Try it if you have long enough snares, it works great, just go along side the grub pile and face the snares to the house. Set both side with bait poles in the hole, and you cant miss.A lot of snow here this year too.
I wish I could snare beaver like that. I have to use poles. I have enough footage to do a video but just have not put it together. Those black fish look fun to catch. I liked how could hear the ice over the song in the beaver sequence. So much snow this year and drifts it is hard to find beaver houses.
Very cool jeff!! Caught two blackfish on rod and reel at Mirror lake the other day. Didn't see any snowshoe hare tracks on the way back, population down in your area? Ours is coming back up here in south central, in Eagle River, ak, How are you honey bees doing? So far all 3 of my hives are alive. Might order one more hive, treated my hives in the fall with oxalic acid twice, hoping that helps. Love your videos and would love to visit your area someday!
Hey Brandon Try set a blackfish trap if you can might do pretty good there. Both my hives are still alive for now. Fingers crossed they make it. Good you treated yours. Hard to get bees shipped out anymore.Thanks for riding along.

We boil blackfish and make a light, broth type soup with them that is excellent.
