- The himalayan has always had everything going for it in terms of suspension, handling and comfort... the only field it really lacked was in the power department... hopefully the NMW racing big bore kit along with their high lift camshaft and standalone ECU (next video 😁) gives us enough power to gap the himalayan haters XD...

It's very smooth and runs very nicely literally pulls like mad in 5th... But yeah the 450 should be way more advance (probably 4v,maybe dohc)... But this Himalayan will always be the best imo cuz of the characteristics of the engine

I always worry when increasing HP - the entire bike has been designed around the original power output figures and even after only travelling 10,000kms on my BS4, I have always found the power of the 411cc sufficient if the gears are used suitably.

That engine is built like a tank .EFI is the downfall .lean mixture causes overheating .Do carb conversion and cam.
6000km on the big bore running rich asf with the rev limit at 9k... Doing strong💯(bad mileage 🤣)...but agree with this dude ^carb+ cam + whatever mods you have in mind makes more sense... 🇦🇺 ♥️ Enjoyed a lotta time in Sydney

😂 I'm nervous to rip this bike hard cuz it's been only like 1k km and I feel being a 471cc piston i should give it some time? Compression has increased for sure... Probably sometime this month! If i can find a 250 🤞..

Hope the piston survies.... Because I also bought a drag bote kit for pulsar ... Freakin the piston busted in 3rd drag race
Now I only use goetz Or usha piston.... And custom cylinder bored in jamshedpur/tatanagar....
I have made so many friends in tata steel they have promised me for chunks of piston steel used in tata trucks from which I will machine out my own piston....
Hoping it survives cuz it's forged... Been 1k soo far hopefully atleast 25-30k to go 🤞... The kit was made for street use also they reduce compression by giving a thicker bore packing...all the best with your build! Thanks for watching

Its new block & piston ride bike on economy speed bcoz it takes time to free after u rev it.....

Including installation ended up costing 45k... That includes standalone ECU which I haven't installed yet... I'm from Bangalore!

Luckily😂, my mechanic was able to sort out the problem... If finish of the bore was better it would 100% be plug and play... The head facing was optional and recommended by my mechanic! Nmw says you do not need to face the head

There is no decompressor on the high rise cam... No difference soo far in start up, idles perfectly

Just the big bore kit with cam is amazing for highway riding! Was able to do comfortable 110 at 4500rpm with more power to overtake... Will update with a video of the bike with standalone ECU!

It's still a single Himalayan... Maybe if the busa is down 2 cyl 🫠... I think it should beat a duke 250 and give 390 decent competition (with standalone ECU on 100 octane tune)
How much did it all cost & does it fit bs6
45k with fitting... Which includes an ECU which I haven't installed yet! I believe the block is the same for bs6 but to confirm you can contact nmw performance

Himalayan running great 😃... Xpulse not Soo much had issues with the big bore maybe because of Multiple issues such as tune and because I was harsh with it...

@@lophloph07 too much power for that engine to handle, it's made for 650 CC Not 800 CC, in high stress the engine ll blow out
If the factory had wanted it more powerful, then they would have made it so
It has been tested for hundreds of thousands of miles. For reliable running. If it is not broken don't fix it. It is what it is , don't waste your money. Big power hike.bigger problem. Leave as is.

Stock is good as is... Powertronics is a huge boost imo... But yeah my himi prolly kills most Himalayans in its way🤣
Big cam + powertronic is really good... If you don't wanna sway far from stock
