This was the exact video I needed!! I am making the same 30oz. tumbler and wondered how it would turn out with the extra strip on the bottom. Thank you so very much for sharing this video and all of your instructions!!! I feel like you knew exactly what I was doing!!! I sincerely appreciate all your help!!! 💗🌸❣💗🌸❣💗🌸❣💗🌸❣
@@SheeshSoCraftyLLC My tumbler turned out ok but not great. Yours turned out way better. I just need work connecting the two pieces. Yes, your instructions helped a lot!!! Thank you again!!!
Thank you for your tutorials! I love them and have been learning so much from you! I got a mug press for Mothers day and have been LOVING it but now I am gonna buy a sublimation printer as well.
New subscriber! I was so excited to see you do both of these items! I want to order blank samples, but definitely didn’t want to spend money on the tumbler press at this point if the Cricut Mug Press would work with your hacks. Thanks for sharing!
The mug press is more than just a timer, because it senses heat. The metal tumbler radiates heat more than a ceramic mug. In another post, someone was doing a mug in January and couldn't understand what was going on, because it had gone much faster a few months before. The cold room made the difference.
I'm just new listen to you and see you videos. I'm already subscribed you speak soft and calm. I love it.. and all you explanation is sweet. Thank you for teach us..
You said maybe cricut updated the software for the press, but how would the press receive updates? It's only plugged into the wall with the power cord. You only plug it into a computer for initial setup.
This is awesome, thanks for sharing! I just bought a Cricut mug press and then found these long skinny sublimation bottles and was like great now do I need to do oven press? or can I use my Cricut to do this. LOL Thanks!
How do you think the cricut mug press compares to the one that comes with the 5-in-1 press you have behind it? I have that same 5-in-1 and mine caught on fire 😳 thankfully I was right there!
I absolutely love this mug press! I haven’t used my other mug press since I’ve purchased this press and don’t think I will ever go back 😁 This mug press is more consistent and doesn’t give off a horrible smell like the other.
This video is so helpful! I have a question. When I do a tumbler in the cricut press, I only get 1 white light and then it cuts off instead of the progressing lights that I get when I use a mug. Do you have any suggestions?
Mine does the same thing at times and other times it will progress with the lights. I believe it's just based on the pressure of the tumbler. My suggestion would be to set a timer to ensure that you press it for the proper amount of time. I have found that if I press it between 1:30 - 2:00 mins on each side, that it looks the best!
Sorry about that Angela. I am forever updating our site and the links. You can find the Kids Flip Top Tumblers at www.sheeshsocrafty.com under Sublimation Blanks. Feel free to email me at sheeshsocrafty@gmail.com if you have any other questions.
Awesome video!!! So I didn’t know you could move the cup around and reheat some of the same places and it wouldn’t mess it up! Also, do you have to seal the cup? I really don’t want to have to get into epoxy!
Not yet! I plan on using the infusible ink in my next video when I give my thoughts on the Cricut Mug Press vs. The Tumbler Press. Stay tuned for that!
When sitting upright, I place the tumbler all the way down on the heating element. It's only when I flip it upside down that I raise it slightly above the heating element. This is to ensure that the rim of the cup is fully pressed and there is no ghosting.
Only if it will stay on to run. Since I use it with tumblers, the light indicators often times go out. However, the machine is still working so I always set 2 mins on my phone just to be on the safe side.

It's a printed sublimation image. You have to have a sublimation printer, sublimation ink as well as sublimation paper in order to achieve these designs.
The measurements on the kids tumbler are off😩. I know you said one thing in the video but you posted it and it's still too big. The vendor posted same and it's too big. What am I doing wrong. PLEASE ABD THANK YOU!!
looks so good! thank you for showing me how to make the mug press more versatile.

This was the exact video I have been looking for . Thank you. Do you need to put a silicon wrap around them.
You're welcome! Some people use a silicone mat but I still use a piece of cardboard with no issues.
Beautiful 🤩 😍 Thank you for this :)
Awesome! Now I know for sure I am going to get one. :)
Yes, go for it! You'll love it for sure! I haven't used my heat press since. This press is AMAZING!!!

You said cardboard instert? I have a tumbler heat press 20-30oz but I bought 12 oz kids tumblers and they don’t fit tightly on them please help
Yes, I use both cardboard in my Cricut mug press and silicone pads. Try them both to see what works best for you.
?? What paper You used
Love this! May I ask where you order your tumblers from? I need that 30 oz and the kids cup please! 😁
That info is in the description
❤️❤️❤️
What size do you do the straight kids cups
Great tutorial! New subscriber here- wondering if you’ve tried this with Infusible ink and what the timing you used if you did. TY so much.

Do you sit tumbler all the way down or did you pick it up a little off the bottom of the press?

Awesome
Love the images. Where did you find them?
Most are from google and some from a Facebook group I am in
Just got the press...so you let the press timer run on its own?
Only if it will stay on to run. Since I use it with tumblers, the light indicators often times go out. However, the machine is still working so I always set 2 mins on my phone just to be on the safe side.

Hi there just wandering do u create your on designs or is it something that we can purchase.?
Hi Ann, I purchase most of my images from private designers or Etsy. Some images are pulled from Google but most are purchased.
Where do you get your cup at
You can find blanks on our website at www.sheeshsocrafty.com

you don.t need butcher paper like you do on the mugs?
No I don’t use butcher paper.
30oz is much easier than the 20oz. It fits perfectly.
How old is your mug press..do we need to update our firmware to work with tumblers
Mug press is almost 2 months old and no you don't have to update it to work with the tumblers.
how do you paint the patterns on the paper?
It's a printed sublimation image. You have to have a sublimation printer, sublimation ink as well as sublimation paper in order to achieve these designs.

Each vendor sells variations of these tumblers. So, I would say it’s always best to measure your own and use those dimensions for best results.
time consuming if used for commercial
