Howdy, Thank You for the effort you are putting in to this. I had Tang Soo Do (Moo Do Kwan) lessons in the 70s and 80s from a top notch Korean instructor. I enjoy your 'go get em' way. I have been involved in daily a 108 style Tai Chi, since retirement four years ago. It keeps the joints oiled up, and the spine happy. But, I miss the Tang Soo Do way. I hope you don't mind my taking advantage of your superior instruction ability. I am presently on the west coast for the next 6 or 7 months with extra time to myself, and going through your you videos and practicing from you is how I want use a good portion of that time. Thank You very much for doing this.

Thank you very much! I do 24-step mostly Yang style Tai Chi, Tai Chi broadsword, and started 42? I created these videos for my students and anyone else that wants to use them as a reference for their Tang Soo Do training. Thanks for watching!

Hello! Thanks for the awesome video. Do you have any videos showing these blocks being used against an opponent so I can better understand when to use the outside inside block for example? Thanks

@@Rockholdkarate west coast. I took Chung do kwan back in the day, and a mere 10 years before it was still tang so do.
I don’t know any TSD studios in my area, sadly.

Very cool! I've only met a couple of Chung Do Kwan practitioners, but had great discussions on how similar it is to Tang Soo Do. There are definitely quite a few Tang Soo Do schools on the west coast, at least before the pandemic, might be a different story now. I knew of a martial arts schools in Texas that closed. But you never know, there might be some near you.

      @@Rockholdkarate there looks to
Be one very good one about 25 miles away …but seeing as I’m an old dude I don’t see myself doing that through rush hour after work ..

Yikes, that pretty far, especially in rush hour traffic.
