I invested on all of this about a year ago tried selling no luck I bought svg on etsy I bought a xtool d1 laser engraver and nothing is sold. I am a construction worker maybe I should just stick to picking things up and putting them down.
Etsy getting to be a hard racket. I've been there since 2013 and now have gone weeks with out an order. I know it's the slow time of year but this economy and gas prices are helping. If you can, just keep plugging away and see. Some people have better luck with Facebook marketplace. I never did
It looks fine to me . Was that 1 piece of tape around the top an bottom ? It appeared as several small pieces all around . Not judging just want to get mine right. . btw like your tattoo also
You need to use the cardboard to press the tumbler against the heating surface of the mug press. It is thinner than any mug, so if u put it in w o the cardboard, it doesn't make contact w the walls to heat and add pressure to sublimate it.
I think it was just 1 folded in half. I have since switched to a convection oven. There is talk that if a mug or tumbler doesn't touch the bottom round plate, it can't control the temp and can overheat and break the press. So, that is something to remember and use at your own risk.
You can do tumblers but it's tricky and can void the warranty on the machine. It also can cause the press to over heat. I wrap mine w painters tape and cook in a large toaster oven
I did not. Just used the sublimation paper and tape. I.have used it in past on mugs but it kinds scorched a bit on the edge and I worry that will transfer back to the design

Did you eventually start selling anything?
It's hit or miss. A lot of the time, the things ppl want to buy are copyright items and that's a whole nother ball of wax.
I just did two of these and mine did NOT come close to that one. Thanks for this I'm gonna try my third one and see how it goes.
Thanks. Let me know how it turns out
Thanks so much, very helpful tutorial!
You're very welcome!

Yes. It was a bunch of pieces to try and prevent ghosting
That's Beautiful!
Thank you. 😊
Looks good why did you used carbon?

@@KnotsinYarn ok 👌. I thought so. Thank you
Did you use sublimation paper or infusible ink paper?
sublimation paper and ink .. I've never use the infusible ink paper before.
Did you put 2 pieces of cardboard in?

Does this also work with tumblers?
You can do tumblers but it's tricky and can void the warranty on the machine. It also can cause the press to over heat. I wrap mine w painters tape and cook in a large toaster oven
You forgot to mirror your image
No. Ita the way the camera was turned. Filmed on my phone.
Do you not have to put butcher block paper around it also
I did not. Just used the sublimation paper and tape. I.have used it in past on mugs but it kinds scorched a bit on the edge and I worry that will transfer back to the design
Did she forget to mirror the image before pressing it . I think the letters are not right
no, was filmed w front camera. makes things look backwards
Time
Honesty do not remember. I got a countertop oven to make them in now.
measurements for drawing
some very, but I use 9.3 x 8.2 that gives you a little bit of overlap to trim nicely. I would measure the tumbler first though.
I think you forgot to mirror it
No. The camera flips the image
