Hello I am new to the circut world and just purchased a circut explorer 4 and have looked at lots of videos and saw your videos and I was like Thank you God 🙌🏾👏🏾👍🏾 for showing how to use infusible ink on tumbler without buying a eco tank printer or tumbler press heat. I am definitely definitely getting ready to follow your group and have subscribed to you videos. Thank you for the user friendly diy infusible ink tumbler Oh I am so glad that you said that we don’t have to buy circut blank👏🏾👏🏾😃
@@DailyDoseofDIY I want you to that I purchased your crafting with vinyl ultimate guide yesterday cause I want to learn as much as I can before I go out and spend lots of money only to find out that I didn’t have to do that thanks again and looking forward to seeing more of your videos.❤️
I absolutely love how you did these, esp. using the heat gun, because I have two of them (home construction)... I can't wait to try this, I have the infusible ink, but never tried it... Awesome Tutorial ❤️
Thank you for the slow and clear instructions. I did manage to make one. But even before putting it on the oven I wasn't confident that it would turn out because the cup was missing some contact due to the shape (hand indents) oh well live and learn.
I've used infusible ink to make car coasters, but my daughter wants me to make her a tumbler with infusible ink. I have the sublimation tumblers like you showed😊
You should never put infusible/sublimation ink projects in the same oven that you use for food. The gasses release by these inks are toxic and will always remain in the oven even after cleaning. You can get a countertop convection oven for less than $50.
I have a different take on it, the gas released disapates its not going to stay in the oven. If your concerned about the gas then keep the oven on for additional minutes to clear the gas
@blueapple That is why all of the ink manufacturers tell you to sublimation in a well ventilated area. Yes, the ink fumes are toxic. You can do whatever you want, but remember, when you use your food oven, you are making that decision for everyone who eats that meal, not just you. You can get a really cheap countertop convection oven that works just as well with zero risk to anyone's health.

Hello... I've never used SVGs nor infusible ink, I am a newbie. Thanks for your tutorial. I don't have a Cricut. However, I'll modify things for the Brother Scan & Cut.
Hey Honey Bun! I was wondering if this would work without me wasting materials. I came across this video and took it as confirmation. You have now gained a NEW SUBSCRIBER!!
This was so fun to watch since im very new to infusible ink, sublimation. I have a cup press i've yet to try. Thanks so much for this educational video.
Hi Chris, I know this video is more than a year old, but I HAD to tell you, I wanted to test this method before I splurged on a tumbler press or convection oven. I did this a smidge differently. I had experience (not a lot) using Infusible Ink on a lot of sublimation blanks and loved it. However, I adopted a kitten last July and have taken a zillion funny pix of him through his growing up. I wanted to print a lot of those which I colorized and made like watercolors in some, on a canvas frame as a collage for my boyfriend. So, I bought a sublimation printer. For the tumbler project, I made a really fun design that I purchased on Creative Fabrica, made adjustments, and used your technique but with Sublimation paper. My concern was that Infusible Ink paper has the sticky tape on the back which I thought may have shrunk which could help press the design more INTO the cup. Sub paper doesn't have that. So I wrapped in Butcher paper, then to ensure no flames (lol) I wrapped tightly in oven safe parchment paper. It turned out really, really well! Just wanted to say thank you! New subscriber 😉
Thank you 🙏 I have been simply trying to find the right tutorial with Time and Temp!!! You did it and it came out great 👍 I’m out of skinny tumblers at the moment because of trial and error(s) 🥺😫😠😭😩 but I did accomplish a coffee mug ☕️ I was so afraid 15 min was too long and I was going to burn the paper 🔥 I ended up buffering with a sheet of craft paper before using a silicone wrap. Finally I got the results I wanted! Thanks to you 🤩👍😇🙏💕
@@guylainelessardgoulet5044 I used the cricut mug for that one. I tried others from dollar or thrift store but they must have had a finish of some kind on them because no transfer would take place. I have recently purchased a special coating to prepare and put on such cups to make them sublimatabke 👍
I was bummed because I really wanted to make a tumbler but it obviously doesn't fit in the mug press. This worked PERFECTLY!!! I am so pleased, thanks for the tips!
Just watched your more current tutorial for how to avoid mistakes while doing these tumblers, they are very helpful. Would love the link for template if still available
I’ve never tried in fusible ink sheets before but I’m eager to try it. Please send me the link for the svgs. Thank you. Great explanation in this video.
Hi there. Thanks for your information! Can you show us how to do a similar project with vinyl but the letters start vertically from top to bottom. Thank you so much 💓
I just came across this video. Very informative! What if I only want to do a design with the infusible ink, not the background of the cup? Like in your design, the names would be the ink, the cup would stay white. Can you help please?
Yes you can! To do that don't use the template. Just Create your name, make sure it's sized to fit on the cup and then cut with infusible ink. Weed out the background and the insides of the letters and then tape to the cup. Hope that helps!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you sooooo much for this video! I am so glad I found you!! I love that you are a down to earth, no frills kind of crafter. I was so worried about how to use infusion ink on tumblers, got my materials, just didn't want to try it till I found a video like yours! Perfect! Wish me luck! :) I am now a subscriber of yours! :)
Omg u r an angel... would this method work with cups with the same temp and time?? I want the mug press but atm can't afford 1 haha, so looking for alternative ways... thank you for explaining so well your a star... xxx
I want to start making tumblers and every vedio I watch uses circut I'm not tech savory is it easy to learn. I'm not no spring chicken. And do you need a computer to work with circut ty
Thank you for this wonderful video! I did try using a skinny tumbler with the shrink wrap bag. My ink did not come out as vibrant as I thought it would. I have used a Mug press to make mugs and the colors were fantastic. I want to try again. Do you have any guesses as to why the ink was not as vibrant? Thank you!
Hi, I love your channel . It is by far the easiest to follow. You mentioned svg files. I've bought several Etsy files but it's so difficult to change them to zip to svg. Could you please do a video on this ? Thank you.
I'm a first time infusible ink tumbler maker and I have been trying to follow along on this video to know what to do. I have got the skinny tumbler template up and have my writing I want and I found a picture on the Cricut design space it let me attach my writing but not the image is this going to affect it at all? can I just cut and carry on as if I was going to make a image on a shirt?
This is the first video I have seen of yours & your honesty & personality just poured out of you :) I had to subscribe :)

Thank you!
Love this! I'm a newbie and love how simple your explanations are! Beautiful projects! LINK!

This was amazing! I would like to get the link for the template. You have given lots of great tips. I can’t wait to try this! 🤩
Amazing and I love that you used a hair dryer.

Hi, Chris,
I’m a new subscriber. Yes, I have used infusable ink, but not very much. I have several sheets of it with various beautiful designs.
You should never put infusible/sublimation ink projects in the same oven that you use for food. The gasses release by these inks are toxic and will always remain in the oven even after cleaning. You can get a countertop convection oven for less than $50.

Do you have the name of the Convection Oven?
@Cyana De Jesus I went with the Galanz. It was the previous model than what is available now and at the time I purchased it was around $50.
Or just buy the tumbler heat press, you’ll save money and it’s so much easier and quicker . ☺️
Your instructions were great. I tried it for the first time tonight and my tumbler came out great. Thank you!
Great job!

Hello... I've never used SVGs nor infusible ink, I am a newbie. Thanks for your tutorial.
I don't have a Cricut. However, I'll modify things for the Brother Scan & Cut.
I just stumbled on your site. I am just starting with invisible ink. So thank you for sharing your page.

I use an old toaster oven. I also have a designated potholder and silicone tongs to handle and use while removing the hot wraps, tape, and paper.
Thank you 🙏 I have been simply trying to find the right tutorial with Time and Temp!!! You did it and it came out great 👍
I’m out of skinny tumblers at the moment because of trial and error(s)

Did you use a regular ceramic mug or a cricut? I have a lot and I'd like to use them....
@@guylainelessardgoulet5044 I used the cricut mug for that one. I tried others from dollar or thrift store but they must have had a finish of some kind on them because no transfer would take place. I love the infusable inks. I used it on mugs only. This is the first time I see it done on the tumbler.
I was bummed because I really wanted to make a tumbler but it obviously doesn't fit in the mug press. This worked PERFECTLY!!! I am so pleased, thanks for the tips!
Glad I could help!
Than you for the tutorial. I want to make some for my sons but I don't have the mug press. What kind of mug did you use?

hello
I have several mugs Ive messed up with Infusible ink, is there anyway to do something else with them? Loved this video..
Been watching a lot of DIY on tumblers and how to use Cricut machines. Looking forward to trying these techniques. Thanks for sharing. 😁
I was so intimidated so I just said ya know what, I gotta learn so I did it and they turned out great
They look great! I have a gas oven not sure if that would make a difference.
You need a convection oven. Please do not use the same oven you use to cook your meals. It's not safe.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. How/where do I get the tumbler template for 20oz tumblers
Loved watching this video. I will have to try this. Would the setting be the same for convection oven? I have a grandson named Dakotah.
Thank you for teach us! Can I do the same process with a mug?
Love infusible inks used it on several projects

I'm a newbie and would like info on the crafter's club! I've never used infusible ink either!

Do you lay the tumblers on the side or do they need to stand up.
Never used before but definitely want to learn.
