perhaps the next one will be. And not a brant we have a few of those here but they live more on the coast. and of course when you have a camera the geese fly high so yea one was dinner enough but I did get a few so far but will go out again and get more and hope to get my moose here soon. Are you eating sheep yet Mrat? I had fat caribou the other day it was awesome we don't get them here but can travel and find them sometimes a guy gave me some from last spring my favorite food of course I never had sheep I hear that's even better.
My boys are done work at Herschel Island this week so we may b going up to Roger Lost Sunglasses Creek to plan out the trapper cabin and look for grizzly and maybe a sheep. There were people hunting sheep on the Dempster on Sunday.
Thanks VK yes its a good place for geese to land I live in a giant waterfowl paradise big river lots of sandbars and mudflats and berries to eat its where many of the wild geese,swans and cranes come to nest and raise their young.

Will do I am hoping to get some cranes and swans that would be nice and will start moose hunting here soon.
