Camshaft change on a Royal Enfield Himalayan

- This is a brand new BS6/Euro 5 Himalayan. The cam is the HT-b which per dyno gives 5HP gain on a stock bike. I am going to check that out!
The change only took 30 minutes including teabreak.
I advise the use of a torque wrench (we did not use it bc the mechanic can work on this bike with eyes closed).

And where did you find such a good mechanic with such a clean workshop!? Talk about good karma!
cannot wait to see some riding video with the change! nice
indian has style, chai and motorcycles, hats off from Mexico.
Nice work!
Is that the kent cam from Hitchcock motorcycles? How did you like it?
Do not know what the new cam is capable off, without a Dyno map to prove but the young man who changed the cam surely has a very good and clean hand on engines.
I don't mean to stereotype, but I am loving the South Asian ingenuity: the bodgered tools, etc. We need more of that here. Also more teabreaks...
Love the music where could I find this
nice
In my Himalayan BS4, the fuel is being mixed with engine oil in the crank case and i could feel a good decrease in mileage as well. Any idea what the issue would be. Thanks in advance.
One can see the thorough professional work done by him! May I ask why you changed the camshaft in a new vehicle?
5HP more?????
Is that the NMW 8.4.3 Camshaft?
Why the cam shaft was changed
he said to increase 5 hps, its an updgrade.
Chai !
Did he adjust clearance without a feeler gauge? People think experience makes up for it, but that is pure bs.
Yeh that's how they do it in India; just by finger tip feel! Even in the official royal Enfield service centre they do it like that I watched with my own eyes!
How can I buy one in India?
Heres the link to get it from the UK manufacturer
You forgot to install the half C washer
yes, we did not forget it, we just did not film it. my fault, I was busy on the phone and the mechanic just kept working...
Wow this is wayyy easier on a Honda Grom.
