These Rain-X products work really well, both the rain-repellent and the anti-fog. I've tested them on my Shoei XR 1100 visor (latest video on my channek) - the rain repellent worked well, I could see a noticeable improvement in the size of the water droplets and the way they bead, but the anti-fog was absolutely spot on, no fogging whatsoever.
MotoZest how often do u have to apply it to windshield for it too keep working

Nice test but I will prefer if you stay at each speed for at least 5 seconds.
When you reach 40kmph, stay at that speed for 5 seconds to see if the water begins to runs off.
Then increase to 50kmph and stay there for another 5 seconds and do the same for the other speeds till which ever top speed you like to reach

Then rinse off your vehicle you have water being technology on your vehicle plus your hubcaps plus your windshield everything on your vehicle that's glass will be beating off when you're driving plus the wind won't be able to grip your vehicle that's how awesome it is it lasts for 3 to 6 weeks.
Do a comparison. Like one side rain-x & the other without. & you don't have to drive that long to test it. Maybe 30 seconds.
Hi Mate, I've used this over the years and found using a smaller piece on applicator pad with smaller passed saves on product and also after 4 hours I will give it a second coat. Then put the car in the sun to harden the coats:))) lasts for ages

it's good stuff and it works, just make sure you mask off any rubber/plastic parts around your windows or be extra careful around those.
There's this new Rain X product it's called Rain-X spray and wipe you can put it all over your vehicle and when it rains the wind and the water cannot rip your vehicle so basically Cruise.

RainX works but with speeds at 50 kmp at least to see the droplets fly away, but I love the product a lot for my car!!!!
It works better if you applied and removed: Compound, Polish, Wax and then the Rain X.
I use a razor with soapy water,clay,then wash with ipa,then apply rain x.
Yea I use the RainX spray, its easiest application. Last about two weeks (I park outside too) and the water flies off. With wipers it helps me see super clear. My experience with CG JetSeal, and various carnuba and synthetic wax is they last longer but water doesnt fly off as easy

i would suggest to just use the corner of the microfiber folded, so that you will not use a lot of product.

i rather get a Chemical Guy Hydro Sud Ceramic car shampoo which not only produces the same water beading on the glass...it has the same effect too on the car body...now let us try this brand you recommend on the car's body other than on glass and windscreen...

I find the effect more intense if you clay/steelwool the glass before applying

It being AWD does not affect its ability to brake. Actually it makes it harder because the car is heavier than a 2WD model. But yes, it is 80kph so arround 45-50mph
Speed snd compromised visibility in a crowded urban area with a narrow street and no dividers. These are the only relevant factors here, and yes, it looked a bit unsafe.
Video doesn't show what it does, there's no before and after. Would of been nice to apply it to only one side of the windshield so we can see the difference between treated and untreated.

if you're going fast enough, the rain will slide off, highway speeds in general it will do all the work for you

worst product ever, when you use your wipers, it makes terrible foggy glass. it takes 3 seconds to vanish that fog. won't use it ever again.
